Chapter 67: Step One? Time to leave!
While Akasha was inside the temple having a conversation with the three Primordial beings, someone else were also furthering their plans too. On the ground was a young man that was about 6 feet 10 inches. He had a burly build and long red hair that stopped at his shoulders.
This was Krax Alale
With the help of his system he was able to conceal himself and sneak away from the others. Right now he was making his way towards the Titans. He planned to get into a partnership with them and help with his revenge. While he was making his way he was talking to his system.
'System, how can I be sure that they will help me?'
[Host, they will most certainly agree because you are basically offering them a planet. For a High-level planet that's also independent, all the major factions would want the opportunity to subjugate it.]
'Wouldn't that make me a pawn for them though?' Krax asked as the last thing he wanted was to be under another person's rule again. He wanted to be a ruler himself!
[Host, although it may seem that way you must remember you have me. You will progress through the ranks faster than any of your peers. Getting close to the Titan race will give you the opportunity to learn more about the world. There is much out there that you have yet to see.]
'Fine.' Krax grumbled internally. As he approached the titans he spotted Braxus and about 8 other Titans behind him. Of all the Titans Braxus was the biggest, he was only about a inch or two taller than Krax.
When Krax was close enough he deactivated his concealment. The moment he did Braxus eyes flashed opened and looked directly at him. When Braxus saw Krax and flash of confusion passed through his eyes.
He could clearly see that Krax was a pureblooded Titan, but it wasn't one who entered who entered with him and the others. So, he asked calmly
"Who are you?"
Hearing this Krax smiled internally
'This will be much easier than I thought.' After this short thought he spoke out.
"My name is Krax Alale. A Titan as you can see." He replied back in a voice that was neither too friendly nor too on guard.
"Alale? I've never heard of that last name before. Where did you come from?" Braxus asked as he observed Krax closely.
"I'm a Titan not from where you come from, but from a planet called Kalpa. This one of the reasons I approached you. Recently I learned about 50,000 years ago my Ancestors tried to unite our Titan race with the Titans in the wider Galaxy.
Due to reasons I'm not entirely sure of, the plan failed, and we Titans were nearly eradicated from Planet Kalpa. However, we were able to survive and rebuild our strength after so many years. Now with the opportunity I would like to once again attempt to achieve what my ancestors failed to do." As Krax finished his words he did something he hated to his core.
He knelt down in front of Braxus.
'Fuck!!! The reward better be worth it.' He thought before he continued.
"I would like to offer the subjugation of Kalpa! With us working from the inside of Kalpa and you all providing support from the outside I believe it will be a minor thing to take hold of this planet. On behalf of the Titans from Kalpa I pledge fealty to the Imperial Titans"
Hearing all of this Braxus had a face on contemplation. He was the second Prince of the Titans so of course he heard of the other Titans somewhere in the Galaxy. But the opportunity never presented itself for them to subjugate the Planet.
But now?
"Hahaha good! This is amazing news!" Braxus laughed out loud while he pulled out a token from his storage ring.
"This is a communication artifact, you can use it to contact me and provide updates. As you know the Supreme Golden Age will soon take effect. We have about 500 years before things get rough. It will be at that time when we take action.
For now continue doing as you do normally. Build intel on the major forces and anything worth telling. Until then just wait on the signal." Braxus said as he gave the token to Krax.
Hearing Braxus, Krax simply nodded and put away the token before leaving. As he left he heard his system
*Ding*
[Task Completed - Reward 1 minor rank]
"Heh, that's indeed worth it." He said while grinning then he silently made his way back to his group after reactivating his concealment.
------
Outside the temple Akasha's group and the old man were still waiting. They had only been waiting for Akasha for about five minutes. They all heard Akasha say it won't take long, but still Raven and Elara were still a bit worried.
"How long do you think he will take?" Raven asked the Old man.
"Well, he'll be lucky to walkout ali----" The Old man was saying until he heard the gate creak.
*creak*
When the gate opened out of it came Akasha. He looked the same way he went it. His robes untouched, his hair still smooth, it looked nothing like what they expected to see. Seeing his group members all gathered here still waiting. Akasha smiled while waving slightly
"Yo, I wasn't gone too long, was I?" He asked casually as he approached Raven and Elara to give them hugs.
"Too long? Brother, you were only gone five minutes. Weren't it's supposed to be a test or something dangerous?" Jovian asked from the side as he watched the love bird's hug.
"Yea, are you alright?" Elara asked as she stopped hugging him for a second.
"Haha, yea I'm fine. Nothing much happened I just walked in a got the inheritance." As he said this, he turned his head to Lyria and gave her the scroll.
"This is the 'Elven Ode to Life'. To be honest I'm not sure what is, but apparently you will know once you open it. But I advise you to wait until we leave."
Seeing the ancient scroll Lyria heart started to pound. It was if every fiber of her being was screaming at her to open the scroll. But when she heard Akasha's words, she suppressed those feeling and nodded to him while saying
"T-thank you Akasha." As she said this her face was beet red.
"So cute!" Akasha said unconsciously as he saw Lyria's face. Hearing this she blushed even more and turned her head away.
"Hehe she is indeed cute." Raven added on
Off to the side the Old man was still looking at Akasha like he couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was if he was seeing a living ghost or something.
"How did you do it?" He asked Akasha simply.
"Hmm? Do what?" Akasha asked back with his eyebrows raised.
"How did you come out alive? The pressure inside of the temple is enough to crush you 100 times over!" He exclaimed.
"Oh that? Well, let's just say pressure doesn't affect me. But anyways how do we leave this secret realm? Waiting here another month or two would be a real bore." Akasha said casually.
".... I can send you out." The old man said as he still didn't believe Akasha one bit.
'He must have some sort of artifact. But that should be useless inside the temple...." He was thinking internally before he heard Akasha speak again.
"Great! Send us out now, I have some business to handle. You can send out those four guys hiding in the clouds too." Akasha said to the old man before looking at Yonna Blaze and Crystalyn Frostfire.
"Well, this is goodbye for now ladies. We will surely meet again so don't forget about my handsome face, okay?" The guy was becoming more and more shameless.
After those words the nine of them from Kalpa were all sent out.
When they left Yonna and Crystalyn silently looked at the spot he disappeared from. Each of them thinking different things.
