The dragon's harem

Chapter 1014: The Plan For Gamond

Arad's eyes opened wide as he saw Undine sitting on his chest. She shifted her seat and started kicking his chin with her foot, "Why aren't you saying anything? Don't tell me the brain damage got you."

She looked at him for a second and then gasped with a surprised face, "Yeah! I almost forgot!" She looked at him with a smile, "I didn't want you to go on a rampage right after waking up so I locked your body with my water."

She waved her hand and pulled the written contract, "I had you sign this and now I'm your slave. I've seen that you had some remnant magic of wind spirit queen on your soul so I wanted a part in the fun as well."

She then flicked the contract away and leaned on Arad's nose with her hands, staring directly at his eyes. "Even with my help, I doubt we'll be able to defeat Gamond."

She then flicked her fingers and he could move again. Using her water control allows her to directly control the water inside a target's body and use them like dolls.

Arad sat up and she sat on his thigh, "Are you angry that I beat you? Don't worry, you can beat me now."

Undine is the only one here who directly saw Gamond and she seems to have a pretty good idea about her power. Her existence might be crucial for the final battle.

Arad also had no direct grudge toward Undine, his loss was his own mistake for charging like that without an even bigger plan. He had never expected that someone of Undine caliber was inside the Moving Glacier.

What's more, Undine is now enslaved, she can't do anything to defend herself even if she wants to. All of her power and future are bound to his hands, she will only be free again once he dies.

Echidna stared at them for a second, "Arad…does this mean you now have the full power of the water spirit queen at your hands?"

"He does." Undine replied with a smile, "With a flick of his fingers he could lift all the water of the seas and drown the whole world." She then looked at Plum, "It'd be better if you saw him as the water spirit king now."

Arad sighed, "This doesn't make any sense."

Undine who was sitting on his thigh suddenly gasped, looking at her hands with a worried and terrified face, "You!" She jolted to glare at him, "You broke the contract?! Are you a fool?"

"I am not interested in defeating someone who can't fight and neither do I care about using a power that isn't my own. You're free and can leave."

Undine stared at him for a second. This man…no this dragon…no one in the world would throw my power away, millions of people died seeking to be granted a fraction of my power yet when he got it all he gave it back to me.

She started giggling, "I see, so this is why that spirit queen stays close to you…" She smiled, "Arad Orion, with a contract or without it, I'll say here and work under you. Feel free to use me however you like."

"You're still talking about that?" He shook his head, "What's up with you?"

"First! Let's start with you drinking me, that should make things easier to understand." Her eyes flashed blue and her body turned into water. She flew at Arad's mouth and forced herself through, mixing into his body.

Arad gasped, rolling back on the bed as he tried to cough her out, but failed. When looked forward, his eyes had turned blue and were flashing with water magic.

"I'm inside your bloodstream now. You freely use my power like this, and I can always get out." She crawled out of his mouth a second later. "This would be easier to do when you go back to your world."

"Wait!" Arad growled at her, "You aren't coming back with me!"

"No, I'm coming. I've already asked Yog to appoint another water spirit queen after my departure. Don't worry, I'll still own all of my power and you'll be able to use it as you wish."

"Do what you want." Arad stood, "I'll go find something to eat." He quickly left. After the last fight, he had lost a lot of blood and energy and was starving. He's extremely powerful and durable, but in his current condition even he might pass back out if he doesn't find something to eat quickly.

"Now that he's gone, to deal with the rest." Undine looked at Plum, "Can you go and find me some nice clothes? I can't stay naked like this."

"As you wish!" Plum flew out as fast as she could and Mesharra looked at Undine, "You don't have any clothes?"

"I was wearing the Moving Glacier for a few thousands of years before Arad came and ripped me out of it. I'd rather not go look for my old clothes as no matter how well made they were, they are probably just a pile of fossilized junk now."

Echidna smiled, "Do you know where they are? I'll take them if you don't want to." She knew that no matter how much time had passed, those clothes had soaked in Undine's magic and had probably turned into powerful ancient artifacts or at least catalysts that she could use for magic.

"I left them in the bottom of the frozen northern sea, it's there where I made the Moving Glacier armor." Undine scratched her head trying to remember the exact location, "Yeah, at the hollow ravine. But I doubt that place still exists or retains that name. Go to the location where the summer's northern lights cross in a + shape if you didn't find it then I must go there to find it myself."

Echidna looked a bit worried, "Hollow ravine? Mesharra, can we get access to the library? I want to see if we have any old map to tell where that place is."

"I don't know…let's go." Mesharra had guessed what Echidna was after, finding Undine's old layer was bound to give them some powerful artifacts to help in their journey. If it's on their way they wouldn't mind hitting it.

As those two Undine looked at Mary, "Go check on Arad, I'm sure he'll have severe stomach pain after eating. His organs were destroyed and healed several times, you might need to patch him a bit."

Mary nodded and immediately rushed after Arad, he's bound to be eating downstairs.

Undine looked up and lifted her hand, "Now we're alone." With a single flick, the whole room was covered with a thin water barrier.

"How old are you? Why are you chasing him around?" She glared at Altair with an evil smile, her eyes burning blue, the same way they were before she fought Arad.

"What are you talking about?" Altair looked at her with a confused face, she had no idea what this little fairy was talking about. "I'm twenty-seven years old."

"Huh?" For a moment Undine looked annoyed, she swung her foot and Altair got blasted to the wall, coughing blood. "No one would ever hear you cry in here. Speak, how old are you? In cycles."

Altair had passed out and stopped breathing, for a moment it looked like Undine's hit killed her.

Undine sighed, "Listen, kid. You're too young to be messing around like this, you're far too sloppy if I can tell. You're after Arad, aren't you?"

Altair opened her eyes, "Fine…This is my fifth cycle."

"Basically a kid? Get out and come back when you're a bit older." Undine pointed with her finger at the window, "Next time I see you around I'll lock you up until you grow a brain."

At that moment, Yog appeared above the bed and fell on Undine, stepping on her.

"GAH!" Undine cried, "Get your foot off me!"

Yog stared at her with a smile, "If you bully a kid then your place is beneath my foot. She's trying her best, leave her be."

"So you're the one filling her head with all this crap?!" Undine pushed Yog's foot away and grew to the size of a human woman. "You! Don't listen to this short idiot here, she doesn't care about anything. You're still too young for this, the world still has more to offer."

"But…" Altair looked down, "You never run into someone like that."

"Try anything funny with Arad and he will kick you away in a heartbeat, you'll never get another chance afterward." Undine was making a point, all this time Altair and Yog never thought about what Arad would think.

Yog grabbed Undine by the neck and forced her back to her small fairy form, "You sit down." She threw her on the bed and looked at Altair, "I am the goddess of this world. Go do whatever you like, I'll do whatever I can to help you. You know I don't care if it's good or evil, as long as it's fun."

Undine sighed, "Fine, but I'm washing my hands out of all responsibility. I warned you, kid." She then waved at her to approach, "I'll help a bit though with magic."

"Magic?" Altair tilted her head a bit.

"Your left leg is a bit taller than the other, you smell a bit off, and your proportions are a bit exaggerated, like how is your head that small?" She pointed at her.

Yog looked at Altair, "How? I can see it, but no one should notice, those are but small imperfections."

"If I can tell then Arad can as well. I'm sure he's already weary of her." Hearing Undine's words Altair remembered that Arad indeed acted weird around her, he probably could sense that something was off but couldn't tell how.

****

An hour later Arad returned to his room, finding Undine had worn the clothes that Plum brought her. "So you finally got something on."

"Yeah, or do you prefer me naked? I won't mind staying like that." She looked at him with a smug face but he ignored her, returning to his desk. On his way there he looked at Altair for a second, the weird feeling he was getting around her had fully disappeared, which made him even more weirded out.

"Did you want something?" Altair asked with a tilted head. "No, nothing." Arad went back to check their plans.

At that moment Mesharra and Echidna returned. They have found the location of Undine's layer…but sadly it was on the other side of the northern arctic. They have to go way past Yog's tower to find it, which means getting it is impossible on this trip.

The two showed the location to Arad and he shook his head, "We can't get it, but you two can go there after we deal with Gamond in Yog's tower."

"We won't need those artifacts after the fight." Mesharra looked at him, "Can't we make a detour to get them?"

"No, we'll waste a lot of time. And I bet it's buried underground." He stared at Undine.

"Under ice, mountains of it. Undine replied as she flew and sat on Arad's shoulder, "But I can dig it out in seconds."

"I'll think about it, but I think it's better to plan for a fight against Gamond. You said she's twice as strong as you, but that's wrong." Arad smiled, "She's a white dragon and I bet a master of temperature magic."

"So? What will you do? I doubt that'll make a difference." She flew down and sat on his desk.

"Oh… it makes a big difference." With a flick of his fingers, he conjured water into a cup by using water magic.

"Hey! Use my magic! What do you think you're doing casting it on your own." Undine felt sad that he didn't use her power.

"I'll use your power against Gamond, for now, listen to this. Water is made of three particles, two small ones and a big one. The big one is what we breathe to stay alive and the small ones can burn really well."

He then put two fingers inside the cut and jolted it with lightning magic, quickly after igniting the gas that came out. He separated the oxygen and hydrogen and then combusted them back which gave him back the water.

"I'll create a lot of water with your magic, separate it like this with weather magic since the lightning from that costs way less mana than normal lightning magic, and then blast her with this." Arad smiled, "She'll absorb the heat to throw it back at me, but I would've gotten the water back and I'll burn her again, over and over until she can't take it all and explode."

"What if she threw the heat back at you and hit you?"

"I can use temperature magic as well. I'll absorb and throw it back at her with the generated fire. What matters with temperature magic is mass, not mana capacity. I bet that just the bloop has enough size to absorb as much heat as a dragon similar in size." Undine looked at the papers and then back at Arad several times.

"Are you some kind of genius?" She was genuinely surprised.

"No, I got beaten by enough geniuses to learn. This one called Isbert knocked me with a heat reflection, and I almost died. So I'm using that plan against Gamond." Arad replied and she was even more shocked to hear Isbert's name.

"And what about this? How did you find this about water?" She pointed at the cup.

"I'm a void dragon, I found that out when trying to understand how void magic works."

Undine didn't know whether to be terrified or amazed, "This means I can generate some powerful fire magic…I can create thunder clouds as they are just water vapor…hold up…. If I did this, I could turn the whole ocean into a sea of fire if I wanted."

"I'd rather you don't…" Arad looked at her with a smile.

"Do you know that you just showed me how to make enough fire to probably rival the fire spirit queen? And I'm the water queen?" Her brain almost halted working, she was with him for less than a day and he dropped that bomb on her. It's been thousands of years since her power stagnated…be he just…

Undine sighed holding her head, "I didn't expect it to be like this." Her hands had started shaking, "Now I want to test it…" She lifted a finger up, and created a ball of water and then a small cloud. When the lightning jolted the water she was able to generate oxygen and hydrogen and then burn them to create fire.

With Undine still stunned, Altair approached Arad and looked at the plan with Mesharra and Echidna. "How did you find that?" She asked.

"Find what?" He looked at her.

"About void magic…is that some kind of magic that analyzes other magic?" Altair looked at him with a confused face.

"No, the world is made of small particles, those particles are made of even smaller particles and void between them. Void magic control that voids to crush those into energy and then reform them back to matter." Arad explained as best as he could while drawing it. Void magic simply controls the space between an atom's nucleus and electrons, taking that void off would force the atom to collapse into energy, and putting void into energy generates an atom.

With the power of the void Arad slowly became aware of the existence of atoms and their properties which he uses to enchant magic as much as possible.

"Is that how it works? What a strange magic."

Undine slowly turned her face toward Arad and Altair, "You were right." She approached Arad, "What you showed me just now is priceless, no, it's probably something that you shouldn't have shown me. I don't even think I can repay you for it."

"Let's just do our best to defeat Gamond."
