A request... are they going to ask for an item or money or something? Ugh...! N-no good. I can't think straight...!

"That spaceship only seats three, including the guide-girl."

'Sorry, Nico!'

The Space Girl named Nico transferred all her money via the system screen and then—

—committed seppuku with her laser saber.

I boarded the spaceship with the remaining Space Girl and the guide-girl. The guide-girl piloted the ship.

"Shiki-san. Your friend code, please."

"If you unfriend me, I won't forgive you."

"I look forward to the day we meet again."

I safely returned to the Space Station and immediately logged out.

"Outta the way, outta the wayyy!!"

"...Ugh. Don't run in the house, sis."

Dodging my little sister who came out of her room, I dashed to the toilet.

...I managed to preserve my dignity! Thank goodness!

I decided not to log in again today.

I quickly finished my school prep for tomorrow and looked up "White Meteor" on my PC.

"White Meteor—A player who appeared one month after the release of Infinite Space. Player name: 'Shirahoshi'. Wields the Ultimate Weapon 'GodAccel', and sweeps away players with overwhelming speed."

So her name is Shirahoshi-chan.

"Primarily appears on the moon and acts hostile toward players. Though often absent, she appears on the moon at least once every two days. Since moon exploration requires a minimum stay of three days, conflict is unavoidable. Due to her player name and her meteor-like speed, she was given the title 'White Meteor.' Some speculate she isn't a player at all, but a raid boss created by the developers."

Apparently, no one has defeated her yet. There's even a theory that defeating White Meteor is the condition for clearing the game. Some armies are said to be operating with the sole goal of taking her down. Maybe that group on the moon I saw was one of those armies.

"White Meteor... huh."

The ultimate prey.

Someday, I want to put a bullet through her head.
