Superman's Saiyan little brother

Chapter 626: Chapter 626: The Dimension's Furious Tremor

"No choice, this brat is too unruly. Better kill him and start over!" Robert shrugged helplessly at Kara, still stepping on Brandon's face as he spoke.

"You can't kill me! I am a god! The future ruler of Earth! You will be punished!" Brandon, struggling desperately under Robert's foot but unable to move, shouted furiously at Robert upon hearing his conversation with Kara.

"A god? Who is this guy?" Robert raised an eyebrow and looked at Kara, who had arrived earlier, and asked.

"I'm not entirely sure, but this guy seems capable of releasing heat vision from his eyes. He doesn't look like a Martian, so maybe he's one of us Kryptonians?" Kara furrowed her brows, recalling what she had seen earlier, and communicated her thoughts to Robert telepathically.

Kara's memories of Krypton were more extensive than Clark's, but it was impossible for her to know everyone from Krypton. Furthermore, when Krypton was destroyed, some might have escaped certain death using spacecraft, just like Kara did.

As for the issue of Brandon being so young, it wasn't unexplainable. Kara, who was supposed to be Clark's older cousin, ended up becoming his younger cousin due to some time anomaly. The vast universe could easily cause such temporal anomalies.

"You might be overthinking it. His aura is different from Earthlings, but it's not similar to yours, Clark's, or the Martian Manhunter's. It's more likely that his life form evolved to develop similar abilities naturally," Robert concluded after carefully sensing Brandon's condition, trying to address Kara's concerns.

"We don't know if there are more of his kind. Honestly, if he hadn't provoked us, we could have let him grow a bit before dealing with him," Robert added.

"Could he be from some kind of godly race?" Kara speculated, her gaze flickering as she looked at Brandon under Robert's foot.

Not all deities were extraterrestrial, but there were pantheons like Asgard. Moreover, it's not just Earth that births pantheons; almost every planet with civilizations generates faith, which can lead to the birth of various divine races.

The probability of powerful beings emerging from such divine races is much higher than through step-by-step evolution. Kara suspected Brandon might be a result of this.

"Are you scared? If so, release me and kneel in loyalty, and I might spare..." Brandon, unable to see or hear Robert and Kara's telepathic conversation, mistook their silence for fear and tried to bluff his way to freedom.

But before he could finish, he heard cracking sounds inside his head as his skull began to fracture.

"No! No! You can't kill me!" Brandon finally felt the threat of death, his arrogant demeanor changing to one of pleading.

Despite his alien origin and awakening to his dark side after killing his parents, Brandon was still a living being, and the fear of death is hard to eradicate.

Feeling his skull shattering, Brandon's body started to tremble slightly.

However, Robert's expression remained unchanged. He acknowledged Brandon's impressive durability, but Brandon had yet to fully mature. Compared to Hancock, Brandon's strength was notable, but he was no match for Robert.

With a "pop," Robert's continuous pressure caused Brandon's head to explode completely, without even creating a dent in the ground below, as Robert used his telekinesis to protect the surface from any damage.

Having caused enough destruction to Earth, Robert figured he should occasionally protect it when he had the chance.

From a distance, Hancock, still hovering in the air, swallowed nervously. He had been frozen in place since Kara's arrival, stunned as he watched Robert and Kara interact. Hancock couldn't believe that the invincible Brandon, who had given him so much trouble, was so easily defeated by Robert without even a chance to fight back.

This sight completely terrified Hancock. With his current understanding, he couldn't grasp Robert's true power. He had always thought Clark, as Superman, was Earth's strongest, but seeing Robert made him doubt if Clark could even stand against Robert.

Despite Hancock's fear, Robert and Kara paid him no mind, not only because he was weaker than Brandon but also because he seemed well-behaved and not like a supervillain. They could deal with him after handling Brandon.

Yes, Brandon wasn't completely dealt with yet. In this world, the vitality of strong beings was incredibly robust. Despite his head being crushed, Brandon's body still twitched, and new flesh sprouted from his neck, slowly regenerating, making the scene quite eerie.

"Such strong vitality!" Robert marveled at the sight. However, this was partly because he hadn't used any energy attacks. Pure physical damage without enchantment was somewhat less effective.

With a "buzz," Robert gathered a terrifying energy wave in his hand and blasted it at Brandon's body, causing a small mushroom cloud to rise and some minor ground subsidence.

Despite his advanced telekinetic abilities, Robert couldn't completely shield the ground from his energy wave's destruction, especially when aiming to obliterate every cell of his target.

But just as Robert's energy wave obliterated Brandon's body, his expression changed as he sensed an infernal presence.

"What's happening?" Kara noticed Robert's change in demeanor and looked at him hesitantly, her aura ready to respond to any sudden threat.

"A remnant soul?" Robert's eyes gleamed as his soul power surged. He launched a soul-powered energy wave at Brandon's residual soul.

With a "buzz," the infernal aura grew stronger, and Robert sensed the world around him beginning to tremble.

This tremor was so terrifying that it felt like the entire Earth was shaking, far worse than any earthquake. If Earth truly trembled like this, its environment would undergo drastic changes, and few life forms would survive.

However, Earth itself wasn't undergoing such tremors. Robert's sensation wasn't an illusion; it was the Earth's dimensional energy shaking, or rather, the entire dimension was trembling.

"Pop!" Robert's soul energy wave dissipated instantly, unable to strike Brandon's remnant soul, as if it had never existed.

But Brandon's remnant soul wasn't faring well either. Under such dimensional tremors, it was on the verge of collapsing.

At this moment, the infernal dimensional energy intensified, seizing Brandon's remnant soul. Robert vaguely saw millions of souls being taken by the infernal dimension.

As these souls vanished, the tremors grew stronger, overwhelming Robert's senses, causing his head to ache.

In a daze, Robert heard a familiar voice: "Hehe, it's just a few souls. Why so stingy? Didn't I give you a portion of the rule's power? It's quite powerful, right? But if you can't digest it, that's not my fault..."

Lucifer! In an instant, Robert recognized the voice, confirming his suspicion that Lucifer was behind the recent misfortunes on Earth.

With a "buzz," as Lucifer's voice faded, Robert's observation power shattered, preventing him from seeing what was happening between dimensions. This made Robert frown; he had identified the culprit but had no clue how to resolve the chaos Lucifer had caused.

Moreover, Robert knew that the increasingly self-aware Earth dimension was now definitely upset. Lucifer's actions were worse than a home invasion; after robbing, he even mocked the homeowner. He almost physically assaulted the homeowner.

Of course, given Lucifer's power, actually beating up the Earth dimension would be challenging.

Meanwhile, in the infernal dimension, Lucifer in his domain didn't look as carefree as Robert imagined. In fact, he seemed a bit pained.

"I never expected so many souls suited for the infernal dimension on Earth. The souls of those who died tragically and those who narrowly escaped are more valuable than I thought. No wonder the infernal dimension's consciousness intervened..." Lucifer muttered, looking at the souls floating in his domain.

If Robert were there, he would notice that the number of souls was less than half of what he had seen earlier, likely taken by the infernal dimension's consciousness as a fee or something.

"Well, without the infernal dimension's consciousness, I couldn't have brought these souls here. Losing a few isn't a big deal. With this remnant soul, I might even get a hell lord-level son..." Lucifer sighed, then summoned Brandon's weakened remnant soul.

With a "buzz," Lucifer touched Brandon's remnant soul, solidifying it. Brandon's form began to change, retaining his childlike body but growing demonic horns and a tail. The only constant was his demon-like red eyes.

"This will take some time to reshape, no rush. Meanwhile, I should consider where to vacation next..." Lucifer mused, satisfied with Brandon's new form. "Earth's the most interesting place, but it's off-limits now. Which other civilization might catch my interest? Maybe sneak into another universe? Other universes' Earths shouldn't have dimensional consciousness like this one, right?"
