The Journey of Akasha

As they continued through the city of Kel the trio visited many stores. Although they didn't buy anything they still wanted to show Akasha around. After walking around for some time Akasha came to realize a few things. 

He noticed all the buildings on the ground are stores or something similar to that nature. When they were walking around, he didn't see not one sect or any sort of faction. The girls then told him most of the sects in the central continent are up on the floating islands. 

Currently the three where still walking on the side passing up the stores. They had a month to explore so they weren't in much of a rush. As they entered an Alchemy shop Raven asked him

"You're interested in Alchemy?" 

Hearing this Akasha smiled and shook his head while saying

"No not exactly. I just want to see what kind of pills are being sold. That way I will know what resources could help us in the future." 

"That does make sense. Now that I think about we never received our resources from the Academy." Elara said 

"Well, that probably have something to do with Liora. She probably forgot or something." Akasha said as they made their way to the counter. 

At the counter was a middle-aged man. When he noticed the trio coming up to him, he flashed a slight smile before saying.

"Welcome. How can I help you three?" 

Akasha flashed a friendly smile back and spoke

"I actually wanted to see the list of pills you have in stock. There's not anything I'm looking for specifically, I just wanted to learn more about cultivation resources.".

"Eh? Aren't you already a cultivator? How can you not know about cultivation resources?" The man asked while he turned to find the list. 

"Well, it's a bit complicated. I have pretty good talent and didn't need resources until recently." Akasha said simply.

He was literally making up bullshit. 

The man nodded as he turned around. He handed Akasha a small booklet made of cloth. He then spoke 

"Take all the time you need." 

As he said this, he took a seat in the chair behind the counter and closed his eyes. 

Akasha nodded then looked at some of the listed items. 

[Talent Enhancement Pill]

[Enlightenment Pill]

[Berserker Pill]

[Bloodline Purity Pill]

[Healing Pill]

[Mana Replenishment Pill]

[Soul Healing Pill]

[Bone Tempering Pill]

[Skin Refinement Pill]

[Mana Gathering Pill]

The list went on and on. Akasha flipped through each and every page before placing it down on the counter. He then looked at the middle-aged man and asked

"Are you an Alchemist?" As he asked this question, he appraised the guy.

The man now known as Kent opened his eyes and looked at Akasha. He stood up and grabbed the booklet then put it back in its original place. He returned to counter and once again looked at the trio before he nodded. 

"Yes, something like that. I was once a student at The Academy, but things happened and now here I am." Kent said

Hearing this Akasha pondered a bit before saying

"Hmm? Do you plan to live the rest of your life here?" It was an odd question to ask. Especially to someone who you met for the first time. But that's the kind of person Akasha is, he won't beat around the bush. He will speak his thought and live with the results.

"Eh? What do you mean? My life is not bad by any means." Kent said a bit confused. He wasn't a beggar or anything, he had the best Alchemy shop in the entire city!

"Look. I need an Alchemist to work with me. I will pay you double whatever you make here. This is not something I'm doing on a whim either. I have plans... big plans that I would rather not mention right now. So, what do you think?"

'Double what I'm already making? Is this kid joking me right now?' Kent thought. He looked at the two women by the side of Akasha and they looked just as serious as he did. Seeing this he sighed and spoke

"My annual salary here is about 5 million mana stones. If you can pay me double then I will gladly join you, but it's a few things we must get clear. 

I won't make pills for any nefarious deeds, and you will also provide all the materials for the process."

 Akasha smiled hearing this then he said 

"Haha good! Just give me a moment." 

'...Cough hey my dear luna~ you see, I know that I should have infinite currency, but... how do I access it?' He said in a slightly awkward voice. He thought this should be something he already knew, but he never had the opportunity to pay for anything!

Early when they ate at the restaurant the girls offered to pay and he allowed them to. Now he wanted to pay Kent he needed to use his own funds. 

[Pffft! Hahaha is that why you didn't buy anything earlier? You should've asked earlier dear. Your currency is connected to your system. You simply have to think of an amount, and it will enter your inventory.] Luna was having a good laugh at Akasha. 

Earlier when they visited stores they didn't buy anything mainly because the girls didn't see anything they liked. But Akasha, he didn't know how to access his currency either. 

Hearing this Akasha sighed and mentally facepalmed. He then put 100 million mana stones into his inventory. Just as he was about to remove them, he said 

'Wait! Won't it just fill the entire room up if I take them out? I don't have a storage ring or anything.'

[The system will handle it for you dear. You'll be fine.] Luna said

Akasha nodded then removed the mana stones from his inventory. When he did this a storage ring appeared in his hand. He was a bit surprised even though Luna told him it would be fine. 

He then tossed the ring to Kent who caught it. Kent grabbed the ring and looked inside of it and he was left dumbfounded. 

He stood still frozen with wide eyes. 

"Eh? What happened to him?" Raven asked seeing the man looking broken. 

"Yea what was in the ring?" Elara asked

"Just one hundred million mana stones." Akasha casually replied. 

"WHAT?!" Raven and Elara exclaimed. Their shouts woke Kent up from his daze and he turned his focus to Akasha. 

"Haha, well, I am a bit rich." Akasha said while laughing. 

"When do you need me to start?" Kent asked after gaining his composure.

Hearing this Akasha stop to think for a while. He then gave Kent a choice. 

"You can either come with us now or I will come and fetch you in about 5-10 years. When you come with us though it will be a while before you see many people again."

"Hmm, I will wait here then. My name is Kent Vex by the way." Kent replied after thinking. 

"Alright that's fine and I am Akasha. This is Raven and Elara two of my companions." Akasa briefly introduced themselves before saying one last thing

"Well, I will come and fetch you after my next cultivation session. Until take care of yourself Kent." 

After this the trio left and continued on their journey.
