The Moon Thief

* Thum! * Heinald heard a voice coming from his back. When he turned, he saw a hand emerging from one of the graves. After a few seconds, hands started to come out of all the graves, and then all the skeletons started to come out of the graves.They had a deep red aura around them, but Heinald did not feel any Magic Energy coming from them.

* Hryaa! * The skeletons shouted in unison and started running towards Heinald.

"Damn! These skeletons are outnumbered!" Heinald gritted his teeth, he was surrounded by the skeletons.

"Death Ray!" Heinald pointed his hand forward.

A mixed red and black fire ray emerged from his hand. All the skeletons remaining within the range of the ray instantly turned to ash. Heinald turned around at once, all the skeletons within a range of about twenty meters had turned to ash. But there were many more skeletons to deal with.

With Heinald's only thought, his sword came out of the dimensional pocket of his robe and appeared in his hand. He gathered all his strength in his legs and dashed to the right, with all the skeletons in front of him crumbled.He did this to avoid the blockade of skeletons.

"Basic Fireball!"

A fireball shot out of Heinald's hand and exploded the moment it hit the skeletons. The scattered flames ignited all skeletons about 15 meters in diameter.

"Let me see your strength." Heinald squinted his eyes and let the skeleton closest to him attack him.The skeleton hit his chest quickly with his paw.

* Pa! *

The attack of the skeleton wasn't strong enough to even force Heinald to back down, he gave a sigh of relief. Though the robe, which was quite solid, also had an effect. He didn't even need to use any magic against these skeletons. However,  he could not make sense that these skeletons were so weak, these skeletons could only be a problem for the novice knights and perhaps the Apprentice Ainsars. According to his estimates, these skeletons came out of their graves through some kind of formation.

"Well, I can handle you with the sword." Heinald muttered. He quickly charged the skeletons and began to chop them up. His physical strength had increased considerably after he became Level 1 Ainsar. In one cut,the skeletons in front of him were cut into pieces.There were frequent attacks that he could not counter or avoid, but these attacks were not at a level that could harm.

Heinald fought skeletons non-stop for hours. Exhaled loudly after smashing it in the last skeleton he saw around. It was not a harsh battle for him, but a boring one. With just normal cuts, he was able to dissect the skeletons in one shot. He was normally bored when he did this on thousands of skeletons.

"Boring ..." Heinald had a scornful expression on his face.

As Heinald looked around, a green sphere suddenly appeared in front of him.Before he realized what was happening, all the shattered and burnt bones around began to fly towards the sphere. All the bones gathered around the green sphere and formed a giant skeleton.

The giant skeleton was about ten meters tall. The green sphere was in the center of his chest, and green fire gushed from the eyeballs. A bone sword several meters long formed in the hands of the skeleton.

"What the fuck is happening !?" Heinald shouted. He also felt the intense Magical Energy coming from the giant skeleton. The Magical Energy that the giant skeleton emitted was certainly stronger than him.

The giant skeleton raised his sword and downward it towards Heinald. Heinald immediately jumped sideways and dodged the attack. When the giant sword hit the ground, an area of 50 meters collapsed and a huge crater formed. The scattered soil and rock fragments began to pour from the sky like rain.

Heinald's heart was beating madly, he had never imagined that the attack could have been so violent that if that attack had hit him he would certainly have died.

"I should definitely avoid the attacks of this damn thing!" Heinald was examining the giant skeleton.

The green sphere on the giant skeleton's chest rushed forward and stood behind Heinald. Meanwhile, the skeleton had collapsed and formed a mountain of bone. However, the bones quickly gathered around the green shpere again and reconstructed the skeleton,the whole process took about two seconds. When Heinald turned his back, the skeleton raised its sword again and was about to downward it towards him. He quickly rolled over to the skeleton's legs,so the skeleton lost its angle of attack.

Heinald, with all his might, slashed his sword into the right leg of the giant skeleton. With the effect of the powerful attack, the right leg of the giant skeleton was severed and bone fragments were scattered around. However, the giant skeleton was not toppled.The scattered bones flew back towards the skeleton and reconstructed the leg.

"Damn it!" Heinald muttered.

"Whisper of the Wind!" Heinald began casting one of the spells he had just learned. Within seconds, Heinald's body was surrounded by the wind. The giant skeleton raised his sword, now the bone sword was covered with green flames and quickly displayed a horizontal slash.

A green arc-shaped fire wave flew rapidly towards Heinald. Heinald glided to the left at full speed and dodged the attack at the last moment. When the fire wave hit the ground, there was a scorching explosion of fire, and green flames were scattered.

The skeleton swung a fist suddenly. Heinald was still in the air and the fist was coming towards him, breaking the air around it.

"Wind of Aira!"

An air wave came out of his hand and hit to the fist. The air wave was not enough to affect the fist, but made Heinald fly backwards, preventing him from being hit by the fist. Fortunately, this spell had shortest casting time among the spells he knew. With the level 1 Ainsar, the cast time of this spell was even less than 1 second.

When Heinald flew back, he hit the ground and after a few meters of slide he was able to stop. Fortunately, he did not fall too high, he did not suffer any injuries.

Effect time of Whisper of the Wind was expired, and Heinald had currently consumed half of his Magic Energy. He immediately stood up and looked at the skeleton. The skeleton held his sword with both hands and raised it. The sword was again surrounded by green flames, and the skeleton threw the sword at him with all his might. Heinald immediately jumped to the side and cast the Wind of Aira again. There was a violent explosion of fire as the sword hit the ground. Heinald had just stepped out of the explosion's radius, but the shock wave hit his back violently.

"Aaarghh!" Heinald flew a few yards and fell to the ground. He coughed blood violently, his internal organs were damaged.If he hadn't hardened his bones, that shock wave would have easily broken many of his bones.

Heinald immediately pulled a Low Level Healing Potion from the dimensional pocket of his robe and took a great sip.

At that time, the Skeleton raised his arm. The Bone Sword flew quickly and came back into the hands of the skeleton.Heinald realized that he could not destroy the giant skeleton by attacking the bones, the bones were gathering around that green sphere, if he destroyed that green sphere he could finish the skeleton.

"Lightning Spear!"

Heinald held up his arm. Lightning began to gather on his hand and took the form of a three-headed spear. The Lightning Spear quickly started flying towards the skeleton. However,at that moment,the giant skeleton was about to throw its bone sword again.

* BOM! * The sword of the giant skeleton collided with the Lightning Spear.

There was a big explosion due to the impact of the collision.There was so much noise that Heinald's ears began to clang. The resulting shock wave pulverized many of the surrounding stone structures.

"Bones have fallen!" Heinald had seen the bones surrounding the sphere disintegrate under the impact of the explosion. He had to destroy that sphere before the bones could gather around the sphere again. He immediately stood up and started running towards the sphere as fast as he could. When he was near to the sphere, a few bones were already gathering around the sphere.Heinald jumped toward the sphere, raised his sword, and sliced the green sphere vertically.

* Pam! *

The green sphere could not withstand the violent sword strike and exploded,strewing a wave of energy around it. He was too near to the explosion, so he was blown back meters. Before being blown back meters, all he saw was a silver key sticking out of the sphere.

"Damn! I am so badly injured ..." Heinald's entire body was damaged. He took the Low Level Healing Potion out of his robe and drank the entire bottle. Straightened up difficulty and he began to look around. He only saw bones, dust,and green flames around. But he was feeling good,after this successful fight. He managed to beat a tough opponent.
