"But... there are still a lot of students around the mountain. What if someone sees us?" Erina stammered, her cheeks flushed. "This is improper."

Sui glanced at her, feeling speechless. The proud Erina was standing before him in her white chef's uniform, her long golden hair tied back neatly, exuding a noble and elegant aura. Despite her slightly flustered demeanor, her angelic face made her look even more endearing.

She could barely walk because her feet were sore, yet she still tried to act tough.

Without a word, Sui walked over to her.

"Sui, what are you doing?" Erina asked nervously, her blush deepening as he approached. She raised her hands defensively in front of her, unsure of his intentions.

Sui didn't respond verbally. Instead, he bent down and, in one swift motion, scooped Erina up into his arms.

"Ah! Sui, put me down! What if someone sees us? There are still tourists and students around!" Erina panicked, burying her face in his chest. One hand wrapped around his neck, while the other lightly hit his chest in protest.

"Isn't this more comfortable?" Sui asked, noting how light and soft she felt in his arms.

"Well... yes..." Erina admitted, realizing that the soreness in her feet had subsided. But still, she couldn't shake the embarrassment of being carried like this in public.

"You could just carry me on your back," she muttered, her face still buried in his chest.

Sui sighed, setting her down gently. He squatted down and said, "Alright, hop on."

Erina hesitated for a moment, her face still red with embarrassment. But eventually, she removed her shoes, revealing her white socks, and carefully climbed onto his back.

Sui stood up, holding her by the thighs to support her. Erina wrapped her arms around his neck, clutching her shoes in one hand, while resting her head on his back.

The path was still busy with tourists and students, but Erina, too embarrassed to be seen, kept her face hidden against Sui's back the entire time.

"Sui!"

Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out. It was Yoshino, Ryoko, and the others, heading toward them. Sōma trailed behind, pushing a food cart.

"Hey, guys! Have you closed up already?" Sui greeted them with a smile.

Erina's heart skipped a beat. 'Oh no... if Yoshino realizes it's me on Sui's back, the whole school will know by tomorrow!'

She buried her face even deeper into Sui's back, her nerves on edge.

"Yeah, we closed a while ago," Yoshino replied, her mouth full of meat bun. "Isshiki-senpai said running the store is supposed to be fun, so now we're just wandering around, eating everywhere."

Sōma approached with a grin, offering Sui a sesame cake. "Want to try my special Pepper Meat Bun?"

"No thanks, it's not convenient right now," Sui replied with a laugh. "Good luck with your match against Kuga-senpai."

"Haha, you bet!" Soma grinned. Then, his eyes landed on the figure clinging to Sui's back. "Hey, Sui, who's that? Is it Megumi?"

Erina's heart raced. She buried her face even deeper into Sui's back, praying they wouldn't figure out who she was.

Just as she started to feel relieved, Yoshino's voice chimed in, full of surprise.

"Erina-chi? Why are you on Sui's back?"

Erina's heart sank. 'How did she recognize me?!'

Blushing furiously, she slowly lifted her head, reluctantly greeting them. "Hello... everyone."

Yoshino, Ryoko, and the others stared at her in astonishment.

"I was just guessing, but I didn't expect it to be true!" Yoshino muttered, causing Erina's forehead to twitch in frustration.

'She was just guessing?!' Erina felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. She had been completely fooled by Yoshino's casual comment.

"Hehe~ I was right."

Yoshino extended her hand to the group with a smirk. "Alright, pay up! One hundred yen, as promised."

Ryoko sighed and opened her wallet, placing a coin into Yoshino's palm. "I really thought it was Megumi."

"Yeah, me too," Sōma agreed, scratching his head as he handed over the money.

Sui glanced at Erina, who had buried her face against his back once again. 'You fell for it too easily,' he thought, shaking his head.

Erina's face burned with embarrassment as she clung tighter to Sui's back.

"But you two make such a cute couple!" Yoshino teased with a grin. "You're so romantic!"

"W-Who said we were a couple?!" Erina mumbled weakly, her blush deepening. Despite her denial, the thought had crossed her mind—she had already decided in her heart that one day, she would marry Sui.

Yoshino laughed. "Alright, alright, we'll leave you two alone."

"Here, Miss Erina, have a Pepper Meat Bun," Soma said, handing her a fresh one as they prepared to leave.

"Why... thank you." Erina was taken aback for a moment, but unable to refuse, she accepted the bun, juggling it with her shoes in one hand.

Once everyone had left, Erina took a bite of the bun. It was crisp and flavorful—better than she had expected.

"Sui, want some?" she asked, offering the Pepper Meat Bun to him.

"Sure," Sui replied, taking a bite from the bun in her hand. He couldn't help but notice the small bite marks Erina had left on it.

Erina blushed even more as they shared the snack, feeling both embarrassed and oddly content.

They continued walking, taking turns eating the bun until it was gone. Though her cheeks remained flushed, Erina felt a warm sense of happiness.

Looking up at the sky, she saw the starlight twinkling above them. It reminded her of the night Sui had carried her back from the Polaris Dormitory.

"Hey, Sui..." she said softly.

"Hm?" he responded.

"Last time you carried me like this... I had a dream," she murmured, her voice quiet but filled with nostalgia.
