Chapter 5: The Architect
It, or perhaps, He, for the moment, had appeared in a familiar time zone.
The Zero Point, as He had named it.
With being accustomed to the human physiology He currently equipped, He attempted to take in a deep breath of fresh air.
"Oh..." He abruptly spoke, no sound escaping as nor did any oxygen flow into his lungs.
Of course! There was no air here! There was nothing actually!
But that did not disturb He, the entity only plastering it's face with a warm smile.
"Okay! Let's do things a new way this time! This will allow for a splendid existence filled with human creatures! And perhaps even more wonderful miniature life forms! Tiny things that carry worlds within their minds!" He exclaimed happily, opening up his two human arms and basking inside the darkness.
A burst of energy exploded outwards, covering the darkness as the runic codings of existence shot all throughout He could see.
But, unlike the previous manifestations of existence, there was no Existential Division, nor were their instantaneous manifestations of worlds and celestial bodies.
He breathed, a dense cloud of energy escaping his mouth...
And... It did not stop!
He exhaled, and this dense cloud slowly grew larger and larger. The space before this entity becoming a vast misty creation.
"Just a little more special! Far more beautiful although..." He chuckled.
Then, he brought his arms together, clapping his palms as they found themselves grasped together.
And so did the cloud of energy!
It all condensed, exploding into an array of light and grandeur beauty!
A large reality had formed in an instant, laced with countless stars. With a snap of his slim fingers, time permuted, swooping this realm up in a storm as an infinite amount of planets formed, stars dimming and exploding as more were born anew.
Primitive life forms were born through the efforts of the Life Coding, single celled creatures proliferating throughout the vast universes.
Then they evolved, become full fledged beasts, animals, and plants.
Then, it all came to a slowed movement!
Time returned to the speed in which it normally progressed, and He was excited.
He smiled, his human figure disappearing from the outside place beyond this reality.
He reappeared within it, his bare feet touching down on the soil beneath him.
It was a planet, chosen on a whim, but strategically in a way. He only had a few requirements for the plan he wished to undergo.
A large world, located within what he liked to call, the Golden Zone.
A planet that had access to massive amounts of power within the immediate surroundings, alongside being one that would very easily allow for the birth of a specific species!
Humans! Of course!
This massive planet held huge droves of water, thick and luscious forests, and a wide array of natural resources, plants, and biomes.
It's biodiversity was through the roof thanks to the widely varying regions and the succulent energy of the solar systems mother star!
With a hinge at his waist, he bent over. His palms grazed the ground, scooting through the soil and grasping it between his fingers.
"What was it... Christianity? Right? A fun idea..." He chuckled, picking up the dirt.
And then!
"Poof!" He blew the soil out of his palm. He watched intently as the cloud of brown dust swirled around in the air before it. It spun and spun, weaving in and out, and before long!
Right before He, stood a creature of similar form. It was bipedal, brown skinned, and rather slim. It was, boyish, according to descriptive words that belonged to this race he had just created anew.
With a smile on His face, He opened his mouth, weaving a grand scene from His imagination, into reality.
"Wake up, my son."
With those words, the stagnant figure residing before He, trembled. The two eyelids it had, shot open, revealing golden irises. Irises that flew around, absorbing all the jarring visual imagery being presented.
Green plants, swaying physical things, a strangely different item that created sound.
Or perchance not an item, but a person.
With a smile emerging on His face, His hand was brought up to His face, and a snap was heard.
Snap!
Then, he understood!
"Ibrahim. Human ancestor! Human progenitor! The predecessor of all humans to ever come to exist! You are the first! Haha! How fun!" The creature before him, seemed to rejoice. His hands were thrown into the air, a shower of happiness spewing from He and infecting the surroundings.
The newly spawned entity, Ibrahim, blinked. He blinked away his confusion, smoothly acclimating to the knowledge in his head as if it was always there.
"I can't comprehend exactly what you are... I cannot... put it into words..." Ibrahim spoke.
"I am what you consider God, of course." There was a whispered response.
Slowly, Ibrahim's knee bent, reaching the floor.
Then his other knee followed.
Then his head.
"...But I am grateful... I thank you. With all of my life." The boy, praised the creature before him, not even daring to look upwards.
He could feel the creature's beading glare, perspiration appearing on his back as a result.
"Fun! Are you worshipping me currently? O' the way you kneel before an entity far beyond your level is so interesting and sensical! I don't blame you at all!" The creature laughed.
Ibrahim could feel his strength. There was a pressure in the area that made things... Unusual.
Not that he was aware of what the usual was, of course. He was in fact only in the land of the living for a few seconds after all.
"Now look. I have created you because I wish for you to create a future I have foreseen. A future where humans live everywhere! Where their creativity is not so limited, where they can witness things they have never seen before in all the iterations of Existence!" The creature spoke, Ibrahim heeding each word that he could hear.
"I expect you to populate this planet. Then I expect you to go beyond this planet, and conquer this solar system. Then I expect you to conquer galaxies! Then universes! Then clusters of them! Realities! Dimensions!" It shouted.
"That is what I expect. You will use the gifts I grant you to spread the human bloodline as far as you can! You will give birth to as many of your people as possible! As the original, you obviously become the centerpiece! The core, of the hivemind, I presume. With this position, you become privy to all knowledge discovered by all humans. You can tap into all of their power. All of their life force. All of their mental strength! You can use them as if they were but another finger! But that is not the only strength I will gift you." It continued.
Ibrahim could not see it, but a finger had outstretched.
"As my first direct, detailed individual... I will grant you the power of... {Destined Life}..."
In that moment, there was an explosion of energy as magic particles boomed from the entity, flying towards the unsuspecting Ibrahim.
On a metaphysical level, these magicules wrapped around the human boy's soul, shining a hue of blue before digging deep into the white spherical cloud.
"As someone with such a grand fate... I cannot allow for your death! Death is something that is not in your destiny! You will never die! Ahahah! You will reach levels far above that of average carbon life!" The entity laughed once more.
"Oh right, levels. Maybe I should... Agh! But I don't wish to restart right now! I just went through all this to make him..."
Ibrahim was shivering.
He wished to glance upwards, feeling the overwhelming energy within him, and hearing the strange words of his creator.
But he could not look upwards.
He feared the power of the mighty entity, and he did not want to anger it in the slightest!
"Just look. I don't care for something so lowly. Respect? What an interesting concept... I did in fact imbue you with the common human morals and functionality of the past futures after all..." With those words, it was as if a hand was on his chin, lifting his head up.
And now, he could see that the entity had gotten a few steps closer. It was tapping a foot on the ground as it seemed to have returned to it's deep thought.
"Okay listen!" Abruptly, it bent down, locking eyes with he.
"I have seen many concepts, artifacts, and creations amongst my expansive life time... I have chosen to implement a... Network. I have given a value to power. I have given, structure... To what I once thought did not need it. As the Architect of Power. The Architect of this new system... I have full control over it, ignoring my other abilities." An eerie smile grew on the entity's face, Ibrahim could only perspire further.
"AS THE ARCHITECT!" It started to laugh, maniacally at that. "I dub you, the first creation to adopt a connection with the Power Network."
And then, a small light followed these words.
In the center of Ibrahim's vision, appeared a square. A metaphysical, two dimensional construct, one that spewed light out into reality, but only from Ibrahim's perspective.
"Other's will be assisted by the Power Network unknowingly. They should be able to find their ways through the Power Scaling, but they will not hold a connection with the Network itself... You are a special one, Ibrahim. I think this is all you need to succeed in your life time. Or perhaps... Life times..." Amidst the confusion sprouted by the maniacal laughter, shaking words, and glowing square, Ibrahim was barely able to perceive the disappearance of the crazed figure.
"Oh but I will leave you with this of course. Your species relies on sexual reproduction." He could barely notice the swirling of soil to his side, not paying any mind to the forming human next to him.
Through it all, what he was more focused on was the glowing square.
The square that had now multiplied into two.
The squares that housed weird contrasting squiggles and lines, that he strangely could understand.
[You have connected to the Power Network.]
[The Architect is watching.]

*[Evaluation]: A human being destined for greatness. Directly created by the Architect itself, and blessed with the amazing Skill of {Destined Life}. As it stands, this "Fated One" has a Power Value of [1]. He can hardly even survive a falling rock! A true disappointment when compared to the grandeur of the Architect's other creations...

With a confused expression on his face, Ibrahim slowly readjusted his posture.
He turned, coming to a seated position on the dirt ground.
"Ibrahim?" A soft and flowery voice sounded from the side.
Though he did not pay it any mind.
The boy was taking his time to absorb all that had just happened to him.
It was a lot to take in, for sure.
