Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System

Chapter 158: Do I Call An Ambulance?!

Hugo sat frozen on the couch, staring at Loli like his brain had completely shut down. She was so beautiful it felt like his eyeballs were being blessed, and honestly, he was surprised he hadn't passed out yet.

His heart thudded like a drum, his thoughts running wild. 'Should I… make a move?'

This was one of the greatest dilemmas Hugo had ever faced in his 18 years of existence.

He was battling with himself in his seat, trying to determine whether to risk everything in one gamble.

His imagination took over. If he leaned in and kissed her now, she might look shocked for a second, but then her lips would curl into a smile, and she'd melt into his arms, whispering,

"Hugo, I've been waiting for you to do this." Then he'd deepen the kiss and explore all the other tantalizing spots of her body with his lips.

He could already hear the victory music playing in his head like the final boss of life had just been defeated.

But then the darker side of his brain chimed in.

'Or… she might slap me so hard my teeth would end up in the hallway, and I'd have to explain to the entire dorm why I got kicked out for being a creep, and the entire building will know Hugo the Fool tried to kiss Loli the Goddess'

The image of himself lying flat on the sidewalk, his textbooks scattered around him, made him shudder. He couldn't survive another social death or academic death for that matter.

'Nope. Bad idea. Abort mission. It's too risky. Let's play it safe,' Hugo decided. He took a deep breath and pulled out his textbooks, trying to act normal.

But just as he opened the first page, Loli stood up, grabbed his arm, and tugged him off the couch.

"Come on, let's sit on the floor. It's easier to use the coffee table," she said, her voice cheerful and light.

Before Hugo could even process what was happening, he was on the floor beside her.

He blinked at her, surprised by how relaxed and ordinary she acted despite being so drop-dead gorgeous.

There was no poshness, no high-and-mighty attitude—just a girl in comfy clothes, ready to help him with his homework. It was oddly refreshing.

Loli started flipping through his notes, frowning at the mess he'd made of them. "You're always rushing to finish your assignments," she said, shaking her head. "You need to take your time."

Hugo smirked, leaning back slightly. "So I can see you more often after class, obviously."

Loli froze for a moment, then burst out laughing. She gave him a light punch on the arm, her cheeks pink. "You're such a flirt!"

'That's the plan,' Hugo thought proudly, rubbing his arm where she'd hit him.

She began explaining the first question, leaning over the coffee table as she wrote in his notebook.

Hugo was supposed to be paying attention, but his eyes kept drifting to her side profile.

The way her lashes caught the light, the soft curve of her cheek, the delicate slope of her nose—it was all too much. His heart raced like a car in a street race.

"Hey," he said casually, interrupting her explanations. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

Loli froze, her pen hovering mid air. Slowly, she turned to look at him, and Hugo noticed her cheeks beginning to redden.

Her expression wavered for a second before she gave an awkward laugh. "No," she said quickly, her voice a little higher than usual.

'Why does she look so nervous?' Hugo wondered, his eyebrows furrowing.

But before he could dwell on it, Loli returned to explaining the assignment, although her hand trembled slightly as she wrote on his notebook.

About thirty minutes later, Hugo's mind started wandering again. 'Should I make a move now?' he thought.

This time, they were sitting even closer, their shoulders brushing slightly. The warmth of her skin was almost distracting enough to make him forget the homework entirely.

'Okay, maybe Sanchez was right about the triangle thing. Let's test this out,' Hugo thought, his heart pounding. Read the latest on empire

As Loli explained the next problem, Hugo casually looked at her left eye, then her right eye, then her lips.

He repeated the process, trying to be subtle. Left eye. Right eye. Lips. Over and over.

Loli's words began to falter. "So, uh, the answer is… um…" Her face turned as red as a tomato with each pass.

Before Hugo could complete another round of his triangle stare, Loli shot to her feet like a rocket. "I-I need water!" she stammered, backing away from him.

Her body was shaking, and she looked almost panicked, her hands clutching the edge of the coffee table for support.

"Hey, are you okay?" Hugo asked, standing up cautiously. "You're shaking. Are you sick or something?" He stepped closer, reaching out as if to check her temperature.

"Stay back!" Loli screamed, her voice cracking as she stumbled backward, nearly tripping over her own feet.

Hugo froze, his hand still in the air. 'What the hell just happened?' he thought, his brain short circuiting. 'Did I do something wrong? Is she allergic to eye contact?'

He stared at her, baffled, as she pressed herself against the wall like she was trying to merge with it. Her chest heaved as she tried to catch her breath, her face still bright red.

'Great. Just great. I've officially scared the most beautiful girl on the planet,' Hugo thought, panicking internally.

'What do I even do now? Do I apologise? Do I leave? Do I… call an ambulance?!'

But before he could say anything, Loli shot him a glare that was half panic, half embarrassment.

"Just… just sit down and don't come near me!" she managed to squeak out.

Hugo blinked, still standing like a statue. 'What. The. Actual. Hell.
