As Mega Rayquaza dove down in its [Dragon Ascent] stance, Dialga and Palkia didn't remain idle.

After shaking off the post-attack delay and stabilizing time and space to prevent a temporal collapse, both dragons launched a fresh assault on Eternatus.

Two spiraling waves of draconic energy erupted from Dialga and Palkia's mouths, slamming into Eternatus just a heartbeat before Rayquaza's finishing blow landed.

At that moment, Eternatus was fully engaged in its struggle with Mewtwo. Though it sensed the incoming attack in advance, there was nowhere to dodge while under siege from all sides. It had no choice but to channel energy from its core, forming a desperate shield across its body.

Boom!

The twin [Dragon Pulses] struck simultaneously, exploding with wild, chaotic force.

The shield—formed from Dynamax energy—managed to absorb part of the blast, but not all. It shattered a second later.

And just as the shield broke apart, Mega Rayquaza streaked down at breakneck speed, its body wreathed in that iconic green aura. It tore through the smoke and flame and slammed squarely into Eternatus's back.

"Hit confirmed!"

The watching audience erupted into cheers.

Especially the people of Galar. Even those who knew nothing about Pokémon battles could tell—this was the creature responsible for everything. The region's upheaval, the [Dynamax] wild Pokémon attacks—Eternatus was the source of it all. And now it had taken a clean hit. Of course they applauded.

To the audience, it was just a hit.

But to Luo Yuan, it was the decisive blow—the turning point of the entire battle.

Luo Yuan called out.

With its core hit again, and surrounded on both sides by relentless enemies, Eternatus finally lost all ability to resist. The moment after, it was swallowed whole by Mewtwo's surging psychic torrent.

With a sharp thrust, Mewtwo raised its spoon high—hoisting Eternatus into the air in silent triumph.

The sight of Mewtwo lifting Eternatus overhead sent shockwaves through the crowd below.

Luo Yuan stepped out from behind Deoxys's protective field.

Was Eternatus strong?

To be fair—yes, very strong.

In a one-on-one, especially if it had time to fully [Eternamax], even Luo Yuan wouldn't have had full confidence in beating it.

But the real world doesn't care about fairness.

Or perhaps—choosing not to bring a full Team Rocket army and facing Eternatus with just his own team—that was fairness enough.

He raised a hand and snapped his fingers. A Master Ball shot out, captured the limp Eternatus from Mewtwo's spoon, and flew back into Luo Yuan's palm.

Eternatus — gotcha!

He didn't bother with Hop, who was still hesitating below, nor the Trainers nervously inching closer now that the battle was done.

Just as Luo Yuan turned to leave—

A familiar presence suddenly flared into his awareness.

"Hmm?"

He turned toward the edge of the rooftop.

From a corner of the tower, Giratina had emerged—half its body sticking through a dark portal. It was clearly trying to squeeze itself back in.

As their eyes met, Giratina froze, wearing a look that could only be described as… awkward.

It wasn't fully in or out—just stuck there, lodged in the portal.

Luo Yuan blinked, genuinely surprised that Giratina could make such a complicated expression. But he also had a good guess why it had shown up.

There was really only one explanation: it had been drawn here by Dialga and Palkia's attacks.

After all, using [Spacial Rend] and [Roar of Time] had to have shaken the Distortion World.

So of course Giratina came to check.

"Giratina!" Luo Yuan called out.
