The Greatest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Tensura

Chapter 112: A battle???

While enjoying our time in Tempest, I suddenly felt an incredibly powerful energy signature approaching at high speed. It wasn't just any presence—it was one that could shake the balance of the world.

Milim Nava.

One of the strongest Demon Lords, known for her unpredictable nature and immense destructive power.

My lovers noticed the shift in my expression. Velzard, who was sipping tea, narrowed her eyes. Testarossa smirked, intrigued, while Ultima and Carrera exchanged glances filled with anticipation.

"Milim, huh? This should be fun," Testarossa said, twirling a lock of her silver hair.

"I wonder how Rimuru will handle her," Carrera added, grinning. "Think he'll fight? Or just try to talk his way out?"

Velzard sighed. "If he's smart, he won't fight. But knowing Milim… she might not give him a choice."

I chuckled. "Well, let's go see how this plays out."

With a mere thought, we vanished from our seats, teleporting near the scene of the unfolding chaos.

We reappeared a short distance away, standing mid-air, completely invisible to all senses. Even Milim, with her Milim Eyes, wouldn't be able to detect us.

Down below, I saw Rimuru flying away from Tempest, leading Milim out of the city—smart move. If things went south, at least the damage wouldn't destroy his precious home.

Then, just as Rimuru landed—

BOOM!

Milim crashed into the ground like a meteor, sending debris flying. A massive crater formed beneath her, but she stood completely unharmed, hands on her hips, grinning like an excited child.

I smirked. "Well, she certainly knows how to make an entrance."

"She hasn't even done anything yet, and it's already chaotic," Ultima giggled.

Just as Rimuru was about to speak, his generals rushed in, weapons drawn, immediately attacking Milim.

We watched with amusement as—without even trying—Milim effortlessly countered them all.

Shion went flying.

Hakuro and Souei were deflected like they were children.

Benimaru's Hell Flare? Eaten like a snack.

I couldn't help but chuckle as I saw Rimuru being dragged away by Ranga, looking utterly horrified at how easily Milim was handling his strongest warriors.

Velzard sighed, shaking her head. "They never learn. Attacking first when you don't know your enemy's strength… reckless."

Carrera grinned. "Still, it's pretty fun to watch!"

Testarossa smirked, folding her arms. "This might be more entertaining than I thought. Let's see how Rimuru plans to handle Milim now."

And so, we continued watching from the shadows, curious to see if Rimuru would talk his way out of this… or if things would get even more out of control.

Just as I had barely managed to stop my generals, I found myself in an even worse situation.

Milim stood before me, hands on her hips, her bright blue eyes sparkling with excitement. The sheer power radiating off of her was almost suffocating, even though she wasn't fully unleashing her strength.

"Oh? So you want to fight?" she asked, her grin widening.

Crap. Crap. Crap.

This was bad.

I had read the reports about Milim. One of the oldest Demon Lords. One of the strongest. A literal walking catastrophe. If she really got serious, there'd be no stopping her.

Fighting her head-on? That was suicide.

So, I had to get creative.

"Okay," I said, trying to sound confident, even though my insides were screaming. "I will attack you with one move. If you survive, you win. If not, then I win."

Milim's eyes lit up. "Ohhh, I like the sound of that!" Her wings fluttered eagerly. "But if I win, you and everyone here will become my subordinates!"

I swallowed. "Deal."

Benimaru, Shion, and the others stiffened in horror. They definitely thought I'd lost my mind.

Milim braced herself, her aura starting to pulse again.

I had no time to waste.

In an instant, I summoned a jar of honey from my stomach storage and dashed forward at full speed.

Before she could even process what was happening, I tilted the jar and dumped the honey straight into her mouth.

For a split second, time froze.

Her bright blue eyes went wide, and at first, she looked like she was about to annihilate me on instinct.

But then…

The taste hit her.

Her expression changed instantly.

Her wings twitched. Her pupils dilated. Her cheeks flushed.

Then—

"MMMMMMMMMMHHHHH?!?!?!"

Her entire body shook as she fell to her knees, clutching her face like she had just seen the divine.

"W-WHAT IS THIS?!" she gasped.

I smirked, though I was still shaking internally. "It's called honey."

Milim trembled. "Honey…? THIS IS THE GREATEST THING I'VE EVER TASTED!!!"

She jumped up, grabbed my shoulders, and started shaking me violently.

"DO YOU HAVE MORE?!"

I barely managed to form a thought as my brain rattled inside my skull. "G-Great Sage, help!"

[Solution: Provide more honey.]

I quickly summoned another jar and thrust it into her hands. She snatched it instantly, downing the entire thing like a starving beast.

Meanwhile, my generals—who had gathered nearby—stood in pure disbelief.

Benimaru muttered, "Did… did Rimuru-sama just defeat Milim… with food?"

Shion, still recovering from earlier, stared blankly. "That's… not fair, right?"

As I tried to recover from the madness, I had a strange feeling that someone else was watching us.

But when I looked around, there was nothing.

No presence, no aura, nothing.

Yet, somehow, I felt like this entire scene had been witnessed by unseen eyes.

What I didn't know was that Arion and his lovers had teleported nearby, their existence completely undetectable—even to Milim's legendary perception.

They were watching the entire thing unfold, amused beyond belief.

And then—

"Alright! You win! I acknowledge you as my best friend!"

I blinked. "Wait… what?"

Milim grabbed my hands excitedly, her eyes shining with joy.

"Since you gave me something so delicious, that means we're best friends now! And best friends do everything together!"

My generals—who had barely recovered—now looked like they were about to collapse again.

Shuna covered her mouth in horror. "Rimuru-sama… what have you done?"

I felt my soul leave my body.

"Oh no…" I muttered. "What have I done?"
