The Hero of Hypnosis

The knight stepped back, clutching his wrist. He was thankful that it didn't break, but he was more shocked that his sword broke instead.

"Do you want to have a proper conversation now that your sword is broken?" Kai asked, giving the knight a chance to live.

If the knight was as skilled and expierenced as Kai expected him to be, then the knight would back down, knowing that he would lose the fight. The knight gave his answer by taking out two daggers, getting into a fighting stance.

"Ahh, that's right. I forgot about that. The one thing people would die for, even if they know they're outclassed. Undying Loyalty. Fine, come at me." Kai gestured with his fingers, telling the knight to make his move.

Where the knight once stood, a blue appeared, and the man ended up behind Kai. One dagger shattered as he tried to stab Kai's neck, so he went for a more vulnerable spot, his eyes.

Kai stood still, not even caring to make a move. He allowed the knight to try every way he could think of to kill him, only for them to fail. When the dagger was thrusted into his eye, the blade shattered like the other two had before.

Brandon, Aaron, and the wife were left speechless. That knight was the most powerful their family had. He was not only a superpower but one of the strongest. He killed demons and demonic beasts with ease when the demon king set the monsters loose, but now, he was getting bullied by someone who wasn't even doing anything.

"You done now?" Kai asked.

"No."

"He speaks!" Kai was ammused, but the knight was not.

"My lord, I apologize for the mess I'm about to make."

"I don't care! Just kill that bastard!"

The knight charged up all his power into his right hand. His arm turned into metal, and flames wrapped around it, dancing violently. Finally, lightning crackled chaotically around his arm, the sheer power making the air go thin.

"Whoa! That's so cool! Nadya, write that down! I need to copy that once we go back home."

Nadya did not write that down.

"Time to die." The knight charged at Kai, but at the last second, shifted his direction and went toward Nadya instead. If he couldn't harm Kai, then he would harm the women around him.

But that was his greatest mistake.

Kai's women were not weak. No, they were strong as fuck. Not only that, but Kai made sure to have layers of protection around them so their lives wouldn't be in any danger.

So when the knight charged at Nadya, she caught his fist, twisted his arm, breaking it. Tripped him so he fell to the ground, then stomped on his neck, decapitating him.

"She's a healer by the way." Kai just wanted to point that out.

"N-Nadya? Nadya Valenmore?" Aaron asked. He knew who she was; how could he not? His family was the cause of her family's destruction.

"Y-You! You should have been sold into slavery! You should have been someone's bitch by now! A plaything! A toy!" This came from the wife of Brandon. Her body was shaking with fury.

"I was. But fortunately, he bought me before some pig could."

"So what do you want? Revenge? Justice? Your family is dead, and you're no longer a noble. If you try to kill us, you'll be hunted down for the rest of your life!" Brandon was scared. He was a mage, but he wasn't nearly as strong as Nadya.

She had just killed his best knight with ease, something he couldn't do. So instead of fighting her with strength, he would do so with words while using his status as a Duke.

"Kai." Nadya nudged him.

"Hmm? Oh, right." Kai held out his hand, and nothing happened. He was given confusing looks, but he told them to hold on.

"Any minute now. Aha! Here it is!" Blasting through the window was the hero's sword that flew directly into his hand.

"As I was saying earlier, my name is Kai LuForia, the hero of Gracia. And Nadya, she's my wife."

To say the three of them were shocked was an understatement. Words couldn't form in their throats, their minds scambled to find something to say or do, and the threats Brandon gave were now thrown out the window, not that they would stop Kai and Nadya anyway.

"H-Hero?! Y-You're the hero?!" Aaron now understood how Kai could deal with that demon who attacked them at school.

"P-Please forgive us! We didn't know you were the hero." Brandon and his wife fell to their knees.

"Hey, Emerald, you can take Aaron and beat him up by the way."

"Ha, I was waiting for this moment. Let's go, pretty boy!" Emerald grabbed Aaron's head and threw him out the window, following him outside to beat the guy to a pulp.

"I met your other kids." Kai brought the three of them out of the pocket dimension. "Lovely people."

"Dad!"

"Daddy! Help us!"

"Father!"

"No! Please don't hurt my kids! I beg you! Take me, no take my wife! You can use her as you please!"

The wife was stunned. She didn't expect her husband to sell her out. "Brandon!"

"Pwahahahaha! Nadya, do you see this? He's selling out his own wife because he doesn't want to die. What a loser."

"You killed my father and brothers, put their heads on a spike, and destroyed my home! You killed my servants, my friends, made my mother take her own life, and sold me into slavery! You think your fucking wife is enough to pay for your sins? To quell my anger?!"

Nadya's mana exploded from her anger. The room was destroyed, and even the roof was blown off. Magic surged all around her, and even her eyes began to glow as she floated in the air.

"I've never seen her so angry before." Kai felt bad for her, but he knew that she would feel better after this moment. While her revenge would never fill the void in her heart, she would rest easy knowing that her family had been avenged.

"Please! Please! I'm sorry!" Brandon begged, crying hysterically.

"This is what I think of your apology." She clenched her fists, and the heads of Brandon's family exploded.
