The Mafia Prince's Angel:His Miracle

Chapter 29: Good Girl

IVORY

I stormed into the house fuming. That condescending brute! How can he refer to my clothes as rags. Well, not that the clothes are the classiest but at least, they're descent. And even if I don't need my old clothes, I still need to go get some of my belongings - things that are the last memory I have of my parents.

I paced the living room, still fuming at Alexander, wanting to chop his head off if I set my eyes on him.

He's the most annoying human to ever grace this earth. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks like that or others don't notice how annoying and arrogant he is.

His devilish handsome face flashed in my head. His annoying but cute smirk that always have a way of riling me up beyond measures. He's actually fit to be the man of my dreams, in terms of appearance. Character wise? I don't think so.

I think I'm attracted to him. There's this invisible magnet that seems to be forcefully pulling me towards him. My body reacts to him against my will.

Despite how bright and shiny his grey orbs are, there's still this dreary hint in them. A dreary hint that depicts shielded hurt and pain or it can just be my usual stupid assumptions.

I stopped pacing the living room and almost flinched when muscular arms encircled my waist, I didn't even need to turn back to know that it was Alexander. His sandalwood scent filled my nostrils, calming my tumbling insides down.

Why is his touch so soothing and calming?

He leaned into my neck and inhaled deeply before giving me slow sultry kisses on my neck.

My knees buckled and I would have fallen if not for his strong arms around my waist.

He kissed my hair, my temple, my cheek, my shoulder. He pushed my back further into him that I felt something poking my butt.

"What were you saying about you walking around naked, huh?" He whispered in a raspy and hush tone, his breathe fanning my neck.

I elbowed him and forced myself away from his arms. "Pervert," I muttered giving him a glare and stormed upstairs, to my room, not without noticing the sinister smirk that was dancing on his lips.

I got into my room and shot the door behind me with a loud bang. I leaned on the door while breathing heavily. I ruffled my hair irritatingly and slowly slid down the door to the floor.

I think I'm in someone else's body or it seems my body has a mind of it's own. Because, tell me why my body would react to the littlest touch of his? It's not like his touch is that intimate. Just light touches and feathery kisses here and there, boom, my body is on fire.

Cool down body. He's not permanently ours. We'd just be with him for a year and then we're off to go find our true soul mate. He ain't the one! Right?

I inhaled and exhaled deeply before running towards the bathroom. I really need a cold shower to calm my body down.

I sat in front of the vanity, removing the face mask I had worn before taking my bath. The cold water had been chilling but it was worth it as my body feels so relaxed and calm.

I was dressed in a baby blue, silky night wear. It's actually free and comfy on the body.

I picked up my phone and plunged myself on the bed. I checked the time which was just a minute past eight; I guess I'd be sleeping early today.

If it were at Ava's apartment, I don't think I'd even be thinking about sleep.

I miss her so much and I haven't even called her.

I dialled her number and she picked on the first ring, screaming non-stop into my ears.

"Oh please, stop being dramatic, Ava," I said into the phone and her noise stopped abruptly.

"They're shouts of Joy, Ivory. Don't kill my celebrations." I could literally swear that she has a sulking face right now.

"And what are you celebrating?" I asked, and I heard her scoff.

"It's been two days, Ivory. Since you got married, you didn't even bother to give me a call but I didn't mind because I know you'd be pretty occupied with you know...your Prince charming." I could tell she was grinning from ear to ear.

"You're just being delusional, Ava," I said with an eye roll and she gasped loudly.

"Don't tell me you both haven't gotten under the sheets yet?" She asked, sounding surprised.

"Ava! This is a contract marriage! Have you forgotten? We won't and will never consummate it till we go our separate ways."

"What's the fun in that? Don't be a boring wife. Spice up your marriage, girly. Contractual or not, he is your husband. If it were me, I'd have seduced the greek god to my bed," she giggled loudly making me roll my eyes with a smile.

"You're something else, Ava. Anyways, how have you been?"

"Very well. I just miss you soooo much. The house feels empty without you and I feel lonely," she whispered and my heart wrenched at her words.

"I miss you so much too, Ava. If there was a way I could drop this whole stuff and come back, I'd do it."

"Have you gone nuts? Just because of a little 'l miss you', you want to dump everything and come back. Don't even try it," she warned playfully and I laughed out.

I and Ava spoke more for sometime and I ended the call with me telling her that I'd be coming to the apartment tomorrow to take some of my stuffs.

She bid me goodnight with unending kisses before disconnecting the line.

I sighed before turning on my WiFi connection and deciding to scroll the internet a little.

My jaw dropped and my eyes widened when I saw my pictures and Alexander's all over the net. I didn't even know that I had been trending online till now.

But what do I expect? When the paparazzi were everywhere. I even saw a picture of when Alexander took me home. How the hell did they take a picture of that night?

I jolted out of my thoughts when a knock sounded on my door.

I got up and went to open it. I stood in surprise at the face that was staring back at me. What is he doing here?

"Are you going to let me in or you'd just let me stand in this hallway?" he asked and I rolled my eyes at him. He was dressed in ash sweatpants and a black sleeveless shirt.

"When did you ever need permission to enter my room? You would always waltz in like a heedless peacock," I uttered, shifting to the side while he stepped into the room.

I turned to look at him with a questioning look on my face. He simply shrugged and went to sit on my bed. He signaled me to come forward with his two fingers and patted his laps.

My eyebrows shot upwards at his gestures.

Is he telling me to come sit on his laps?

No way, hubby! No way!

My mind refuted but it seems my body had other plans as my legs started moving towards him. I stopped in front of him and he sat me down on his laps.

"Good girl," he whispered into my ear before licking and sucking my earlobe that had me closing my eyes.

"W-wh-what are y-you doing here?", I managed to ask, my chest slightly heaving up and down.

"I came to sleep with my wife," he answered while kissing the back of my ear, his lips going down slowly till it settled on the little hollow that joined my shoulder and my neck. He inhaled deeply before exhaling, his hot breathe fanning my neck.

"What do you mean by sleep?" I said, unable to concentrate when his hand snuck under the top of my night wear, settling on my stomach.

"I came to sleep with you, on your bed. What are you thinking in that pretty head of yours, Angel? Though I wouldn't mind making your thoughts a reality." He chuckled and I pushed him away.

"Screw you!" I got up from his laps and got on the bed fully, lying on my side. The bed dipped beside me and I felt Alexander's hand on my waist, he pulled me closer to his body and planted a kiss on my neck before whispering a 'goodnight'.

I snuggled closer into him as his warmth coated me. My eyes grew heavy and I sighed in exhaustion as my lids came close.
