Chapter 163:The End_
Meanwhile, Stephen gulped uneasily.
Looking at the painting in his hand, panic abruptly rose in him.
"You are not joking, are you? This guy… This guy… How can he be that artist who made Rhododendron?" Stephen hastily blurted out.
His words were in complete disarray.
"Hmph! You think I would joke with you?" Edwin merely sneered.
He then looked over at Bright with a somewhat flattering smile.
He asked, "Mr. John, are you free tonight? If you are, I would like to arrange a banquet at Cartmel Grand Hotel. I sincerely apologize for what happened last time."
As Edwin spoke, he rubbed his hands together. There was a fawning look on his face.
Upon hearing Edwin's words, Bright casually waved his hand, saying, "No need, I have other things to do tonight."
After hearing Bright's words, Edwin didn't say anymore. He could only maintain a smile and repeatedly nod.
On the other hand, Stephen was even more flustered. After all, Edwin's confident tone served as proof of Bright's identity.
It was clear that Bright was the artist behind the Rhododendron.
Bright was indeed a supreme master of painting!
With his identity confirmed, the look on Stephen's face kept changing.
In a leisurely tone, Bright replied, "I should be the one thanking you for being so fond of my work, Mr. Worland. You spent 90 million dollars to buy the Rhododendron painting, but I do suggest that you sell it off quickly.
After all, I plan to create more paintings of this caliber after I get home. Then, I'm going to give them away as gifts to my friends."
Bright's tone was playful.
Upon hearing that from Bright, Stephen gritted his teeth in anger.
"You…!"
At that moment, Stephen looked at Bright with sheer resentment in his eyes. He knew that he had completely blown it.
If he didn't act fast, the painting's value was probably going to depreciate significantly in no time.
Meanwhile, Edwin was utterly astounded.
In his opinion, the Rhododendron was the best modern nature painting he had seen, but Bright had the ability to mass produce it.
For a moment, Edwin felt nothing but awe in his heart.
"Niamh, let's go." Bright suggested.
"Okay." Niamh nodded.
Then, after saying goodbye to Edwin, they left the value with Jenny.
Meanwhile, Edwin shot Stephen a deep glance.
Then, he said, "Mr. Rowland, you… you should just wish for the best."
Looking at Stephen with pity, Edwin then turned around and left.
Stephen was filled with regret right then.
Why on earth had he insisted on doing this? Now, he had done it.
If he couldn't get rid of this painting, that meant he had basically burned 90 million dollars.
"F*ck!"
After cursing, he hastily scurried off.
He had to figure out a way to sell off the painting.
Meanwhile, Jenny stared at Bright and Niamh with a look of resentment at the hotel entrance.
Feeling Jenny's resentful gaze, Niamh couldn't help but question, "Jenny, why are you looking at me like that?
Jenny's expression was filled with bitterness.
Immediately, she spoke up, "Niamh, did you already know that Bright is actually a supreme master of painting and that he was the one who painted the Rhododendron?"
Hearing Jenny's words, Niamh showed a trace of embarrassment.
She could only cough a few times, her gaze somewhat evasive.
In response, Jenny's gaze turned even more resentful.
Staring at Niamh, she lamented, "Look, now you are probably laughing at me! I even said that Bright probably doesn't know a thing about art. Thinking about it now is mortifying! You must have been secretly laughing your heart out inside the hotel earlier, huh?"
She silently gritted her teeth. The way she looked at Niamh was loaded with irritation.
"No, no, Jenny, don't jump to conclusions. Back then, I just… I just didn't know how to broach the subject with you!" Niamh hurriedly waved her hands as she spoke.
However, Jenny completely disregarded it.
She stated, "I don't care! Either way, you have to compensate me for my emotional distress!"
Upon hearing that, Niamh couldn't help but chuckle bitterly.
She responded, "Well then, tell me, how should I compensate for your emotional distress?"
Jenny paused thoughtfully before declaring, "Treat me to dinner tonight!"
"Sure! Forget one meal, I will treat you to ten!" Niamh declared.
"You promise?" Jenny asked.
"I promise!" Niamh confirmed.
For a moment, Niamh was caught between laughter and tears.
She didn't know why Jenny was so obsessed with food.
"Okay, it's your treat then!"
"Sure!" Niamh couldn't help but laugh bitterly.
For a moment, all she could do was shake her head.
Then, the three of them left the hotel.
After Bright and Niamh got into the car, they drove home.
When they got there, Bright checked his phone.
He looked through the 'Trillion Subsidies' app.
When the app opened, a new item instantly appeared.
It read; (100 percent of Voyage Visions shares: $99)
Upon seeing the item on offer, Bright was momentarily stunned.
Voyage Visions?
Bright had heard of the company.
It was a company that mainly focused on security products, video processing technology, and video analysis technology.
It could be considered the industry leader in security products.
"I didn't expect it to be this company." He murmured.
Without much hesitation, Bright bought it.
The pop-up read; ( Purchase successful! Your product is in transit. Estimated delivery time: 90 minutes. Please wait for your product to arrive.)
Bright didn't pay the pop-up much mind.
After closing the app, he simply laid down on the couch to play some games.
Before long, 90 minutes passed.
...
90 minutes had passed.
The doorbell of the villa rang.
After Elaine went to open the door, she placed a package in front of Bright.
Looking at the package, Bright opened it up.
Inside was a company share transfer contract as well as the company's stamp.
Bright's eyebrows raised slightly.
"The company is in my hands now. What perfect timing, I will go and check it out tomorrow." Bright murmured to himself.
"Oh, right, Melody is shooting a movie in Hanz City right now, isn't she? That's perfect! As I can stop by and see her tomorrow." He mused.
After all, Cartmel and Hanz Citu weren't very far from each other.
It would take at most around two hours to drive there himself.
Judging from the Melody's social media, the film crew had been shooting at Westinn Lake in Hanz City for the past week.
