Chapter 29: Killing and Stealing
Now after solving his one problem , He had another task on his hand which was to get money and what was the easiest method to get hands on money , it was to steal.
But from where, it was again an easy question , steal the dirty money from people who not will be able to file a police complaint.
After having a fix target he again started moving with a cold smile on his face .
The neon lights of Qingshan City flickered in the distance as Ye Feng stood at the entrance of an abandoned warehouse. The air was thick with the stench of sweat, blood, and cigarette smoke. This was the hideout of the Black Vultures, an underground gang notorious for drug trafficking, illegal gambling, and money laundering.
More importantly, it was where Ye Feng would find what he needed—cash.
The assassin had no time for side jobs or slow earnings. He needed money fast, and in his world, the fastest way to make money was to take it from those who didn't deserve to keep it.
Tonight, the Black Vultures would lose everything.
Ye Feng moved like a ghost through the alley, his footsteps silent against the pavement. Two guards stood outside the warehouse entrance, laughing over some crude joke.
In a blur of motion, Ye Feng lunged forward, his knife flashing under the dim light. One clean slice to the throat silenced the first guard before he even realized what was happening. The second tried to react, reaching for his gun—too slow. Ye Feng's hand shot out, gripping his wrist and twisting it at an unnatural angle. A muffled scream. A sharp snap. The gun clattered to the ground.
With a final strike to the temple, the second guard collapsed, unconscious.
Two down. More to go.
Ye Feng dragged their bodies into the shadows before slipping inside.
The Assault Began.
The interior of the warehouse was dimly lit, illuminated by hanging bulbs swaying slightly from the ceiling. A dozen gang members sat around a poker table, stacks of cash piled high between them. Others loitered near crates filled with illegal goods, laughing and drinking.
None of them noticed the silent shadow above them.
Perched on a metal beam, Ye Feng studied their movements. He counted 15 men. Some were armed, others distracted. Sloppy. Overconfident. Easy.
He dropped down, landing soundlessly behind the nearest thug. Before the man could react, Ye Feng's arm wrapped around his neck, cutting off his air. A few seconds later, he went limp.
The next target barely had time to register what was happening before a throwing knife lodged into his throat.
Then—chaos.
A gunshot rang out as one of the gangsters spotted Ye Feng.
"Intruder! Kill him!"
Too late.
Ye Feng moved like a storm, weaving between enemies with lethal precision. His blade sliced through flesh, his movements too fast for them to react. A man lunged at him with a crowbar—Ye Feng ducked, driving his knife into the attacker's ribs before twisting it cruelly.
Another rushed at him, firing wildly. Ye Feng sidestepped, catching the man's wrist and forcing him to turn the gun on his own ally. A squeeze of the trigger. A scream. Two men down.
The remaining gangsters hesitated.
Ye Feng smirked, blood dripping from his blade. Fear. He could smell it.
"Y-You… who the hell are you?" one of them stammered.
Ye Feng tilted his head. "You won't live long enough to care."
With a flick of his wrist, a second throwing knife buried itself into the man's forehead.
The last three panicked. One tried to run—Ye Feng caught him by the collar, slamming him into a crate hard enough to shatter wood. Another raised his hands in surrender, only to receive a boot to the chest that sent him crashing into a pile of metal pipes.
The final gangster fumbled for his gun with shaking hands. Ye Feng kicked the weapon away, grabbed the man by the throat, and slammed him onto the poker table. The cash scattered to the floor like fallen leaves.
"Please," the gangster gasped. "I—I'll give you whatever you want!"
Ye Feng leaned in, his voice calm, almost amused. "That's the first smart thing you've said all night."
He grabbed the nearest duffel bag and began stuffing it with cash. Bundles of dirty money, stolen and stained with blood was now his.
He turned back to the gangster, who lay trembling on the table. "I suggest you find another career."
The man nodded frantically.
Ye Feng looked at him while thinking something , a small smile formed on his face but for tha gangster it was devilish, he felt a chill down his spine .
Ye Feng with a sudden strike plunged a knife in his neck, the gangster was horrified and his eyes were wide open in his final moment, his last thoughts, "why Ye Feng changed his decision of sparring him ".
But for Ye Feng it was just a question of avoiding future trouble, taking another life it was insignificant to him.
"Well, choose another career in your next life"he said with the same smile while looking at the dead body.
Then, just as silently as he had arrived, he vanished into the night.
Behind him, the warehouse was nothing but a graveyard.
And in his hands, enough money to disappear.
Ye Feng went back home ,washed himself and then went back to sleep.
His next goal was to prepare for university exams but he can't go to school as it may alert unwanted people. So he bought the books required and started his preparation , he only had 3 months.
He also had another target in his mind that was Su Meng, he knew that the assassination on him was arranged by him , as he was thinking a cruel smile was formed on hi face.
"Su Meng , you are allowed 3 more months , enjoy as much as you want , i will soon come to reap your life".
Ye Feng's presence was like of a ghost no one knew that he came back except Tang Wei, but he was not going to anger him, who wants a grim reaper behind his back.
After 3 days Ye Feng went back to Tang Wei's house and assured that everything was done as he wanted .
After he left Tang Wei breathed a sigh of relief , he did not wanted to see him again in his life.
Everything was in place Ye Feng prepared for 3 months , it was enough for him as most of the Subjects like mathematics , english, geography , science and technology he already knew things , only two subjects politics and history he had to make preparations.
