The Growth of a Titan in the Cultivation World

Chapter 165- What Happened to You?

"But wait a moment, there're eight people here! Who is the eighth person in this Formation Array if only seven of those Jeagal Clan Elders were trapped in this Dimension?"

Hean-Tae asked, and Mar-Dule frowned in thought. However, Sol suddenly chimed in to say.

"Perhaps it was someone who was with them when they were trapped in here. Little Abdu, did you see these people when they were here?"

"I don't remember how long ago they came here looking for treasures, all those years just lump together when I try. But I remember everyone who ever came here."

Little Abdu raised his paw and wiggled it towards the eight corpses.

Everyone watched in amazement as the eight corpses began to rise into the air before floating to the side.

"Release your Formation."

Sol did as Little Abdu asked and released his Heavenly Samsara Formation.

Little Abdu always had a bit of control over Su Moon's formation and Sol allowed him to still have that bit of control.

Little Abdu took control of the illusion aspect of the Formation and soon the corpses began to transform into their original appearance before they died.

Mar-Dule seeing this was almost salivating at the thought of having this Formation. It was too much for him to hold himself back from not bombarding Sol with questions about it and its creation. But that was a taboo not just in Rune Inscription but in any profession.

However, as Mar-Dule was salivating, one of the figures caught his attention. It was a man who looked to be in his late twenties. He was quite young compared to the other seven old men.

"Anyone knows who this person might be?"

Sol asked since he didn't know much about the Six Holy Sects and Five Great Clans.

It was obvious from the 'Wudang' character on his chest he was from the Wudang Sect, but was he someone significant?

However, everyone was silently pondering, they didn't seem to know.

Well, perhaps they were just wasting their time fooling around with forgotten people. They thought they would get some useful information by doing this, but maybe not.

"It's okay Little Abdu. We shouldn't be greedy and just focus on Immortal Shen's Palace."

Little Abdu didn't immediately dispel the illusion but said.

"He's the one I got that storage ring from."

"The Wudang Sect's Immortal Treasure?!"

Yoon-Jae asked in surprise. Mar-Dule and Heon-Tae had stunned expressions on their faces when they heard him, having been out of the loop.

"So, he's the one who owns those manuals. Funny, you would never expect this person to have such unique preferences."

Ji-Hoon offhandedly commented.

"No, this doesn't make sense though."

Yoon-Jae suddenly said, and everyone turned to look at him.

"Brother Yoon-Jae, what is it?"

Yoon-Jae turned to look at Sol with a confused expression before explaining.

"In the past, the Wudang Sect claimed the Immortal Treasure was lost after their Patriarch was killed by an Elder of the Kunlun Sect during a battle for resources in here. In those times, it wasn't uncommon for powerful cultivators like that to be assassinated on a whim. But this isn't the Patriarch of the Wudang Sect who was killed, he's someone unknown."

"Well, whoever he was, he was strong even with his cultivation sealed. He managed to kill everyone here at the time before forcing these seven people to teach him that Formation Array thingy."

Little Abdu said, and everyone was surprised.

"You know, this is not the first time something like this has happened."

Ji-Hoon wore a thoughtful expression as he said this.

"Are you talking about those rumors about the Wudang Sect?"

Heon-Tae asked as he turned to Ji-Hoon.

Ji-Hoon nodded before explaining to Sol, Yoon-Jae, and Mar-Dule.

"My father told me that during the war between the Forgotten Sect and the combined forces of the Six Holy Sects and Five Great Clans three hundred years ago, they were originally on equal footing until mysterious experts began appearing from the Wudang Sect. All the top experts in Jianghu were already established and well-known, but these people came out of nowhere. Each of them had power that was comparable to the strongest in Jianghu at the time. No matter what the Forgotten Sect tried, they could only be wiped out in the end."

After Ji-Hoon's explanation, everyone turned to look at this mysterious person.

From Sol's perspective, it seemed there were some secrets in the Wudang Sect.

But is that really out of the norm?

Not only the Wudang Sect, but all the top powers in Jianghu must have terrifying trump cards after being established for so long.

Little Abdu released the illusion, and Sol recalled his Heavenly Samsara Formation. The group then stepped onto the Teleportation Array before Sol made several hand seals to activate it.

With an extremely bright white flash, the five boys and two Divine Beasts were teleported away.

When they appeared at their destination, they immediately looked around to see what the environment was like, however, they didn't appear for a full second before they heard intense fighting.

They looked at each other before leaving the teleportation platform and rushing towards the sounds of fighting.

Since Ji-Hoon's Fourth Brother and Fifth Brother were here, did they perhaps run into a Spirit Beast?

Quickly, the group reached the last corner leading to the sound, but as they turned it, they were slightly startled by the sight.

The Pavilions that still looked new and intact were completely demolished, while large craters littered the roads.

In the midst of this chaos, two people were seen locked in battle. No, rather, it looked like one person was attacking madly while the other was desperately blocking and dodging.

"Youngest Brother, come to your senses!!"

Some distance away from the battle, a youth was seen on the ground clutching at his chest which was gushing blood like a fountain.

"Fifth Brother!"

Ji-Hoon immediately recognized this person's voice as his Fifth Brother.

The youth hearing his yell, turned to look in Ji-Hoon's direction with a shocked look.

"Eldest Brother, is that you?"

Ji-Hoon and the others immediately rush over, but the wounded youth suddenly cried out.

"No! Not me, go help Fourth Brother! He's being attacked by Youngest Brother! I think something is wrong with him!"

However, as soon as those words left his mouth, Sol suddenly appeared next to him and placed his palm on his chest to stabilize his injury.

The youth was surprised by his speed, but as he blinked Sol's figure suddenly disappeared.

The youth turned and saw that Sol had appeared in front of his Fourth Brother to block the person attacking him.

The person was a youth with a bedeviled appearance. His clothes were tattered and bloody, and his messy hair slightly covered his face. However, if one looked closely, his left eye looked like it had been forceful gouge out.

Most noticeable was the fact that he was missing an arm. However, even though he was merely attacking with his right hand but each of his swings carried power that could split a mountain in half.

'This person is Brother Ji-Hoon's Youngest Brother? What happened to him?'

"ARRRGGGHHH!!!"

SWOOSH!!!

Sol didn't have time to question this, as this youth suddenly released a crazed howl and attacked with his sword.

This attack was extremely terrifying in nature. As the sword approached, Sol felt a cold chill on his throat.

Despite being several meters away, the sword's aura was already here.

No, rather than this being the aura of the sword, it was Sword Intent! An extremely horrifying amount all condensed into one swing.

This was similar to Sol's method of condensing his strength into a single fist strike. However, even for him, he found it absurd that someone would attack continuously like that. So uncaring of the strain on their body or conserving energy. It was simple crazy.

"Damn it! Who attacks like this?!"

Sol cursed as he grabbed the youth next to him and took a step. He used his Heavenly Steps to its full limit and appeared eight meters away. Then on his second step he moved sixteen meters. By his fourth step, Sol was completely out of range of this crazed person's attack.

"Go!"

Sol yelled at the youth, who bowed towards him before rushing back to where Ji-Hoon and the others were.

"SOL BEHIND YOU!!"

However, Yoon-Jae suddenly cried out in shock.

Surprised, Sol spun around to see the crazed youth appearing in front of him in only a few steps. His heart immediately constricted at the sight while a sinking feeling settled in the pit of his stomach.

He recognized that Movement Skill.

"B-Brother Byeong-Ho?"

"ARGGGHH!!!"

Sol called out, but he only got a mad howl filled with insanity in response. Then, the Youth slashed out with his Sword Innate Dharma, which carried with it pink cherry blossom petals.

This scene immediately confirmed to Sol that this person was indeed Byeong-Ho.

"What… What happened to you?"
