The dragon's harem

Chapter 1016: Battle Of Monsters

^How did he come here? We were on separate dimensions.^ Gamond stood and swung her fist at him as hard as she could. Arad lifted his arms and blocked the hit, but the power from it was enough to rip his arms off and send him flying.

The only limitation that Gamond has is that she's locked to her humanoid form, which limits her output to a quarter of her original power, but that punch alone was enough to kill almost any living being.

"How did you do it." She growled, but Arad appeared again behind her, swinging his fist with a stern face. He had already regenerated and was coming for a second try, even catching her off guard wouldn't work.

^Again…this creepy-feeling magic, it's not a curse nor a normal spell…what is it?^ She grabbed Arad's fist, twisted it, and punched him in the guts, her fist blew right through his back. Her arm got stuck in his abs as he grabbed her in a bear hug, opening his mouth wide as his tongue rushed toward her face, aiming to sting her in the eye.

With a single blow, Gamond's breath froze Arad's tongue and head solid. "Now that's a scary tongue, I hope it returns to normal."

Even with his head frozen. This attack was nothing more than a distraction as his tail slowly snuck between his legs to stab her in the thighs. There should be a large vein there that would be a good target for his tail stinger.

Gamond noticed his attack and quickly lifted her legs out of the way of the sting, immediately freezing Arad's lower half. With her legs tucked to her stomach, she threw a double kick forward at Arad's stomach, ripping herself out of his bear hug alongside his arms and sending him rolling on the ground.

"Now this is interesting. How are you teleporting around? What are all those stingers, the venom in them looks painful." She licked her lips, "I might really let you stick it in me. Not the stingers."

Arad regenerated and stood like nothing happened, "I see, so that's how you move. I'd assume that speed isn't your best."

"Same for you." She giggled, "I didn't hit your balls with my spear so I'm sure you can move at least twice as fast as this. Size doesn't matter, I can always find a fairy to make it bigger, we have Undine here anyway. But speed matters a lot."

"Don't pull me into this!" Undine growled at her, speaking from inside Arad.

"And technique as well…" Arad took a stance, the one that belonged to Dalla. With a single leap, he closed the distance and swung his palm at Gamond's face.

CRACK! Gamond swung her fist up and punched Arad's wrist away before he could hit her face, with a smile on her face she giggled and grabbed his elbow, twisting his arm and coming in with a low kick.

"You don't slap a woman on the face." She kicked his knee and spun him in place. "You slap her butt." With a swift move, she drilled her elbow into his chest, sending him flying back. But in that instant, Arad appeared behind her back, swinging a slap at her butt.

It was that strange magic again, it's neither teleportation nor speed, earlier he used it to cross the dimension of this maze which didn't make sense. Gamond didn't expect such an attack so she was too late to defend.

Arad's palm slapped her butt so hard that it disintegrated a part of her dress and underwear, causing them to fall apart alongside her damaged skin. Arad got ready with a second swing, he couldn't miss the opening created by the pain… It was then that he realized, Gamond ate the slap and is now coming with a kick straight at his face.

Gamond's kick ripped Arad's lower jaw off and sent him flying. As he smacked into the furthest wall from her she giggled, rubbing her bleeding butt. "Now that hurts, it's been a while since I felt like tearing up a bit."

Her butt got covered in ice, the bleeding stopped and her wounds quickly healed. "Now you've got me excited, no one has made me feel pain since I transcended the twilight." She ripped what remained of her clothes off and approached Arad, "You're not getting away from me now."

Arad stood, all of his wounds healed as he started to float. Gamond could feel it, he wasn't going down yet. For a moment she thought that kick would be enough to rack his brain and deal enough damage to knock him out, but he seemed unperturbed.

The area around them suddenly changed they were falling from the sky toward a world of spikes. Yog's maze is ever-changing and would make them swing through multiple dimensions and demi-planes. This place allows them to go all out but also makes the fight harder for both sides.

When the two are dimension swapped, Arad proves that he can easily return while Gamond would take a while, which should give him an edge. On the other hand, the two might get locked in a tight space which gives Gamond the advantage and forces Arad to try and survive until the next swap where he would have a chance to rest and recover.

As they were falling, the next dimension swap happened and Gamond growled, now Arad would recover a bit. But at least she knows that when…She sensed that strange magic again and Arad appeared standing before her, glaring down at her with two burning red eyes.

Glaring down at Arad's legs with burning blue eyes, her brain raced through all the different spells and curses she had faced. This magic Arad is using, she had faced it before, but where.

The two started swinging at each other, each hit that landed broke bones and ripped limbs off, but Gamond started forming compacted ice around her body to block Arad's attacks. Even while using the attacking techniques Kayden taught him, it was extremely hard to damage her, or even defend against her attacks.

Arad started using a sword covered with his blood to extend his range, and Gamond started throwing blades of thin ice at him, slashing him into pieces. Arad tried to block or defend against her attacks, but even the defensive barriers he learned from Kaydens fell short, of how sharp her ice blades were. The best his barrier could be to prevent him from being cleaved in two or minced by her endless ice slashes.

As the two flew through Yog's maze, everything in their path got slashed into pieces. Gamond clearly outclassed Arad in all aspects, she was stronger, faster, and had stronger magic. The only thing between her and Arad's head is her own mind, she's thinking about something, and Arad knows what's on her mind.

Gamond was trying to figure out what magic is Arad using to teleport all around. It's not void magic, she would've quickly noticed that. It's something else, strange and complex, something that almost doesn't make sense.

^Doesn't make sense…out of this world? Eldritch magic, the abomination's magic!^ Her eyes opened wide, seeing the large smile filling Arad's face.

"Vorvadoss's space magic!?" She cried, but that was already late.

[Elemental Expansion: Abominable Blood] When Arad faced Vorvadoss before he had to learn his space magic to be able to chase him to the outer world. Since that time Arad could use that eldritch magic, but since it cost a lot of mana and was extremely inefficient he only used it when he needed it, and that to leave the bounds of the world.

But now with how efficient he got with magic, Undine's literal sea of mana, and the fact that his body now can only output enough for him to hop through dimensions while remaining in the same place or teleporting a short distance, it didn't use that much mana.

Gamond got swallowed into a ball of blood, finding herself standing inside Arad's expansion surrounded by over a hundred vampire and werewolf dragons, and Arad stood there before her.

It only took Gamond a fraction of a second to notice the expansion's power. While it offers a direct link to Arad's blood which allows him to summon all of his minions inside, it also constantly switches dimensions which means unless Gamond can keep up with that, most of her attacks would miss.

"Normal creatures shouldn't be able to use abominations' magic, how did you do that?" She started approaching him with a large smile on her face. "No, I don't care…this is nice, beautiful, no! This is the best, you're the best."

Gamond found herself in a massive fight inside Arad's expansion, facing him and all the dragons, and for some reason some really massive sea creatures.

The moment she tried to attack a dragon, the dimension would shift and Arad would thrust his sword in her back.

She tries to hit him but ends up burned by a dragon's fire breath.

She tried to blast the whole place with ice, but twenty ancient red dragons working together seamlessly since they were all controlled by Arad was enough to match her ice and prevent her from killing all of them at once.

^This brat…no this dragon, he's far better than I expected…no, he's even more. Like how I'm weakened now, he's too, he lacks all of his draconic power.^ She was never pushed this far since she was but a little drakaina struggling to survive in her old world.

While carefully avoiding all of Arad's attacks, trying to figure out when the dimension swap happens, Gamond finally manages to find a pattern in Arad's expansion. By switching to a defensive strategy and slowly awaiting opportunities to kill Arad's dragons and minions, in the span of almost an hour, she managed to wipe them all out.

Arad is the one using an expansion that consumes a lot of mana and that is on top of all of his minions. Gamond ended up winning the battle of attrition thanks to her strategy and finally stood in the middle of Arad's crumbling expansion, lifting him by the neck, all the bones in his body broken or frozen, he couldn't even lift his arms anymore.

"You were better than I ever expected. No, you were astounding, I bet no other dragon matches you out there." She licked her lips, "Killing you is such a waste, I'll enjoy you thoroughly and then give you to my daughter if I ever get bored with you. And don't worry about your wives, I'll keep them close and respect them even, I can now see why they all close to stand beside you."

"I'll…" Arad mumbled.

"What's now? Ah, sorry, but I won't go speak with your wives first, I can't wait. We'll do it now and I'll talk to them later, apologize even if it's needed." She was quickly getting in the mood, her dream of a thousand years had finally come true, it was now in her hand.

"I'll consider you…if you knelt down…and submitted." Arad looked at her with his only surviving eye.

"Is that what you want to play? Of course my love, I'll do it when we get to the bed, I'll pretend to be your slave or anything, let's experience everything together from the worst to the best…"

But Gamond could tell, Arad's dying body, his almost non-existent magic, he had lost everything, but his eyes weren't lying, his words didn't sound like a joke to her.

Arad's domain shattered, and it was then that Gamond started sweating.
