Chapter 476: World Barrier
Outside the golden solid wall, on a certain deserted island.
Colin and Mill, along with others, are temporarily resting here.
This island is quite large, but due to the lack of freshwater resources, it's uninhabited.
"Sorry to trouble everyone, but my injuries are too severe, I must recover immediately." Mill said softly in a natural cave on the island.
She held her abdomen with her hand, her face pale, explaining as she healed:
"There is a qualitative difference between the Divine Power mastered by the Divine's avatar and the sub-divine power mastered by followers.
Compared to sub-divine power, the Divine Power has a qualitative increase in lethality against the Spiritual Body of a Fourth Rank Wizard... that's why, under the same rank, Wizards usually lose against the Divine's avatar."
Saying this, Mill subconsciously glanced at Colin.
However, the Divine's avatar, which she was utterly helpless against, was only able to withstand a punch before being completely destroyed in front of Colin.
The crimson energy that erupted from Colin seemed to be no less than the Divine Power!
All of this intrigued her greatly... unfortunately, at this moment, Colin was also sitting cross-legged on the other side, eyes tightly shut, making it hard to disturb him.
Under the effect of the Healing Magic, the wound on Mill's abdomen gradually healed, and her complexion improved somewhat as well.
Meanwhile, Colin was gradually becoming familiar with the enhancements brought by his recent breakthrough.
The Magic Power and Blood Energy have completely merged, forming the crimson energy, which can not only be used to release witchcraft but also strengthen oneself like Blood Energy.
Moreover, its quality is markedly higher than the previous pure Blood Energy and Magic Power.
Using it to release witchcraft and strengthen oneself is significantly more effective than before!
It can be said to have combined the advantages of both and produced a qualitative change!
And even until now, this transformation has not completely finished.
Colin focused his attention on the center of his eyebrows, the location of his soul, where usually a shrunken spiritual body could be seen, and the spherical Spirit Sea in its brow.
However, at this moment, focusing his attention only revealed a brilliant crimson glow.
This crimson glow, in a constantly condensing state, was also continuously extending crimson threads outward.
The crimson threads extended from the center of his eyebrows, gradually heading downwards, all the way to the limbs and bones, forming a complex and dense network structure within Colin's body.
This structure seemed to interweave through the flesh but has actually become one with the body, indistinguishable from each other.
As for the benefits this change can bring, it needs to be slowly discovered in the future.
At least now, besides the increase in strength, Colin has also noticed that this unique structure helps conceal his aura.
The cave gradually fell silent.
Kanilunka and the round-faced witch stayed on the side in silence, their minds complex.
They had already accepted their impending doom, yet a miracle suddenly occurred.
Kanilunka thought of the wizard who chose to commit suicide and sighed inwardly.
'Klay... if only you had waited a little longer.'
Another half-hour or so passed.
"I'm almost recovered." Mill said, opening her eyes.
After some treatment, she finally recovered the majority of her injuries and was no longer in life-threatening danger.
Kanilunka and the round-faced witch directed their gazes over.
After exchanging glances with them, all three of them unconsciously turned their eyes towards Colin.
Colin was slowly opening his eyes at this moment, his blue pupils clear and bright, like a deep azure sea.
"Master Colin, where should we head next?" the round-faced witch couldn't help but ask first.
"Benita, the adults will have their arrangements!" Kanilunka sternly rebuked.
"It's alright." Colin shook his head, smiling softly, "I know what you all want to ask."
"I do have a way to return to the Solid Wall."
"But before that, I want to ask Master Mill about the details of the golden solid wall, could you introduce it to me?"
Upon hearing Colin's inquiry about the details of the solid wall, Mill's heart sank slightly, not holding out too much hope anymore.
But after hesitating, she still recounted all the information she knew:
"The Solid Wall plan is a project devised by the Supreme Councilman about half a month ago. The resulting golden solid wall can resist all attacks below the Fifth Rank.
Of course, constrained by the will of the world, the highest power in the Yanan World cannot even reach the Fourth Rank."
"However, even an attack from the Fifth Rank cannot immediately break the golden solid wall!"
At this point, Mill paused, "And the golden solid wall cannot be actively switched off or on; once formed, it remains forever."
Listening to Mill's words, the moods of Kanilunka and Benita also gradually sank.
Mill continued speaking:
"Moreover, we only deployed the Solid Wall Witch Array on Lanshengxi Island this time, but the scope of the golden solid wall is not limited to Lanshengxi Island or even the Southern Seven Islands.
It starts from the Southern Seven Islands, extending along the Sea Domain on the edge of the Siya Continent, continuously building the Solid Wall Witch Array, eventually extending to the edge of the Extreme North, forming an incomplete ring."
"It's not a complete ring, nor is it a flaw in the plan. The Extreme North is the edge of the world, being the world's extreme, it has a natural World Barrier.
Although the golden barrier extends only to the edges of the Extreme North on both sides, the naturally existing arc-shaped World Barrier there completes the full ring together with it."
After listening to Mill's last words, Colin's eyes brightened instead of showing disappointment.
"I finally understand why the world will delivered such an instruction!"
"The world will?"
"Yes, the world will just gave me a vague instruction."
Not holding back, Colin narrated the instruction the world will previously gave him:
"The world will conveyed a location to me, which seems to tell me that as long as I reach there within a week, I can return from there to the solid wall."
"And that location, it seems, is somewhere on the World Barrier of the Extreme North!"
Listening to Colin's confident words, hope gradually rose again in Mill and the others' hearts.
Kanilunka and the others had never heard of the world will, but it didn't stop them from believing in Colin.
After all, in the current situation, Colin had no reason to deceive the two insignificant Second Rank Wizards.
Mill, however, knew about the world will, and for this reason, she was even more shocked in her heart.
The world will... actually took the initiative to inform Colin of a way out!
What kind of privilege is this?!
Even the Child of the World is nothing more!
Colin looked around, seeing the surprise in everyone's eyes.
But in fact, the astonishment in his heart was no less than that of Mill and the others.
To be favored by the world... Colin thought of this sentence said to him by the Supreme Councilman before.
As well as the ability granted by the world will - World Perception.
Not to mention the recent mention by the Lord of Gold and Molten Rock, "the world-favored ant..."
Colin never considered himself special, but these facts now forced him to acknowledge -
At least in the eyes of the world will, he is a very special individual.
As for the reason behind this, Colin still didn't know... and now was not the time to think about it.
He looked at everyone and continued speaking.
"Since that is the case, our next target will be to head to that World Barrier."
The wizards nodded, the hope reappearing on their faces.
"There's no time to lose, let's set off now!"
Hearing this, Mill took out the Concealing Orb again.
An invisible fluctuation swept past, and the figures of the wizards quietly disappeared.
