Chapter 39: Get to the bell 3
When the third one had climbed up, another from the back jumped on the third one's back and jumped up.
She looked above,
she was scared to death, "if this works, I'm doomed", she said within herself.
Mid air, about crossing the line, the flame had increased in height and flamed the body.
The others screamed in anger.
She covered her ear, her heart was about to jump out from her body, tears dropped from her eyes, it was remaining two crowns for her.
It was said to seal the bell with the weapon at hand and ring it.
"How do they seal the bell?",
he asked the man.
"How am I supposed to know that?"
the man asked him back,
"Well you are always here, I mean you have seen the others".
"And do you really think I would tell you". The man really didn't expect that alvah wouldn't know what to do .
"No one would judge me if I kill this man here", he looked at him.
The man couldn't understand alvah because looking into his eyes only made it more mysterious.
"You're so slow child, you don't have much time, or should I say, the girl doesn't have much time".
Alvah's was looking in his direction when he turned around.
"Everything is much clearer from here". He looked down and saw forever of them. "what if is she's out fire, Should I go back?".
As if reading his mind, the man said to him.
"It would be stupid of you to go back and come with her".
Alvah looked at this man.
"I'll explain it to you but don't blame me for wasting your precious time".
"If you go back now, everything will be as fresh as new except the both of you".
"And then, all tactics you've used to get here, they will all be counteracted, all of them including those men you've killed down there".
"That fog was to waste time, can't you see, it's so clear from up here but from down there,... it was like there was never a tower"
"It looks closer from up here, but it's the opposite down there". 'I'm surprised how you got here quickly". Truly the man was amazed with alvah, but his mistake wasn't the best.
"There was a man here before", he continues to talk. "He was as quick as you, I mean quick".
"That's probably dad". Alvah said within. His dad was someone to end things once and for all.
"The amount of time you've spent there, your energy had depleted, you are Soo weak or rather her because you look okay".
"Let me brief you, you don't have much time, the previous one, it was the mate who was here and not the man". It was a lot more easier.
"Seems to me that you didn't read the book,... you youngsters".
"Continue what you're here for so you don't say I wasted your time".
Alvah turned his gaze from the man to the bell, he squatted to read a small writing.
When he read it, what he saw was Fire, Katana. It covered the whole end of the bell.
"Hansi sealed the bell"
So to get my seal on it, it's just to hit the bell. Why is this so easy.
He brought out his sword from his palm and hit the bell,
The writing of fire glowed but that of the katana didn't.
"Don't tell me",...
He was in rage at the moment.
"Son, the weapon doesn't match,...
"I know that".
"And Zillah isn't even with her weapon, she should have it in her. But what's the use, I can't go back"
"Why is this so frustrating", he sat on the ground.
Zillah was trying as much as possible to preserve her remaining two crowns,
"I never know when he will come back".
She tried as much as possible to prevent them from crossing the line.
She was so fatigued and breathless.
'I'm tired"...
What am I supposed to do now?..., I never thought that they would give to me my father's evaluation, now I don't have a clue.
What was I thinking, like they know I'm his son, this is useless. He looked at the bell and kicked it.
Zillah who was trying as much as possible to not let them cross, suddenly the fire raised up once more.
What?....,
she turned around.
She saw that they had launched a body to pass through, but the speed and timing of the fire still caught them.
They were enraged. They all began murmuring.
Zillah was scared to death, even worse than before because she was down to only one crown.
Alvah wiped his face, his eyes were red from holding tears, when he looks at what she still has to face, it kills him, she won't even get to the third evaluation and she would die.
Even if I go back, like he said everything will be as we came here, except us.
"Wait I can reset the bell to accept a new signature, can't I?",
"Did you read the book?"
"If you did should have been out of this situation by now".
"Can't you at least give me a hint".
"The book is enough hint, boy".
"Stop calling me in different ways, you....,you're an annoying freak".
"I need to reset the bell". He bent to take a look under the bell, the clapper was missing.
"Where is the clapper?"... he asked himself.
The man smiled at alvah.
"What is this?", alvah contemplated, "why is not clapper not here?", he was talking to himself.
He stood up and looked at the man, the man smiled at him.
Alvah was furious, he sighed and looked away. He sat down to meditate.
"For a child like you, you work very hard".
Alvah looked at the man.
"Sorry".., I apologize.
Zillah was on her last breath,
She laid down on the ground facing the sky, she was having a hard time breathing.
She turned to the side, when she saw them laughing, they ran towards her when her last fire rose up.
They were really pissed off, they believed that eventually the fire would stop but it kept flaming.
They turned around but were still waiting patiently.
Alvah stood up after calming down for about five minutes.
He looked under the ball again, he tried sending his arm to at least touch that area, his hand couldn't reach.
He slided and laid down under the bell, he saw a tiny clapper, "why would it be this tiny".
And the blackness of the bell, sure the tiny clapper can't be seen.
He still couldn't reach it,
Zillah's time had elapsed.
They looked around, they didn't want to come any closer as they would burn. But there is always that one person.
He came closer, and closer till he crossed the line, nothing flamed up, he looked at the others and looked back at Zillah.
They walked slowly to her, she would soon see her body parts on the ground.
Alvah had already rang the bell by using his chains to flog the clapper, the bell rang but it was not heard.
He came from under the bell, hitting It with dáinn, a new signature came up, which was Fire Sword.
Alvah feared, how would anyone hear the sound when he who is closer can't hear it
He wanted to ring it again, he went back under the bell, the clapper was missing.
He came out, the man was missing.
As the carcasses were about to touch her, their bodies began to fade away.
Zillah couldn't even smile. At some point she thought that Alvah had died,
she laughed a breathless laugh. She was coughing uncontrollably but stopped later on.
She looked around they were all gone, she laid back down.
Alvah appeared, he saw her on the ground.
From his view, he should believe that she had died but she didn't.
He walked to her and knelt down on top of her.
She refused to open her eyes,
He laughed.
Unlike her, his breathing was normal.
He removed her hair from her face.
A white light appeared behind them. He stood up, looking at it, probably someone would come out.
Zillah was back in Elysian, she had fainted
Alvah had appeared back but in his portal, he teleported quickly to Elysian, there he saw her on the floor.
He picked her up and laid her on the bed
He laid down with her and wrapped his arms around her waist tightly. He didn't leave a space between them.
