The Hakuryuukou The Strongest DxD

Chapter 19: Chapter 19- Rescue

Walking through the grand house of the Youkai Leader, Cao Cao followed Yasaka as she led him to a room.

The Nine-Tailed Fox, at Amaterasu's request, was tasked with keeping the young man safe until Alexandre returned, and without minding it, the descendant of the Chinese Warlord accepted calmly.

"I have a question."

Hearing Cao Cao's words, Yasaka glanced at him with a smile, her expression curious.

"What would you like to know?"

"What's your relationship with Alex?"

Cao Cao knew there were some feelings involved, especially on Yasaka's part, but he couldn't quite decipher everything.

"With Alex?" Yasaka said, and Cao Cao nodded. "Hmmm… if I had to say… we're unofficial lovers!" Yasaka announced.

"Could you elaborate?"

"I know he has some romantic feelings for me. I share those same feelings and can admit it proudly. But I'd like to keep it a secret from the public… because, you know, he's human, and I'm the leader of the Youkai Faction. If you heard that the leader of the Youkai Faction fell in love with a human, well, I'm sure you can guess how the world would react."

Cao Cao was at a loss for words, to say the least. The leader of the Youkai Faction fell in love with a human, even if that human was powerful and a Longinus wielder. Humans were still the laughingstock of all creatures.

"How?"

"How did I fall in love with him?" Yasaka clarified his question, and he nodded. "Well… I'll spare the details for another day. But if you saw that statue of him, then I think you have a good idea of why. And besides, Kunou sees him as a great fraternal, almost paternal figure."

Cao Cao fell silent, processing the information he had just heard.

"Anything else?" Yasaka said.

"You love Alex even knowing he's not the most…"

"Faithful?" Yasaka smiled as Cao Cao nodded slightly. "I don't care about that, as long as he has a space in his heart for me, that's enough."

"Besides, I'm sure Lady Amaterasu feels the same."

"I don't know, she seemed to want to incinerate Alex," Cao Cao replied doubtfully.

Yasaka only laughed lightly.

"Lady Amaterasu fell in love with Alexandre, but this is a new feeling for her, the first time in her immortal life that she's loved someone, so she doesn't know what to do with that feeling."

"That's why it's a bit extreme. Because she was betrayed by Alex, Lady Amaterasu holds a grudge, but she can't truly hate him because she loves him too much."

"When Alexandre left, Lady Amaterasu locked herself in her room for days and burned anyone who came near."

The image of the perfect leader that Cao Cao had built of Amaterasu slowly crumbled and turned into that of a sulky, depressed goddess who could incinerate an entire country.

"It took a lot of time to get her back to how she was before. And despite all the barriers she's built, I'm sure Alexandre could break them in an instant."

While listening to Yasaka's words, although Cao Cao felt pity for the Sun Goddess and was angry at how his brother could do something like that, he knew Alexandre must have had his reasons.

Despite everything, the Hakuryuukou cared deeply for the people he loved, especially the women.

The thought of all the women Alexandre had been involved with gathering in one place sent a shiver down the spine of the True Longinus wielder.

Most were extremely jealous and volatile, possessing overwhelming powers.

He really hoped that day would never come.

.

.

.

Observing humanity was one of her favorite pastimes.

As the radiant Sun that brought light to all, she took pleasure in watching all humans and their potential.

But despite the long millennia, no human had caught her attention—until that day.

She saw a boy descended from one of the Five Great Clans that worshipped her and the other gods.

But he and his brother were exiled for being born with power.

One possessed the power of a Heavenly Dragon, and the other of a False God, capable of performing the forbidden move.

Their god-killing weapons were taken to the extreme at the moment of their wielders' birth.

The number of reports of this since that God created his artifacts could be counted on one hand, most drowning in their power before even reaching adulthood.

But not them. While one had his power sealed, the other fully controlled it.

How terrifying to think, how frightening those children would become.

With the younger living unaware of his power, and the older taken to the other side of the world, out of her sight, the goddess resigned herself to her usual days.

Years passed, and she found him again. He was still a child by her standards, but he had grown with overwhelming power.

Something in him sparked her curiosity, something about him drew her in, like a moth to a flame.

What irony, that she, the Sun itself, would be drawn to another flame.

That boy had an unnatural affinity for fire and wielded the Sword of the Sun. He had an abnormal affinity with her.

Since her birth, she had cared for her faction at her father's request, being the Sun that guided all. She resigned herself to dedicating her immortal life to caring for her faction's members.

But then, for the first time, she decided to give in to a selfish desire, and driven by her curiosity, she went to the boy.

She presented herself as a mere mortal who knew of the supernatural world, but thinking back to that time, she still believed he probably knew who she was from the first moment.

The times she spent with him were the best of her long life, those days when it was just him and her.

She truly wished those good days would never end.

The more time she spent with him, the more she felt the need to be by his side.

Being by his side gave her a warm comfort she had never felt before, and being away from him made even her, the radiant Sun, feel like she was in the shadowy depths of Yomi.

She wanted more and more to be by his side, even abandoning her duties as a leader.

That warmth she felt when near him, that fire.

It wasn't the flames that burned everyone, nor the devastating fire of her Sun that consumed everything.

It was a radiant light that warmed her from within, enveloping her in that sweet feeling.

When she finally decided to take a step forward, she discovered what it was.

When, for the first time in her life, she allowed a man to touch her.

When those radiant golden eyes focused on her dark eyes.

When their bodies finally intertwined and became one, she realized.

That sweet feeling, the most powerful and radiant—Love.

When those golden eyes, also filled with love—something she knew wasn't pretense due to her lifetime of experience—looked at her…

She had truly experienced what love was for the first time that night.

When she woke up the next day, her body aching in a good way, having been taken to the heavens by that wonderful man.

She didn't find her partner in bed, but still surrounded by that sweet feeling, she didn't mind.

Maybe he had gone to make coffee to bring to her in bed? She blushed that day like a lovesick schoolgirl at the thought.

Wanting to see her beloved again, she waited patiently.

Minutes turned into hours, and when he never came, she decided to look for him.

The thought of her father or one of her brothers finding her beloved and attacking him, thinking he had seduced her, filled her with fear.

But when she reached the end of his trail, what she saw was something she would never forget.

The great altar where her three Treasures once stood, now empty, and at its base, a letter.

A letter speaking of the 'borrowing' of her treasures, signed with the name of the man she thought was destined for her.

In the end, the fool was her, who let herself be deceived.

But those feelings she had seen in those golden eyes couldn't be fake; no one could have such eyes with fabricated feelings…

That day, the Sun that shone with joy became the incarnation of a flame seeking to incinerate everything in its path.

Two radiant amethyst eyes opened to the world as the pink-haired woman looked at the shrine around her.

The teacup in her hand had its liquid evaporated by the heat emanating from her body, and the cup itself shattered a second later.

"What an unpleasant memory."

An audible grumble as the amethyst eyes focused on moments from the past.

Seeing that man again brought back feelings she thought she had buried deep.

But when those golden eyes locked onto hers, the same feelings she had when their eyes connected in that sweet moment returned.

Even trying to hate him, she couldn't suppress that gentle fire burning within her.

The desire to be with that man again.

"What a nuisance…"

Underworld.

This was one of the places Alexandre didn't feel comfortable visiting.

Normally, dark areas or realms like these wouldn't affect him if he activated his sacred powers to protect himself from the corrupted energy.

But now he was on a mission to check on the Youkai clan living here, and if he used his sacred powers, he'd stand out, which was something he had to avoid at all costs because he needed to complete this mission without alerting the demons.

Alexandre sighed for the umpteenth time. "The shit I do for women."

[*Alex, we all know your real goal is to sleep with someone.*]

"Albion, pay attention to something. As an old saying goes, everything in life depends on how much you want to sleep with someone."

"You work to sleep with someone, you study to sleep with someone."

"You accept a suicide mission where you might face four Maous, two of whom are among the Strongest Existences, to sleep with someone," Regulus mocked.

"See, Regulus gets the point."

While Alex nodded to himself, the Dragon and the Lion decided to stay silent. Honestly, Alexandre was a lost cause.

Alex took out a note and read it again. It was about the Nekoshou clan, a special type of Nekomata considered the strongest among their species.

He simply couldn't find a reason why such a strong clan would choose to live in the Underworld of all places.

A grumpy Alex put the note back in his pocket. He didn't like doing reconnaissance or stealth missions because he knew he wasn't really good at them, being more of a guy who blows everything up and asks questions later.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a series of explosions nearby.

Without thinking twice, he ran toward them. And what he saw when he got there stopped him in his tracks.

A horde of demons, all armed and ready for battle, surrounded a girl.

But what really surprised Alex wasn't the scene in front of him, but seeing who the girl was—a Nekoshou.

Alexandre really didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Okay, I have to handle this very carefully." Alexandre took a deep breath and coughed loudly to get their attention. He immediately regretted it as, within seconds, half the demons were on him. "Damn it! I didn't even open my mouth!" He jumped back to create some distance between them.

Alex hoped he could talk them out of it, but he highly doubted it.

He was always much more persuasive with women, not so much with men.

"You must be a rogue demon. Defeat him, or we'll kill you too," one of the demons barked at him, seemingly the leader of the group.

Before Alex could say a word, his eyes met the girl's.

He remembered something his best friend always told him: if you looked into someone's eyes, sometimes you could see their soul.

It was at that moment that Alexandre understood what he really meant. Because the moment his eyes met hers, Alex saw—helplessness, despair, and the desire to be saved.

"This is going to be a really stupid decision, but…"

So Alex did what he knew he had to do; he stretched out his arm and summoned his Holy Sword—Arondight.

The moment it appeared, every demon was shocked and instinctively took a few steps back.

Alex couldn't blame them, as their reaction was expected upon feeling the dense amount of sacred energy leaking from the sword.

Alex let out a small sigh and looked at the frightened demons. They instantly knew what was about to happen.

Unfortunately for them, they weren't fast enough.

"Onigari-Ryuu Style - Gotamashiki."

His hand blurred as the deadly strikes of his holy weapon descended upon the frightened and unprepared demons. They didn't have time to scream, let alone dodge, as they ceased to exist in mere seconds.

Alex looked around to make sure all the demons were dead, and then his eyes met the girl's, who flinched under his gaze.

"Now, how to do this?" Alexandre dismissed his sword and raised both hands. "I come in peace."

The girl blinked, looked around at the destroyed surroundings caused by him, and then back at him.

"Fuck it." Alex ran his fingers through his hair. "Okay, look, I'll be honest here. I was sent here by Yasaka to check on the Nekoshou. And for some reason, I have a feeling something went horribly wrong. Would you mind telling me what happened?"

The girl relaxed but still didn't lower her guard. "You'll help us?"

Alex didn't miss the urgent tone in her voice.

"Didn't I just do that?" He pointed to their surroundings.

"Then, please, follow me. We can still save the rest."

The desperation in her voice made Alex tense. He knew something was wrong, and now he was going to find out how bad it was.

Along the way to the clan's village, Alex asked the girl what was happening.

He needed to know what was coming and what he could do.

The girl was reluctant at first, but she soon opened up, explaining how, after losing her parents, she and her sister were taken by a demon who reincarnated her as his [Bishop].

While serving the demon, she became extremely powerful, surpassing even her own master, which became her downfall.

To keep her in line, her master threatened her with her sister's life and came close to harming her. In a fit of rage, she attacked her master, and things escalated; she was forced to kill him.

Now she was marked as a rogue demon, while many other demons began hunting the rest of the Nekoshou.

Alex found this story strangely familiar but brushed it aside.

It didn't take long for them to reach the village, or what was left of it.

Now, Alex was no stranger to battle or what comes after.

Even so, he would never forget what he saw there.

The demons weren't killing the Nekoshou in a sense of justice—oh no, they were killing them just for fun.

They were slaughtering the elderly and children ferociously as if they were dirt. Some even pinned down girls with sharp weapons stabbed into their limbs.

And they raped them, laughing as they did it. Some Nekoshou gathered and formed a defensive line to protect the weak. The demons circling the group taunted them, knowing full well there was no hope for the cat-women.

*Badump.*

He didn't scream, even as his eyes filled with rage at what he saw.

*Badump.*

He simply raised both hands and brought them together, creating a small sphere of light. Immediately, the entire village was covered with a thick sacred aura, causing everyone's heads to turn toward him.

Then he closed his hands, crushing the sphere of light.

"Fairy Law."

A sacred light enveloped Alex, and within seconds, it expanded, soon covering the entire village.

The hunters now became the hunted.

The moment the light touched the demons, they were burned from the inside, screaming and trying to counterattack, but none of their powers worked.

The fire didn't burn them instantly because it was meant to give them a slow, agonizing death.

But it worked differently for the Nekoshou. Those who were injured or exhausted were rejuvenated, though the light couldn't do anything for those who had already died. It healed their bodies as a means of giving them a proper burial later.

A modified version of one of the Three Great Magics of the Fairy Tail Guild—[Fairy Law], the Law of the Fairies.

A brilliant sacred light magic that envelops the area and inflicts heavy damage on those the user's heart considers an enemy, leaving friends and bystanders completely unharmed. The choice between friend and foe is decided by the user's heart, and they cannot lie to this magic.

Modified by Alexandre, this magic caused a slow, painful death to enemies while healing allies.

Alex watched with cold eyes as the demons' screams slowly died out. Some of the stronger ones even tried to flee but couldn't escape. Some tried to attack Alex, but their attempts were futile. He made sure every demon was burned slowly before releasing his technique.

It was a ruthless move, but even someone like him knew monsters like that didn't deserve a shred of mercy.

It was over in a few minutes. Alex took a deep breath. The light created a barrier to prevent anyone else from noticing the intense sacred aura the place emitted, but he was sure more demons would come soon when they couldn't contact these demons.

Alexandre began rubbing his forehead; he wasn't clueless about what to do next.

It was just that he knew this would all go to hell when Yasaka and Amaterasu found out what happened here.

And it would still fall on him.

"Albion, remind me again, why did I take this job?"

[*Because you wanted to score some points with Amaterasu and regain her trust, and sleep with Yasaka,*] the Dragon replied helpfully.

"You actually want to sleep with both of them," Regulus added.

"Is it really worth it…?"

Soon, a mental image of Yasaka and Amaterasu naked on a bed with beautiful smiles, beckoning him to join them, appeared in his mind.

"Totally worth it!!"

Alexandre's determination quickly returned in full.

But before Alex could do anything, some Nekoshou attacked the stunned girl beside him and would have hit her if Alex hadn't protected her in time.

Seeing Alexandre with his oppressive aura and summoning his sword in hand, they whimpered in submission and backed away.

"Why is that girl here?" a woman shouted from the back.

"It's because of you that this happened. Why did my family have to die because of you?" another girl yelled angrily.

Alex didn't need to be a genius to see where this was going.

But he was, just for the record.

"Calm down." Alex lightly tapped the tip of his sword on the ground with a thud.

Immediately, the entire area fell silent.

"Works like a charm."

All the Nekoshou were looking at Alex with admiration and respect, though some still had a trace of fear in them.

And Alex couldn't blame them. Taking a relaxed stance, Alex began to speak softly.

"I think introductions are in order. My name is Alexandre. I'm a mercenary, and before you ask, no, I'm not involved with any of the factions here. Yasaka and Amaterasu sent me to check on you, seeing as they couldn't send one of their own here."

With that introduction, Alexandre bowed his head slightly.

"I sincerely apologize for not arriving sooner; otherwise, I could have saved many more of you."

"It's not your fault, Lord Alexandre. If anyone should be punished, it should be her," a woman gritted her teeth as the rest nodded in agreement.

They looked at the girl beside him, their eyes showing nothing but pure hatred. She stayed silent the whole time, accepting all the lashes her kind were throwing at her.

"It wasn't her fault." Hearing this, she looked at Alex with wide eyes. Everyone else was surprised too. "All she did was protect her sister. And even you saw that the demons who attacked you didn't do it for justice—it was for pleasure. Her killing her demon master was just the excuse they needed."

All the Nekoshou calmed down a bit.

"And now?" another random Nekoshou asked.

"Now I'm sending all of you to Kyoto. Yasaka's people are there. Tell them I sent you and give them this. They'll take you straight to Yasaka."

With that, Alexandre gave them a pendant, something Yasaka had given him beforehand in case things went wrong.

"Also, take the deceased with you and give them a proper burial. And when you find Yasaka, please tell her exactly what happened here."

"Wait…" The girl beside Alexandre almost shouted.

"Don't worry, we'll save your sister after this." He smiled back in response. She was shocked, and so were the others.

"Besides, she won't go with you because I'm taking her and her sister with me to a safer place. So, rest assured, Yasaka will have no problem protecting all of you."

Everyone understood what Alexandre meant by that. With the main culprit absent, the demons couldn't demand anything from the Youkai Faction, and seeing as they started the unjust slaughter, they'd have to act carefully.

Alexandre slowly extended his hand, the purple mist of [Dimension Lost] surrounding all the Nekoshou before they all disappeared. In an instant, not a single soul remained in the village except for the girl and Alexandre.

"So, I don't know your name," Alexandre asked with a smile.

"It's Kuroka, nya~" She said with a gentle, though tired, smile, and she was extremely beautiful.

The Hakuryuukou blinked. That's why her story was familiar.

Well, what's said is said.

"Let's save your sister, then?"

.

.

.

.

.

It took many more hours to find Kuroka's sister than Alexandre expected, and it was only because of the chaos he caused, putting the entire Underworld on high alert.

The demons didn't know what happened, as there wasn't a trace of a single Nekoshou or the demons who went after them.

So, Alexandre had to pull some favors to get information on the whereabouts of Shirone, Kuroka's sister.

What they found out didn't please either of them. It seemed Shirone, who was in a heavily guarded prison, was to be taken to a prison stadium for public execution.

Kuroka almost ran to the prison, but somehow Alexandre managed to convince her not to.

As much as he wanted to go for a frontal assault, even he didn't dare attack a high-level Underworld prison when all the Maous were on high alert. So, he suggested an ambush, to strike fast and retreat quickly when they transported Shirone.

So here they were now, waiting to ambush the transport vehicles. They didn't have to wait long when they sensed the demons approaching.

Alex placed his hand on Kuroka's bare shoulder and whispered softly, "Calm down, we won't let anything happen to her."

He smiled when he felt Kuroka relax a bit; he was afraid the girl might have jumped and attacked abruptly. When they came within range, Alexandre stood up and extended his hands toward them.

"Light Magic: Beacon of Light."

The area where the demons were was immediately illuminated to the point of pure white, and that was Kuroka's cue. She attacked while the guards were all blinded and disoriented.

Alex was impressed by Kuroka's agile movements and cunning in battle, as this was the first time he was really seeing it.

Alex began walking toward the battlefield, but Kuroka finished everything before he even got there. He was glad it all went well, but he knew something was wrong.

Alexandre stopped for just a second to appreciate the sight before him. Kuroka was hugging Shirone, who was crying in her embrace.

"Nee-chan, nee-chan, you're really here!" The little girl was hugging her older sister with all her strength, refusing to let go.

"Of course, I promised, didn't I? That I'd always protect you, my little sister." Kuroka began to soothe Shirone, though her eyes shimmered with unshed tears.

The few seconds Alexandre gave the sisters to reconcile proved fatal.

From one of the destroyed carriages, an orange light began to emerge, and in a second, a person stepped out of the light.

Upon seeing him, Kuroka's face lost its color as she hugged Shirone tighter. And that confirmed Alexandre's suspicion; this was a trap to lure them.

Tightening her grip on Shirone, Kuroka jumped back and crouched behind Alex. But before she could say a word, Alexandre raised his arm, stopping her from saying anything.

Because he knew how important information could be, and he definitely didn't want to reveal anything to the person in front of him.

"Is it safe to assume you're Falbium Asmodeus?" Alexandre asked politely.

"Good that you know who I am. So, would you mind making this less troublesome and surrendering peacefully?" He said with a yawn.

"Can I ask you a question?" He shrugged, so Alex continued. "Do you know the real story behind Kuroka's actions? Not that bullshit."

He raised an eyebrow upon hearing Alex's question.

"So my assumption was correct. He did something stupid, didn't he?" Falbium asked Kuroka but didn't wait for her response. "Regardless, she has to be judged. There were other ways to resolve the issue besides killing her master."

"Really? Then why did those demons attack the innocent Nekoshou? If I hadn't intervened, those demons would have massacred them all, including the elders and children. Would they have been judged for their actions?"

His posture changed as he looked at Alex critically.

It was at that moment Alexandre realized he had messed up because he literally told the Maou that he was the one who killed all those demons.

"Even as a Satan, there are things even we can't control. But rest assured, she will be judged wisely."

An aura surrounded Falbium after he finished his words, an entirely orange aura of extreme potency, Falbium's unique ability called [Absolute Defense].

A defensive aura that could nullify all attacks below a certain level, even sacred attacks from Angels couldn't fully break through this barrier—the only ones capable of destroying it were the Super Devils Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beelzebub, and a few others like Grayfia Lucifuge and Rizevim Livan Lucifer.

Of course, sacred attacks from a Seraph like Michael could likely break the barrier, but Falbium could rebuild it easily.

With a snap of his fingers, Falbium summoned hundreds of demonic warriors who instantly surrounded Alexandre and the Nekoshou sisters.

He could summon hundreds of demonic knights equivalent to high-class demons, with some special knights as strong as Ultimate-class demons. His army was known as the [Demonic Spartan Army].

The frightening part wasn't the sheer number or raw power of this demon army but the mind of its summoner. With his superior army and strategic mind, Falbium could change the outcome of any battle in minutes.

That's why Falbium was chosen as one of the four great Satans.

A demonic army and absolute defense—though not on the level of Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beelzebub, the Super Devils, there was no doubt.

Falbium Asmodeus was also an anomaly among demons.

"So you can't control or judge your damn people while they slaughter an entire race just for fun, but you need to judge an older sister for protecting her younger sister?"

Alex took a deep breath; he had heard enough, seen enough. He looked at the sisters and wanted to say everything would be okay, but seeing the trust and happiness in Kuroka's eyes told him she already knew that.

A black mark appeared on his arm, growing to cover his entire body.

His golden eyes were replaced by a white that seemed to be on fire, his hair turned into white flames as an intense aura enveloped him, Alexandre's height increasing to two meters, two horns sprouting from his forehead as his body was wrapped in white flames.

The immense amount of energy flowing from Alex even made the great Satan step back.

Though his appearance was certainly demonic, the man before the Maou was undoubtedly human.

Moreover, those flames were something Falbium could feel as his natural enemy, flames that shone with a power even the 'Flame of God' Uriel didn't possess.

It was as if those flames existed to destroy the existence known as 'Demons.'

"Devil Force - Demon-Slaying Fire Mode!"

Radiating an overwhelming amount of destructive power, the flames surrounded Alexandre Ikuse as something manifested behind him.

Radiating an unnatural amount of sacred energy, an immense cross made of purple sacred flames appeared.

The purple flames blended fluidly with the white ones.

Seeing one of the Sacred Relics, the Cross of Holy Flames that incinerated even Gods, Falbium's eyes widened, and no matter how much he tried to hide it.

Alex could see a small hint of fear in the Satan's eyes.

"Incinerate Anthem…"

But the moment Alexandre's next words left his mouth, Falbium's fear was clearly visible to him.

"Balance Breaker."

.

.

.

.

.

At the stadium:

"So, what's your real plan, Sirzechs?" asked a beautiful girl with long black hair. Her violet eyes were focused on her friend beside her.

"Come on, Serafall, what makes you think that?" The red-haired Satan laughed weakly. Seeing her give him a knowing look, he sighed in defeat.

"I was planning to give the younger sister to Rias, but after the incident in the village, things might be a bit trickier." Sirzechs relaxed in his chair. "I hope Falbium knows what he's doing."

"What would you do if he caught the older sister?" Serafall asked sadly, being an older sister herself, she didn't like where this was going.

"I can't let her roam free after everything that happened. The least I can do is imprison her, but the council surely wants her dead." Sirzechs sighed deeply as he looked at Serafall. "I can only cover for one of them."

Whatever Serafall was about to say died in her throat when both felt an immense amount of unfiltered sacred energy.

Not a second later, the entire area trembled. They ran outside and saw huge white clouds gathering in one direction.

"Wasn't Falbium there?" Serafall asked and immediately went on high alert.

"Guards, stay here and protect the VIPs. Someone call Ajuka and tell him to head there." Sirzechs looked at Serafall, who nodded, and they instantly took off.

When they arrived at the scene, the white clouds had disappeared, but what they saw there shocked them deeply.

The legendary [Demonic Spartan Army] was around them, completely obliterated.

The entire area looked as if a massive battle had just taken place. They frantically searched for their friend in that wasteland and finally, their eyes landed on him.

Falbium was sitting defeated, though he had no serious injuries, he was unconscious.

His eyes were slightly open, and his head swayed from side to side.

Serafall quickly approached him, checking for internal injuries.

Sirzechs looked around the battlefield once more. He now knew that Kuroka wasn't alone, and whoever was with her had enough strength to completely defeat a Satan and possessed enough sacred energy to shake an entire region upon awakening.

He looked back at his friend and rubbed his forehead; things had gone from bad to worse.

.

.

All three dove headfirst into the pool. Alex immediately grabbed Kuroka by the waist and pulled her up, who in turn pulled Shirone and held her above the water. They started making cute whistling-like noises.

"I really need to work on my teleportation," Alex muttered to himself.

Slowly, he walked to the pool's edge and helped the sisters out.

After he got out of the water, he lay on his back, and before he realized what was happening, Kuroka lay on top of him.

Having such a hot, wet body on top of Alex was too much for his teenage mind. He gently grabbed her to move her aside, but it seemed today wasn't his lucky day.

"Well, luck was never on my side to begin with."

The lights turned on, and there stood two women he knew—the beautiful Youkai Queen and the Sun Goddess.

And seeing their expressions, he knew how upset they were with the scene.

"I can explain… I think."
