Chapter 155: Avengers XX
A week had passed since Aizen moved to New York with his daughter. During this time, Aizen, Tony, and the others worked diligently to create plans for the organization, which was now officially named the Avengers.
They worked tirelessly on the groundwork, refining strategies and preparing their resources. Finally, they were ready to announce the formation of the organization to the entire world.
A horde of reporters crowded the Avengers Tower today, buzzing with excitement and speculation. Tony Stark had announced that he was going to reveal a world-changing innovation, sparking massive interest across the globe.
The reporters, armed with cameras and microphones, eagerly awaited the announcement. Speculations ran wild—some believed Tony might have developed advanced alien-fighting weapons, while others theorized he might unveil a plan to mass-produce his iconic armor for public use.
The atmosphere was electric as everyone anticipated the moment when Tony Stark would step forward to share his groundbreaking revelation.
As the gates of the Avengers Tower opened, a flood of reporters surged forward, eager to capture every moment of the monumental event. The stage, meticulously arranged with rows of chairs and a central podium, was surrounded by cameras clicking incessantly as the excitement reached its peak.
One by one, key figures made their entrance.
First came James Rhodes, confidently stepping in and taking a seat on the stage. Following him were familiar faces like Diana, Pepper Potts, Emma Frost, Trish, Boa Hancock, Captain America, Hawkeye, Natasha Romanoff, and finally Dave, walking beside Tony Stark. Each arrival heightened the intensity, with murmurs of speculation rippling through the crowd.
The atmosphere changed when Aizen walked in. His sharp, sophisticated look in a pristine business suit caught everyone's attention. Adjusting his glasses, his calm demeanor and neatly combed hair exuded authority. With Misaka Minato holding his hand, Aizen took his seat gracefully, the cameras clicking furiously to capture every second of his poised entrance.
Tony stepped up to the podium, raising a hand to quiet the restless crowd. The room fell silent as he smirked and said, "Alright, let's get this started." His voice carried the same confidence that had captivated the world for years, setting the stage for the announcement that would change everything.
Tony leaned forward, gripping the edges of the podium with a mischievous grin. "Ladies and gentlemen, today marks the beginning of a new era—an era of unity, innovation, and unwavering defense for humanity. But first..." He gestured behind him, where holographic displays flickered to life, showcasing scenes of the Avengers' past triumphs, from battling Loki's invasion to defeating his army.
"These moments, while significant, were just the beginning. We realized that defending the Earth isn't just about defeating threats—it's about creating a future where those threats can never take root. And that's why," Tony paused, letting the suspense build, "we're unveiling the Global Strategic Peacekeeping Initiative."
Gasps erupted from the crowd as a massive hologram of the Earth appeared, overlaid with glowing markers representing key hubs of the new organization.
"This initiative isn't just an extension of the Avengers. It's a global network, combining the brightest minds, the most advanced technology, and the unparalleled skills of individuals from every corner of the planet. Together, we're building the ultimate safeguard against threats—alien or otherwise."
As the reporters frantically took notes, Tony stepped aside, gesturing to Aizen. "And to ensure the success of this vision, we've appointed a new leader for this initiative—someone with unmatched intellect, strategy, and vision. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Sosuke Aizen."
Aizen rose gracefully, his calm demeanor commanding attention. He approached the podium, adjusting his glasses with a serene smile. "Thank you, Mr. Stark," he began, his voice smooth and composed. "This initiative represents more than just protection. It's a statement—a promise—that we will no longer wait for danger to come to us. We will stand united, prepared, and proactive."
The crowd was captivated as Aizen continued, "This organization will operate not as a military force, but as a unifying body—working alongside governments, ensuring peace, and guiding humanity toward a safer future. Our mission transcends politics. It is rooted in the survival and prosperity of our world."
Behind him, the hologram shifted, showcasing state-of-the-art technology, futuristic defenses, and a united front of heroes and innovators.
Tony chimed in, "Now, before you start asking, 'What's the catch?'—there isn't one. We're not taking over the world. We're making sure it stays in one piece. And for those who think this is just a publicity stunt..." Tony smirked. "You'll see soon enough. We're already working on technologies that'll make the alien invasion look like a warm-up drill."
Dave, sitting in the background, observed silently, a faint smile on his lips as he let Tony and Aizen take the lead. Steve leaned over and whispered, "He's good. Knows how to rally them."
"Of course," Dave replied. "I wouldn't have chosen him otherwise."
As Aizen concluded his speech, reporters shouted questions, their voices blending into a chaotic chorus. Tony raised his hands again. "Easy, folks! One at a time. Trust me, you'll get all the answers you need—starting tomorrow when we launch the first phase of this initiative."
As the commotion settled slightly, a bold reporter in the front row raised her hand. "Mr. Stark, can you clarify what the first phase entails? Is it technological, diplomatic, or something else entirely?"
Tony leaned casually against the podium, flashing a confident grin. "Good question. The first phase is a mix of both. We're deploying advanced infrastructure—think automated defense systems, satellite monitoring, and AI-driven threat detection. At the same time, we're establishing diplomatic ties with nations to ensure cooperation. This isn't just about tech; it's about trust."
Another reporter stood up. "Mr. Aizen, your involvement in this initiative is somewhat unexpected. What makes you the right person to lead a global organization of this magnitude?"
Aizen stepped forward with his usual calm demeanor. "Leadership requires vision, strategy, and the ability to bring order to chaos. My experience lies in creating and managing intricate systems while anticipating potential threats. Rest assured, this organization is in capable hands."
