Summon of the Bloodline

Zhen Chen asked Zimo, "I need to find a medicinal herb. If I find it, can you study and test it for me? I need to know its uses and properties."

"Most herbs in this world don't support spiritual energy. If you find the herb, show it to me," Zimo replied.

Zhen Chen nodded and left the cave. Outside, it was almost dusk, so staying in the cave wasn't an option anymore.

After washing his face, Zhen Chen gazed at the sunrise from the mountain. The eastern horizon was painted with red light, and the sky looked beautiful. He caught a faint, pleasant scent and turned to see Yu Xue Yin standing nearby. She wore a white long-sleeved shirt and tight jeans, which accentuated her figure and gave off a fresh, vibrant aura.

"I want to go down to the cliff myself," Yu Xue Yin said hesitantly, her expression a mix of determination and uncertainty.

"Sister Xue Yin, do you trust me?" Zhen Chen asked.

"If you trust me, let me go down first. Then you can follow," he added.

Yu Xue Yin shook her head slightly and looked at him. Then she said, "Let's go down together."

Along the cliff, cracks and crevices were filled with plants, including some rare medicinal herbs. Zhen Chen and Yu Xue Yin ignored most of them, focusing on finding the unique herb they were after.

About halfway down the cliff, Zhen Chen sensed the presence of a herb. It was growing on the wall of a cave entrance—the very herb he had been searching for.

The cave seemed natural, but it went deep. Zhen Chen couldn't sense the end of it. He turned to Yu Xue Yin and said, "Sister Xue Yin, wait here with the dragon for a while. I've found something. I'll go down and check."

Zhen Chen signaled the little dragon to protect Yu Xue Yin and then descended toward the cave entrance.

When he reached the entrance, Zhen Chen used his spiritual sense to scan the cave but couldn't see the end. His spiritual sense could detect up to a kilometer, and since he sensed no danger, he calmly entered the cave. Inside, he found two herbs growing on the wall, and further in, many more herbs were clinging to the walls, as if someone had systematically planted them.

Zhen Chen carefully picked the unique herb and contacted Zimo, placing it in the storage plate for Zimo to study. He then continued deeper into the cave. After walking about 500 meters, the cave turned to the right and sloped downward. The walls were covered with herbs, and a sweet, refreshing scent filled the air.

After walking another kilometer, Zhen Chen suddenly came across a large stone hall. The hall was about 80 meters wide, with a small pond in the center. Zhen Chen sensed that the water in the pond was infused with dense spiritual energy.

Seeing no danger, Zhen Chen returned to bring Yu Xue Yin. She was amazed, while the little dragon was busy collecting rock samples and measuring temperatures. Zhen Chen led Yu Xue Yin into the stone hall.

There were signs that someone had lived here long ago. It seemed that this person had cultivated the herbs and arranged the spiritual water intentionally, not naturally.

As Zhen Chen explored the cave, Zimo's voice echoed in his mind.

"This herb is extraordinary. It can stimulate dense bloodline energy and even repair irregular genetic traits. For bloodline clans, this herb is incredibly valuable. It's strange that such a precious herb exists on this planet."

"Moreover, the person who cultivated this herb must be from another planet. The herb has adapted to this environment, but its properties remain the same."

"You should be careful. The person who cultivated this herb is at least at the universe-formation level. You're not a match for them. Are you sure you want to steal their herbs?"

Zhen Chen observed his surroundings and asked, "Did they build this place? Is there anything special about this cave? I feel something unusual about the environment here."

After a moment, Zimo replied in surprise, "The cave walls are inscribed with energy flow patterns. This is a life-gathering formation sealed with high-level spiritual laws. It seems to have been built specifically to awaken bloodline energy. There's also an awakening array inscribed with genetic symbols on the floor."

"For an average mid-level formation, it's more than enough for you humans. It seems someone has been quietly trying to elevate the human race."

"It's possible that a human from another planet created this. I can't say for sure what their exact intentions were, but for now, it's incredibly useful for you. If you can awaken the bloodline energy of yourself and a few others, you could establish a powerful force on this planet."

Zhen Chen was deep in thought. This matter was extremely important, and any mistake could lead to major problems. He decided to discuss it with Yu Xue Yin first and keep it secret to prevent those with selfish intentions from interfering.

Zhen Chen called Yu Xue Yin and prepared to explain everything.

"Sister Xue Yin, this matter is very important. Can you listen carefully?"

Yu Xue Yin nodded solemnly. She could sense that something extraordinary was happening.

Zhen Chen began explaining, starting from the advanced history of humanity and the importance of bloodline genetics, to the cultivation path and the significance of the cave they were in. He also explained the uniqueness and value of the herbs, as well as the background of the person who cultivated them. After listening, Yu Xue Yin fell into deep thought, her expression serious and contemplative. After some time, she began questioning Zhen Chen.

"Zhen Chen, since you can explain all this to me, can you tell me openly how you know all this?"
