Fighting Ichigo was not on Sora's bingo book for the day—though it was there.

He was planning to fight him in like a year or two, when Ichigo had more experience. After all, even if their potential was similar, Ichigo's growth would appear faster than Sora's for one simple reason.

Sora was like a goalpost for the boy, while when Sora himself was training back then, he had practically been born the strongest—he was his own goalpost.

Apart from his goal of beating Yhwach, he never had a true challenge. Long story short, Ichigo's growth would appear faster because, unlike Sora, he had things that Sora had lacked back then.

Even then, it wasn't like Sora was going to let himself lose to Ichigo—he had a pride to keep, after all.

"Tensa Zangetsu."

Jeez, Ichigo really wanted to beat him.

Ichigo was on guard, while Sora had his hand in his pocket.

"Give me your best," Sora added lazily.

Ichigo rushed at Sora, swinging his blade at the boy. Sora raised his hand and blocked the sword strike with his bare hand.

"For all that bravado, you're quite weak."

"I'm just getting started."

"That's good. Don't disappoint me."

Ichigo jumped back, to which Sora just smiled. The very next second, he disappeared from Ichigo's sight.

On instinct, Ichigo swung his sword behind him—

Sora had to jump away from the attack.

'He has good instincts,' Sora thought as he glanced at Ichigo.

The very next second, Sora began using Lichtschritt alongside Seelenbild at the same time—20 or so Soras could be seen walking all around Ichigo.

"Let's see how good your instincts are," they all said in unison.

This was beginning to grate on Ichigo's nerves—it felt like he was being toyed with.

Feeling like attacking the clones recklessly wouldn't work, Ichigo decided to use his brain... Yes, he had one of those.

"Getsuga Tenshō!"

An immense amount of spiritual energy was released from Ichigo's blade, destroying everything in its path.

The clones looked stunned as every single one of them was destroyed.

"Where is he?" Ichigo muttered, looking around. Sora had to be somewhere.

"What are you looking for?" a rather calm voice said.

"Sora, th—" Ichigo froze, turning around to see Sora smiling at him as if looking for himself.

Sora felt Ichigo's spiritual pressure flare... Oh.

Fun.

Ichigo swung his blade at Sora, who ducked under it before proceeding to parry Ichigo's blow.

He could tell the boy was improving.

So much so, in fact, that Sora couldn't keep both of his hands in his pockets... Now, only one hand could stay there.

But that wasn't cool—that just looked like he was trying too hard to be nonchalant. And thus, Ichigo forced him to use two hands.

Well, at least that was better than Uryū.

Somewhere else, Uryū, in the middle of training, suddenly felt the need to use his Schrift on his cousin/brother... for no other reason than just doing it.

Sora was 100% being annoying.

Meanwhile, Sora felt rather odd... As he weaved and dodged through Ichigo's blows, he found himself having to use more and more power.

So much more power... The boy's strength was growing. It felt as if his Hollow and Shinigami sides were harmonizing, as if whatever was holding them back was being suppressed.

"Getsuga Tenshō!"

"Aw, come on. Don't you have any better moves?" Sora said as he bitch-slapped the attack away.

"Geistregen."

Sora fired a barrage of Reishi bullets at Ichigo, watching as the boy dodged each one with finesse. He was getting very good at using Shunpo.

Geistregen was basically Sturmregen—the only real difference was that Geistregen's bullets were actually bullet-sized, while Sturmregen fired beams of energy. Thousands upon thousands of beams.

So, in a sense, Geistregen was a weaker version of Sturmregen.

"Leerer Wirbel."

While Ichigo was busy parrying his earlier barrage, Sora raised his gun again, spinning the Reishi around inside rapidly, creating a vortex within the Gintō before firing it off at Ichigo.

Sora watched with a smile as a vortex enveloped Ichigo, trapping him inside.

Now Ichigo had nowhere to run. And since a lot of Reishi bullets were already inside this move, Ichigo had to block all of the ones coming at him.

This was fun for Sora—very fun. He could use this to test his new system.

While the hybrid/group project was busy blocking all those blows, Sora took out another Gintō. Yes, this whole time, he had not been using his own Reiryoku for his bullets, meaning his tank was still full.

Anyway, he began condensing the Reishi within the Gintō he was holding, making sure to aim at Ichigo while he was busy.

"Durchdringender Stern."

As the shot left the gun barrel, the sheer power behind the blow was there for the whole world to witness.

"Getsuga Tenshō!"

Sora watched with mild amusement.

The two attacks met midair—

A deafening explosion of light and energy sent shockwaves rippling outward, shattering nearby structures and carving deep scars into the ground beneath them.

The force of their clash momentarily blinded everything in a sea of blue and black. Sparks of stray Reishi scattered like embers in the aftermath, the sheer pressure forcing both combatants to brace themselves.

As the dust settled, Sora could see Ichigo still standing, breathing heavily but unwavering. His amber eyes locked onto Sora's, a fierce determination burning within them.

Sora grinned. He's growing... and fast.

Ichigo dashed forward in a blur, Shunpo carrying him straight into Sora's space, Zangetsu swinging in a deadly arc.

But Sora was ready.

With a flicker of blue light, a Reishi blade materialized in his hand, clashing against Ichigo's sword with a resounding clang! The impact sent sparks flying as the two warriors exchanged a flurry of blows—Ichigo pressing forward with brute strength and instinct, while Sora countered with precision and efficiency, testing his opponent's reactions.

Strike after strike, their blades met in a deadly rhythm, neither backing down. But Sora couldn't help but smirk.

'He's adapting...'

Ichigo's movements were sharpening. His swings were becoming more controlled, more refined. He wasn't just swinging wildly anymore—he was thinking, adjusting mid-fight.

Sora seemed to be getting very excited... a bit too excited.

He wouldn't do anything drastic, would he?

"Angriffsharmonie: Himmlisches Arsenal."

The air behind him shimmered and twisted as a vast array of Reishi-forged weapons—swords, spears, arrows, and axes—materialized in perfect formation. Each weapon gleamed with an ethereal blue glow, radiating deadly precision.

Ichigo's instincts screamed at him. This wasn't just an attack; it was an onslaught.

And then—

Sora launched.

Pov change.

Sora could be seen handing Shinji roughly 400,000 yen.

If one were wondering why... one glance around would reveal that the entire area had been utterly leveled.

"Maybe next time, hold back."

"Well, I was trying—"

"You clearly failed," Lisa's voice cut in, making Sora look away nervously.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to use that much power. If you want, I can add more cash."

"400,000 yen is plenty enough," Hachi's voice came in.

"Okay."

Ichigo sat up, still looking pissed. "You felt bad?! You literally nuked me with swords! You call that training?!"

"You survived, didn't you?"

"Barely!"

"You wouldn't die in front of Orihime. You love her too much for that."

"What the hell does she have to do with me surviving?!"

"Look behind you, Orihime!"

Ichigo turned his head around... just to see he had been fooled.

Ichigo's eye twitched.

Before Ichigo could do anything, Sora was gone. He was speed, using Lichtschritt to get away.

So hum, current Sora {suppressed} is stronger than the Aizen in Soul society, by suppressing I mean glove on and no Volstandig, his shrift and the almighty are game though.

Next week is like the Kaede special, from chapters 96 all the way to 99. I'm sure you guys will enjoy her personality, and it might even provide some hints about who the dad is—who knows?
