Marco and Sonia just looked at each other after Marco's comment. Sonia doubted reality at that very moment, nothing made sense to her anymore. She knew from observing her Madam that the things Marco casually spoke of were next to impossible to accomplish. And this madman in front of her just causally accomplished things that could make Diya, a scheming and extremely careful woman's jaw drop in shock and disbelief.
Sonia just stood up bowed and walked to the kitchen, she walked robotically as no thoughts passed through her head. Gaia just nodded at Sonia's reaction, what she heard was sheer nonsense, firstly she had the firepower to kill many gods alone. The only issue with that statement was that she was not a fighter, she was more of a manager of nature.
As all the Greeks know Gaia is and always will be a scheming and backstabbing parasite. Once she was content but after her experience with her pantheon mainly the atrocities by Chronos and Zeus. Both father and son committed great sins against her. Chrono's for eating their children when he knew the only thing she longed for was a loving family. Zeus the snake was arguably worse, after she saved him helping him overthrow his father and locking him in Tartarus immediately tried to put her away too.
If she hadn't gotten lucky Zeus with his brothers would have also thrown her into Tartarus too. She escaped out of blind luck, as Atlas managed to throw her to earth. Ever since her betrayal, she has been hiding since. She witnessed the descent of several gods to earth to flex their presence and get worshippers. Some helped but others were not so kind, Jesus, the Chinese dragon saint, Buddha and Angels for example did their best to guide humans towards a better path.
Others like the Greeks, demons and Norse for example have been taking advantage of mortals from the beginning. The Greeks were massive balls of lust, demons just had their way with their contractors. The Norse just did whatever they pleased for Odin to attempt a conquer on all nine realms.
Sonia called Diya the moment she set foot in the kitchen, robotically she reported all the events to Diya, and when she was halfway through her report of what seemed to her like rubbish a loud thud was heard. When she turned around Marco was lying on the ground with Gaia just blanking staring at Marco while she was still huddled like a ball. "Sonia, what happened why did you stop the report?" Diya asked confused, she knew that Sonia had always been somewhat playful but would seriously do her job when the time came.
Assessing her maid's attitude she immediately questioned in a serious tone that snapped Sonia out of her stupor. "Sonia what happened." Sonia quickly responded, "Y-Yessh, Master suddenly fainted and Gaia is poking his face MADAM! I will call you again when I check on the master."
