The Entity of Contradictions

Chapter 21: Unexpected Answer

Gaia quickly said, "I attacked you as you were leaking a lot of power, I felt that I was going to be attacked so I first trapped you to observe your actions." Gaia pulled on the curtains like a depressed cat and continued "Out of nowhere you suddenly sped up and started to attack in my direction. I assumed that my position was compromised and thought that ridding a threat was a safer bet." She then looked at Marco's shocked face with confusion "You were going to kill me, I can tell from all the threatening you did ok, even when I did nothing I was still threatened." Gaia mumbled at the end.

Hmmmmmmm... "I just wanted to return home for your information." Marco glared at Gaia "Seeing and testing some theories I found my captor and treated her to a nice fight." Marco scoffed, he was still very disappointed with Gaia's method of attack. He thought that he could get a good fight but a letdown. "Here I thought that someone with the capability to manipulate space till the extend that it can span several countries in no time could not give a proper fight."

Gaia hearing this just remained silent, in the end it was a misunderstanding that led to her current fate. Choosing to ignore Gaia Marco nodded to Sonia, she understood his intention and continued "Though I am shocked that master managed to subjugate a primordial god, I came to check up on you. Seeing you are fine I would like to warn you, master, try not to use too much power for the time being."

This just made Marco raise an eyebrow in curiosity, Sonia continued. "As master just reawakened not too long ago you might still have memory issues. Overexerting yourself master could lead to dire consequences and you might go into a coma reliving old memories. In the worst case, I was told that your soul might be destroyed or at least fractured."

Hearing this just made Marco break out in a fit of cold sweat. He had to thank God or himself he guessed that he hadn't fallen into a coma. He was confused about who he should pray to at this point as he learnt that he and his wives were gods. He shook his head and ask Sonia "Is there any methods to reduce the effects of me overexerting myself? There is a high chance I might have to fight again in the near future, an example is that in the corner." Marco just pointed to Gaia.

Instead of feeling insulted Gaia just studied Marco, what she just heard to her was utter nonsense. Recently awakened? Might fall into a coma? All this did not make much sense to Gaia, deciding she needed to learn more she simply asked "Is your abnormality related to why your true name is so chilling?" She shuddered remembering his true name and his face from a few moments ago.

Marco just looked at Sonia completely ignoring Gaia, this action just irritated Gaia but she stayed silent. What can she do, kill him? She just sighed and went back to listening, she needed to know more about her captor."

"Master, I think you have to consult Madam Diya or Madam Ema regarding this issue. I merely came here as requested to make sure the master is safe." Sonia spoke humbly not trying to overstep as she truly had no idea how to help Marco with his unique situation. Sonia just looked at Marco as if asking him what Gaia was talking about.

Seeing Sonia's intrigue Marco just sighed "Honestly, I have no clue, she was the reason why I knew about the system. Other than that, I have no clue, I'm also looking for answers but my wives said I will slowly remember everything as time passes." Marco looked defeated as he was not really a patient person, he wanted to know what was happening and what exactly he was.
