Chapter 153: The fate of the loan sharks ending_3

However, Bright simply burst into laughter.

He shook his head lightly, then picked up his teacup and blew on it gently before taking a small sip.

Bright's lips twisted into a cold smirk.

Loga pointed at the contract on the table and loudly retorted, "What do you mean? The terms are black and white. It's clearly written in the contract!"

Bright picked up the contract from the table, after a brief glance, he simply snorted.

Then, he casually tossed it onto the ground.

"What a joke! You loan sharks are trying to bring up contracts? Don't you find it hilarious?" Bright scoffed.

At that moment, Loga was utterly speechless. The look on his face was unpleasant.

"Let me tell you one more thing, this contract of yours isn't legally viable at all. The loan amount and interest rate aren't clearly stated! Also, since the ownership of Devie's Restaurant has been transferred to me, that means the property rights of this place are clearly defined.

Are you really trying to play the part of a loan shark with your shabby skills? Hmph!" Bright sneered.

Meanwhile, anger was written all over Loga's face.

"You had better not be too arrogant, kid!" He roared.

"Really?" With a slight shake of his head, Bright sneered.

Then, he continued with an indifferent tone, "You are calling me arrogant? Hmph. You are the one who thinks he's somebody! Wouldn't it be better to honestly admit you are worthless? Do you really have to toot your own horn?"

After saying that, Bright took a sip of his tea! Then, he gently placed the cup on the table beside him.

"How dare you!" Loga's eyes were bulging, nearly spitting fire from how furious he was.

His subordinates became irritated as well.

"How dare you speak like that?"

"Do you think we are afraid of you?"

"You…"

Before they could even finish their sentence, all the bodyguards and chefs behind Bright stared at them.

Seeing the burly, muscled men, the group of lackeys gulped.

Then, they all retreated.

Bright, on the other hand, stood up, his palm rested on the corner of the table and he gave it a slight pinch.

Upon seeing that, Loga's subordinate were all pale-faced.

After gulping, each of them took a timid step back.

...…

Meanwhile, Loga was a bit stunned at that moment.

Bright walked towards Loga step by step.

As he watched the approaching Bright, a trace of fear appeared on Loga's face.

Looking at Bright, he asked, "W-what are you trying to do?"

There was a slight smile on Bright's face, but the sight of it could make one tremble.

"D-Don't come any closer!" Loga kept backing off.

In his eyes, Bright was nothing short of a monster!

With one hand, he had crushed the edge of a table. That was truly terrifying.

"Hmph! Scared now, aren't you?" Bright sneered.

Then, while staring at Loga, he spoke calmly, "Take your lackeys and get out of here! Stay away from this restaurant from now on. Otherwise, you will bear the consequences yourself."

"Yes, yes…" Loga hastily nodded.

"What's up with that cowardly attitude? Louder!" Bright shouted angrily.

That nearly scared Loga out of his wits, causing him to almost fall to the ground.

Still, he had no choice but to loudly yell, "Yes!"

"Get lost!"

With a single command, Loga and his lackeys scrambled away, falling over their feet as they hurriedly left the premises.

Seeing Loga's retreating figure, Louis then stepped forward from the side.

He stared at Loga's back before speaking, "Aren't you afraid that he's going to try and get revenge on you if you just let him go like that, Boss?"

"Revenge?" Bright sneered in response.

"If he dares to try, I don't mind teaching him a lesson on telling the difference between who he can and can't mess with." Bright's eyes were full of icy intent.

As he spoke, Louis lowered his head before nodding.

"Alright, Louis, I will need to rely on you to handle Devie's Restaurant for the next two days. Could you arrange for two local chefs from Grand Oasis Hotel to come over? Could you also recruit some waiters and cooks while you are at it?" Bright asked.

Louis quickly replied, "Of course! That's my duty."

After his response, Bright then left the kitchen.

In the front hall, Gracie came looking for him.

Gazing at Bright, she hurriedly asked, "Bright, what happened in the kitchen just now? I saw someone rushing into the kitchen with a group of lackeys."

In response to that, Bright only offered a smile.

He replied, "Nothing much, it was just some reckless fools who barged in, I ended up giving them a lesson on how to behave properly."

After Bright said that, Gracie nodded, visibly confused. "Is that so?"

"Anyway, should we head home now?" He asked.

"Sure…" Gracie nodded.

Then, the two of them took a taxi back to Lord's Cove.

There was no choice.

After all, Brigjt had been drinking, so he couldn't drive for the time being.

...

Once Bright left, Louis began to get busy.

After all, Devie's Restaurant had been deserted for a while.

It certainly required some cleaning and reorganization.

Of course, they needed to restock the food supplies as well.

.....

Meanwhile, Loga led a group of people back to Buck's Loan Company.

After returning to the CEO's office, he flopped onto the couch and lit a cigarette while cursing under his breath.

"Damn it! I didn't deserve that!" Loga's face was filled with anger and a hint of annoyance.

A figure swiveled around in the office chair, his gaze landing on Loga behind him.

The young man opened his mouth to ask, "What happened, Loga?"

"Ugh! Don't even start, Buck, it's been such a miserable day." Loga took a sharp drag on his cigarette.

With some irritation, he continued, "I just took the boys to the famous Devie's Restaurant, right? Who would have thought that the new boss of Devie's Restaurant would be such a tough nut to crack?"

"Oh? A tough nut to crack?" A smirk formed on Buck Moss lips.
