Chapter 27: The Spring of the Chubby Girl 6

Their faces were close, and Cole could smell the faint fragrance on her skin. His breath grew hot, and his lips gently brushed against Elora's. He trembled involuntarily as he saw the haze of longing in her eyes, the flush of her cheeks, and the tiny beads of sweat dotting her nose. Elora, pure yet tinged with a hint of allure, looked so irresistibly endearing that he found himself unable to resist kissing her.

Elora felt Cole's excitement, and perhaps it was the first kiss, but it took a few attempts before they found their rhythm. She slightly parted her lips and shyly extended her tender, slippery tongue, brushing it across Cole's lips, guiding it into his mouth, slowly leading him.

Cole, learning from Elora's movements, gently twirled his tongue around hers, dancing with it in sweet harmony.

It wasn't until Elora, breathless, pulled back that he finally released her.

Ding... Favorability of target +15, current favorability: 70.

Blushing, Elora turned her face away, too embarrassed to look at Cole.

Cole, still lost in the bliss of the moment, never imagined that such a beautiful experience could exist. Her lips were soft, and her mouth tasted sweet. He absentmindedly smacked his lips, savoring the memory.

Elora, having noticed Cole's unconscious gesture, felt her face burn even more. "Well... it's getting late. I should head home."

"Ah... you're leaving already?" As soon as the words left his mouth, Cole regretted them. They sounded off. He quickly tried to clarify. "I didn't mean that. I meant you still haven't finished this math problem. You can't leave yet. Not that... "

Elora, unable to suppress her laughter at his flustered state, giggled. He was always so calm and composed, and yet now she got to see him so flustered. "Hmm, I understand, but it's already 9 o'clock. If I don't go home now, my parents will start calling."

Cole glanced at his watch and saw that it was indeed late. He couldn't keep her any longer. "Alright, let's go. I'll take you home." Without thinking, he naturally took her hand.

Later, it was Cole's family driver who drove Elora home.

As she was about to get out of the car, Elora saw the reluctant expression on Cole's face. She leaned over and kissed his cheek. Before Cole could even react, she quickly exited the car and went inside.

Cole, touching the spot where Elora had kissed him, broke into a silly smile, deciding he wouldn't wash his face tonight…

...

"Cole, Elora, come to my office!" The homeroom teacher called out to them as the bell rang.

Elora felt a wave of anxiety. Last time, she had been reprimanded by the teacher for failing a math test. Could it be that her math grades had slipped again? But wait, there hadn't been any exams recently! Elora scratched her head, confused by her teacher's tactics.

Cole, however, gave it little thought and walked straight toward the office. Elora, seeing him lead the way, felt somewhat reassured.

Well, at least her boyfriend was there to support her in critical moments!

"I need to tell you both something," the homeroom teacher said with a smile, looking at the two of them. Elora, feeling uneasy under the teacher's gaze, had the distinct feeling that something was amiss.

"Your English scores have always been perfect, so the school has already signed you up for the English competition. In a week, you'll be representing the school." The teacher pulled out a stack of test papers from the drawer. Elora stared at the pile, shocked. So many papers! The thing she hated most in this world was taking tests. Could she opt out of this?

"These are past competition papers. Take them and work through them. Don't come back to me for help!" The teacher handed over the papers, leaving no room for argument.

Cole, without a word, took the papers from the teacher. "Got it, we'll participate. If there's nothing else, we'll head back to class."

"Alright, off you go!" The teacher seemed pleased.

...

"Cole, there are so many papers?! Why did you accept them?" Elora, lying on Cole's large bed, groaned, her frustration evident. Even though she had finally made it to the bed, her wounded spirit wasn't soothed.

"Winning the English competition guarantees a spot in college!" Cole walked over and affectionately ruffled her hair. "Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with this competition."

Elora's eyes brightened at the mention of a guaranteed college spot. Well, in that case, she could reluctantly join the competition.
