The Married Life Of Immortals

Chapter: 79: Licking My Mouth

"No, go into the stall over there and get clean first while I put up the partition," Lysia ordered, and Bane growled at her.

"Are you serious? Did we not just have a shower together? I was just in the bathroom when you were climbing in and out of the bath naked to puke into the toilet!" Bane shouted, and Lysia went to punch him, but he ducked and ran, getting in the stall.

"Shut up, and get clean before I decide to use fire magic to burn it off you!" Lysia snapped, but she smiled as Bane closed the door to the stall.

Lysia pulled a token from her pocket and placed it on the water, and a partition of stone rose out of the water, creating a small wall high enough to hide anyone inside, and far enough away that one could stand up without their heads popping above the edge.

Bane emerged a short time later, his hair dripping wet, and Lysia was waiting, a towel covering her body. She turned away from Bane, and then pointed to his side. "There is another one for you. You can hang it up next to mine."

Bane frowned. "Do you really expect me to just sit on the other side and not peak over?"

"If you do, I will come around to the other side, and cast thunder on you and the water you are in," Lysia promised, and Bane shrugged.

"Fair enough," he said and walked into the hot water.

It had taken him awhile to get the shit off him, but now Bane just floated on his back in the big pool of hot water. Having a bath like this was something he wasn't used to, so he decided to just float and enjoy it.

"How long are you going to be silent?" Lysia asked after some time, and Bane looked up at the ceiling with a smile.

"You could come to my side and float with me. It is pretty relaxing," he replied, and Lysia huffed, making him chuckle.

"You just want to peek at my body," Lysia growled, and Bane nodded to himself.

"You're not wrong, but quit saying it like I am some random person. Bilgarth said he will be ready in a few days, but are you still going to be this shy with me after that?" Bane asked, and Lysia went silent, not expecting him to have already talked to Bilgarth.

"Yes. We have a long life ahead of us, so it is not a rush. Besides, it is not like we can do it before the wedding night. If we do, you won't get anything special for our honeymoon," Lysia warned, and Bane lost his balance, and sank into the water, sucking in a mouthful.

Lysia heard the splash, and her eyes went wide. "Bane?" She cried, and stood up, running around the wall, forgetting she was naked, and saw Bane standing there, spitting out the water he had swallowed.

Bane looked up after her caught his breath, and froze. Something told him that he needed to think fast, or he was going to be paying to fix this place!

"That is a cute freckle on your waist," Bane blurted out, unsure why his mouth was even moving while no plan had formed in his head..

Lysia blinked, then dove and threw a fist at Bane's head. He moved his head out of the way, but let the naked woman tackle him into the water. Lysia was blushing bright red as she came up, and Bane laughed at the expression on her face.

"You jerk!" Lysia growled, but spun her around so her back was to his chest, and wrapped her arms around her.

"Silence. That is what we need right now," Bane said with a smile, pulling them both back to sit against the wall of the bath. "Just stay quiet and don't say anything."

Lysia's back stiffened as Bane held her, but soon her body relaxed, and she leaned back into his chest. She didn't know how long they stayed like that, but the water never got cold, so she wasn't sure if time was passing the same for them as it was outside.

"We should get going," Lysia said after a time, and Bane released her.

Lysia stood up, but then she felt Bane grab her hand and pull her back. She turned her head as Bane pulled her towards him, and their lips met. Lysia stiffened for a moment, and then her eyes went wide as she felt Bane's tongue enter her mouth.

"Stop!" She gasped, and pulled her head away, making Bane smirk.

"Sorry! Too much!" Bane laughed, but Lysia punched him, sending him crashing into the wall.

"Too much? Too much?! You have a lot of nerve! I can't believe you just tried to stick your tongue in my mouth! That felt like such a nice moment, and you had to ruin it with some gag?!" Lysia fumed, and Bane gave her the finger as he peeled himself off the ground.

With a haggard look, he glared at Lysia. "You damned nut job! That is a type of kiss! Not a gag!"

"Oh really? Since when is licking the inside of someone else's mouth considered kissing?! Are you a bird or something?! What the hell is the matter with you!"

"What is the matter with me?! Are you insane? Have you ever kissed someone before? I don't understand how you can be twelve hundred years old and not even understand that there is more than one way to kiss!" Bane snapped, and Lysia stabbed a finger at him.

"Unlike you, I have never kissed another man besides you!"

"Neither have I! I don't go around kissing men!"

"You idiot! I meant the other hundreds of other women that you have probably slept with before me! I am just another number to you, aren't I?!" Lysia roared, the water boiling around her and steaming.

Bane rolled his eyes back, tipping his head, and pulling his hair, before snapping back to glare at Lysia. "I have not slept with hundreds of women! Like three! And two tried to kill me, and then the other dumped me! Sue me for being bad at relationships!"

"Bad at relationships? Are you serious right now?!" Lysia screamed, and Bane waved his hand back and forth.

"Whatever! What the fuck are we even arguing about? Kissing? How is it that I am the one that has had the most experience with kissing and I am the only one that is getting attacked over this? Do you understand how ridiculous this is?"

"Ridiculous?" Lysia snapped, but there was a knock at the door.

"Hey, I was going to ask you two to get out and make room for the next people, but are you two okay?" A man called from the other side of the door, and Bane and Lysia just looked at each other.

"We were just leaving. We will be done right away," Lysia said in a calm and collected voice, but then turned to Bane with a harsh whisper. "This is not over!"

Bane repeated her words in a mocking manner, but then narrowly dodged a wash bucket that Lysia threw at him. The bucket crashed into the wall, and then fell to the ground.

"You know, there is this blacksmith I heard about in town," Bane said, switching gears. "Do you want to come with me to go see him?"

Lysia gave him a sideways glare, but then nodded, turning away. As she did, the frown on her face melted into a smile. She knew she was being ridiculous, but Bane always had a way of bringing the craziness out of her. He also knew how to calm her down like nothing had even happened.

"Fine. But this isn't over. Don't think I have forgotten," Lysia grumbled as she got out, wrapping the towel around her body, and then walking into one of the stalls to change.
