The Billionaire’s Secret Bride

Chapter 35: Chapter 35: I Love Him So Much

Inside the velvet-lined jewelry box lay a dazzling diamond necklace. Its soft bluish brilliance lit up the entire living room—and seemed to reflect off every corner of the grand Su villa.

Even at a glance, anyone could tell: this necklace was worth a fortune.

Vanessa Su shot to her feet in shock. "Oh my God—is that The Emperor Star?"

The Emperor Star?

Could it really be that Emperor Star—the necklace that sold for hundreds of millions at the auction?

Sylvia froze, completely stunned. She hadn't expected to receive something so extravagant.

It had to be from Nathaniel Fu. No one else could possibly afford it.

Every time she was humiliated, Nathaniel would descend like a king from the heavens and rescue her from disaster. And this gift—this priceless gem—was just another proof of that.

She loved him so much she could barely breathe.

"Mom, Dad—my boyfriend gave this to me," Sylvia said proudly, lifting her chin. "Isn't it stunning?"

Charles Su and Lila exchanged glances, already guessing who the sender was. In all of Yecheng, who else had the power and wealth to send something like this?

"Xuexue, your boyfriend is incredible," Charles said warmly, instantly switching into doting father mode. He personally lifted the necklace and clasped it around her neck.

Lila turned to Justin and his wife with a sweet smile. "Did Vanessa's boyfriend ever give her anything like this? If not, maybe don't compare notes in front of our daughter. It's kind of embarrassing."

The Su family's morale, which had just been crushed moments ago, flipped in an instant—thanks to Nathaniel Fu and his Emperor Star.

Justin's family, who had been basking in superiority just minutes earlier, suddenly looked sour. But they were quick to adapt.

"Charles, you never told us Sylvia was dating someone so successful! What an amazing surprise," Justin said with a forced smile.

Even Vanessa had lost her arrogance. She now hovered around Sylvia, eyeing the necklace with barely concealed envy.

"Sylvia, who is your boyfriend? He's so generous. I've only ever heard of the Emperor Star—seeing it in person is unbelievable."

She was jealous—desperately so.

In truth, Vanessa had recently been scouted by Starlight Entertainment, the most prestigious agency under the Fu family's empire. She believed that once she signed the contract, she'd be one step closer to the upper echelons of society—and maybe even to the elusive heir of the Fu family himself.

Sylvia wanted to blurt out Nathaniel's name, to bask in the awe it would bring—but she held back. "You all definitely know his name," she said mysteriously. "He's a very important man. If I told you, you'd be too shocked to speak."

That only made everyone more curious.

"Come on, Xuexue," someone urged. "Who is it? Tell us!"

Charles chuckled, then said proudly, "My birthday is in a few days. Sylvia's boyfriend will be attending, and once their relationship is public, you'll know everything."

Justin and his family, still reeling from jealousy, quickly shifted gears again.

"We can't wait for your birthday party, Charles," Justin said, laughing awkwardly. "When you rise, don't forget to take us along."

They soon excused themselves and left.

Charles relaxed on the couch with a cup of tea, his frustrations of the past few days melting away. He looked at Sylvia and beamed.

"Xuexue, President Fu gave you the Emperor Star himself. That means he's serious. You must invite him to my birthday party and announce your relationship. Once that happens, you'll be the official Mrs. Fu, and I'll be the most respected father-in-law in Yecheng!"

But Sylvia knew very well—the necklace wasn't meant for her.

Nathaniel had sent it because of Celia. Celia had slept with him just last night... and the reward came first thing this morning.

Sylvia hesitated for a second, but before she could speak, Lila quickly cut in.

"Don't worry, Charles. President Fu will absolutely be at your birthday celebration."
