Chapter 3: "Who's there!"
The scene changed to the planet not far from the highest entity.
Waves crashed on this tumultuous land, the sea throwing attacks at the landside.
Funniest of all was the contrasting scenery!
The sky was bright, a blazing star shining light onto the world, giving a warm feeling and a golden luster.
Yet the beach was faced with raging waters, lawlessly stealing any lifeform residing on the sandy shores.
Not far from this shore, a small beast broke the forest foliage, stepping foot into the grassy clearing that existed before the coastline.
It grunted and shouted as it stepped around with its hunchback. It held a look of wariness on it's face. The creature wore coverings around its body. There were bestial hides wrapped around it, protecting it's chest, upper arms, upper legs, and groin.
This creature was composed of flesh, a carbon based life form. It had fur along it's body, but not much. The predominantly hairy areas were the top of it's head, it's arms, and it's back.
It's visible skin was dark, as if burnt by the star. It's eyes were a bright pale blue, and its teeth were sturdy and well built.
Looking forward, any knowledgeable reader would be able to make the inference...
This creature was actually a variant of early human!
This unevolved human strutted through the grassy clearing, disgruntled and clearly annoyed.
It was male, and it seemed to have heightened senses of anger, perhaps evolved to better protect his growing offspring.
Steadily, he approached the clearing ledge, looking out towards the raging sea below.
Sounds escaped from his mouth, coherent structure being clear to those that paid attention.
These sounds formed real words! A system of communication that was semi-advanced.
"The Ocean Gods are filled with wrath once more." This irritated primal was actually well spoken, far more knowledgeable among his peers.
His stabbed his weaponry onto the ground beside him, the sharp stone on the butt of his spear digging into the earth.
It was a double edged pole, with the main tip being armed with the sharp tooth of a large beast.
The human man sat down, one of his legs moving off of the edge, and dangling free.
The other hugged his chest, his arm resting itself atop as his other palm supporting him on the ground.
"We people have no chance of survival in this cruel world..." He sighed, his anger shooting through the roof.
"Why are you crying? You clearly have the chance to do anything you want in this cruel world!" A booming voice almost ruptured his ear drums.
The human's anger heightening to the max. He jumped into action, one of his hands clutching his bleeding ear while the other helped him rise while steadying his weapon.
"Ah, what happened to your sound receptors? Was I too loud?..." He tried to stabilize himself as he looked forward towards the forest line.
No matter where he looked in front of him, he could not find the source of the sounds.
As a result, the human was quickly drowned with fear.
Sound but no source? Such a deep and grating voice, it could only belong to massive and domineering creature! Yet he was at a complete loss!
"Who's there!" The human shouted, fearfully. His face was still scrunched up, anger laced behind the fear creating a strange fluctuating expression.
Then, a creature broke through the line of the foliage.
"Me! It's me!" A joyful laugh reverberated out. "You're a human right? You have a world's mind, you can easily become strong enough to protect your people. Only a few... thousand years? Oh, maybe you're too weak to live. Wow is this how weak all of you are?"
Looking forward, the human could see a disgusting sight before him.
A roughly shaped ball of meat crawled through the bushes, appearing in the clearing. There were eyes in places that should not be, arms poking into the sky, even legs, claws, and tails squirming about.
The human... Upon hearing the horrifying squelching sounds of this creature, and the eye sickening visage it carried.
He hurled.
Blegh!
His earlier feedings finding themselves back out into the world they originated from.
"Haha! I'm so beautiful that you can't handle it!" The entity joked.
"Kidding. Of course I know that your kind isn't used to something as weird looking as I am... It's unfortunate actually..." It continued.
"Anyway, stop crying human! Just use magicules and become strong and stuff! You're supposed to reinforce your mind and body and all that stuff! Then one day you can start embarking upon the path of Codes! Tapping into the Source Material of the universe as you one day come to the peak where you stand only below me and are limited by no existential processes!" The extremities on this creature wriggled and shook as it's voice shook inside the mind of the human.
He could hear it's every sound clearly, their meanings being translated smoothly.
But every sound was still grating! It felt as if the creature's words were damaging his entire skull. His ears bled, his eyes became bloodshot, and his mind was filled with splitting pains!
Staring forward, he could feel himself dwindling. His eyes blinked slowly, and the sounds began to become muffled.
"Did you understand my words? I'm talking directly to your... Ah... Sorry I didn't mean to kill you!" The huge ball of flesh chuckled towards the end of his speech, a laugh escaping it as the human before it tumbled to the ground.
His weaponry bounced against the grass. It's owner laid face down, sinking into the earth as all of it's bodily processes ceased to continue.
"My mind is too strong to communicate with lesser existences directly! How shit that is!" The flesh monster spun around, aiming to return towards the foliage.
"But humans... Hmm..." It's internal voice faded, none of the words it spoke having been released into the outside world this whole time.
But accompanying the fading monologue was a physical change. The creature morphed as it entered the foliage.
The thousands of extremities were ridden of. A smooth flesh, dark skinned male creature standing tall as it's left foot returned to the trees in which it came.
The tall, bipedal creature adopted a smile on it's face. It's blue eyes shone with a deep luster as the newly adopted human form disappeared fully behind the leaves.
"Humans! Humans! Humans!~" A voice escaped into the outside world, as the entity adapted to it's new organ.
Vocal cords!
