THE LOVE I WISHED FOR

Edison pov

We reached at the new house.

I opened the door of the car and got out.

It was a big mansion for two people but mine and her father gifted that to us.

I walked forward leaving Anna behind.

I looked back and see Anna coming from behind struggling in her heavy gown.

Should I help her?

I sighed and opened the door and entered inside the Mansion.

I sat down on the couch because I was so tired.

I was so tired that I decided to straight go to my room and sleep.

Anna entered inside and sat down on the couch beside me.

I took a glance at her.

she was sitting on the couch with her eyes close.

She is looking so preety just like a goddess.

She is looking gorgeous in that gown.

I was admiring her beauty then I remembered that she have a boyfriend.

I can't believe I am her husband but I need to think about her boyfriend.

Just thinking about that makes me angry.

But why I am angry?

We talked before the marriage and we decided to live our life as we want.

I shook my head and walked upstairs to my room. I need to clear my head.

I took a shower and changed into my nightwear then I headed downstairs

There I see Anna struggling climbing stairs with her heavy gown.

Why girls have to wear such a heavy gown when they can't handle it.

I was just staring at her but suddenly she lost her balance and slipped from the stairs.

My body suddenly moved on its own and ran to her.

As she was about to touch the ground I catched her.

She closed her eyes I hold her by her waist.

I sighed in relief.

Her lips looks so red and plump.

It reminds me of red wine.

She opened her eyes and looked straight in my eyes.

We were staring in each other eyes.

Her eyes are so....pretty.

Dark brown pairs of eyes.

I feel something in my stomach but what is it.

"thank God i thought I was going to fall."

She said making me snap out of my thoughts.

She smiled and suddenly my heart best fasten.

"umm you are not going to leave me?"

I realised that we were still in that position.

I immediately leave her and stood straight.

Suddenly I felt a sudden rush of blood in my body.

" Btw thankyou."

She again smiled uhh can you please stop smiling like this.

" you are done with shower?"

I nodded.

" okay then I will be going."

I nodded and she climbed upstairs to the room.

As she went out of my sight.

I placed my hand on the chest and felt my so fast heartbeat.

I went to the kitchen took a glass of water and went upstairs.

Anna was nowhere so I think she is taking shower.

So we will be leaving in the same room as we are married.

I sat down on the bed and rested my head on the headboard.

I was scrolling down through my phone then I heard the sound of door opening.

Anna came out wearing a sweatpants and a oversized tshirt.

She looked around the room but suddenly get surprised seeing me.

"umm are you also going to sleep here?"

I gave her a confused look.

"Yes..did you forget we are married. So obviously we will be sharing the room.

But if you want I can go out."

" No no....I was just asking. Ofcourse you will be sleeping here."

She giggled awkwardly.

" and don't worry i am not going to do something."

She just laughed a little.

" I know you are not going to do something I trust you."

She said and walked to the dressing table and start combing her hair.

I didn't realise that i was staring at her until she noticed and said.

"why are you staring at me?"

I snapped out and converted my gaze towards my phone.

" umm I was not staring at you I was just thinking about something."

I scroll down through my phone than i feel that someone is sitting beside me.

I look upwards and see Anna looking at me.

She was now On bed sitting beside me.

When did she came here?

"what!"

"nothing what are you doing?"

" nothing."

I said coldly.

"okay."

Then she opened her phone and start scrolling.

Then I saw her texting someone maybe her boyfriend.

She smiled while reading the text. She look so happy while talking to him.

I feel something in my chest.

I ignored all my thoughts and lay down on the bed while facing my back to Anna.

After few minutes she also lay down and off the lights .

We had almost 3 feet distance between us.

I closed my eyes trying to get rid of all the test after sleeping in the same bed as her.

But then in some time I fell asleep.

Next morning

Anna pov

I woke up early in the morning.

As I opened my eyes and looked around. I see a sleeping Edison beside me .

Honestly he look so cute while sleeping. I chuckled and pinched his cheek.

Hopefully he didn't wake up.

I got up and went to shower.

Should I wake him up?

But he look so cute while sleeping.

Otherwise he always looks so serious but now look at him.

Let him sleep.

I dressed up and walked downstairs.

I made breakfast for me and Edison.

As a wife I need to do all these things.

I sat down on the dinning table and start eating my breakfast.

I was eating my breakfast peacefully until I heard footsteps coming downstairs.

Edison came down wearing his working suit.

He looks handsome as always.

EDISON'S pov

I woke up and see empty bed beside me.

Where is Anna?

I got up and went Inside the washroom.

I did my business and got ready for work.

I made my way downstairs.

Anna must be here.

There I see Anna eating breakfast on dinning table without me.

She could have waited for me.

" oh you woke up. Good morning. "

" Good morning."

" now come and have your breakfast."

I sat down on the chair in front of her.

She did her breakfast without me but Atleast she cooked.

She served Me the breakfast.

She kept the plate in front of me. She finished her and walk to the kitchen.

I took a glance at the pancake it look so delicious.

I take on bite as i expected it is very tasty.

I need to admit She is a very good cook.

'' how is it?:

"umm it's okay."

" thanks."

Then she went to the living room and came back with holding her bag in her hand.

" uh Edison i am going."

" where?"

" To work. My company."

"I can drop you there. I am also about to leave."

" yeah I would like to but i need to go somewhere else before office. You can go ahead maybe next time."

"okay."

"Okay then I am going bye."

She said and left without waiting for me .

She might went to meet her boyfriend.

I again feel the burning sensation in my chest.

Why I Asked her in the first place?

I finished my breakfast and took the plate to the kitchen.

I placed the plate and went to living room.

I took my car keys and left.
