Summon of the Bloodline

Chapter 15: Chapter ( 15 ) A New Horizon

As soon as Zhen Chen returned to his tent, he contacted Zi Mo and entered the training slate.

The tower's territory was abundant with spiritual energy, making it the perfect place for cultivation. The entire formation was powered by energy, and this area within the slate was an inexhaustible resource for Zhen Chen, wasn't it?

Zhen Chen's colorful spiritual energy absorbed the stones one by one into his meridians. The colorful energy strands swirled around a blue triangular stone, floating within his meridians. Zhen Chen accelerated the circulation of the energy storage. The blue energy grew denser, compressing the golden energy particles until they liquefied, forming droplets of energy at the bottom of the storage.

The faster Zhen Chen circulated the energy, the greater the pressure, and the more golden spiritual energy droplets he obtained. However, maintaining such high-speed circulation required immense mental strength, so he couldn't sustain it for long. Once his mental energy was depleted, Zhen Chen took a short break, pondering how to better utilize the energy.

Zhen Chen needed to analyze the energy usage methods from the information he had and choose the one that suited him best. Whether it was gathering, storing, or using energy, the key requirement was mental energy (spiritual power). Under the guidance and control of mental energy, the spiritual energy would move in perfect harmony. The stronger the mental energy, the more control he would have over the golden spiritual energy, allowing him to use it for both offense and defense.

The process of elemental transformation was a cultivation method primarily designed for combat. Spiritual energy could be transformed into elemental energies such as fire, water, metal, earth, and wind.

Most individuals with exceptional bloodline talents excelled in controlling these elements. They could wield elemental energy far more powerfully than ordinary people. With proper training, one could master the use of various energies. However, elemental transformation was difficult, so most people focused on mastering one or two elements.

Those with awakened bloodline energy could effortlessly control one or two specific elements and use them with great proficiency. Although Zhen Chen's bloodline had partially awakened, it wasn't a complete awakening. Due to the suppression of his bloodline genes, his awakening was only half-complete. His evolved bloodline genes had not yet awakened at all. Thus, Zhen Chen had no choice but to practice elemental transformation.

Zhen Chen closed his eyes and began sensing the surrounding elements. Zi Mo placed crystals of fire, water, wind, and metal elements around Zhen Chen. As Zhen Chen focused, he could sense all the elements, and even the energies of darkness and void. Surprised, he looked at Zi Mo and said, "I can sense all the elements, including darkness and void."

Zi Mo replied excitedly, "That's incredible! You can sense all of them. Even though your bloodline hasn't fully awakened, you can sense all types of energy. Even the sons of gods can't do that. This is a bit overwhelming, isn't it?"

Zhen Chen attempted to channel energy to his fingertips to perform elemental transformation. As he focused his mental energy on the fire element, his spiritual energy vibrated, causing small sparks to appear at his fingertips. Soon, a tiny flame formed.

Next, Zhen Chen directed his thoughts to the water element, causing his spiritual energy to vibrate and compress, transforming into a layer of water on his palm.

This was elemental transformation. Zhen Chen's heightened sensory perception and precise control over energy allowed him to quickly master the process.

Zi Mo remarked in awe, "If a partial awakening is this powerful, what will happen when it fully awakens? If your evolved bloodline awakens, your cultivation journey will be like a rocket. Ah, after so many years, I've finally found a monster like you."

Zhen Chen continued to experiment with controlling different energies. The darkness and void energies proved more challenging, requiring significant time and effort. Eventually, he managed to create a rift between darkness and void. This achievement wasn't due to Zhen Chen's potential but rather his evolved bloodline.

Evolved bloodlines could establish a foundation for various energies, allowing the cultivator to sense and create them. This was a gift from the natural world.

Through repeated practice, Zhen Chen soon became proficient in using energy. His energy storage began to accumulate energy droplets, marking his current stage as the "Energy Liquefaction" level. Concerned about his rapid progress, Zhen Chen asked Zi Mo, "Will advancing so quickly damage my foundation?"

Zi Mo chuckled, "Don't worry too much. Compared to other races, this is nothing. You're like a speck of dust compared to the high-level races born at the Earth level. The term 'lowly human race' exists because humans are indeed far behind. A child from a high-level race is already on par with the top cultivators from your planet. Don't feel bad! This is just the consequence of being 200,000 years behind and losing your bloodline energy. Humans had to start from scratch."

"The instability you're concerned about applies to those whose bloodlines haven't awakened. For true bloodline bearers, every energy transformation is supported by their bloodline, so there's no need to worry. Just stay calm."

Zhen Chen nodded thoughtfully and asked, "Then why can't I get married?"

Zi Mo laughed and explained, "That's to prevent too many descendants from being born from individuals with high potential. The formation's control ensures that only after the next shift can one marry. By then, reproductive ability is significantly reduced."

Zhen Chen sighed, "So, not only am I incapable as a man, but I also can't have children when the time comes."

Zi Mo laughed again, "Don't worry. I control the formation. I can lift those restrictions for you. By the way, do you like that girl? It would be great if you could have a child with her. There's something unusual about her bloodline."

Zhen Chen was surprised, "Are you talking about Yu Xue Yin? Is her bloodline special?"

"Yes, she's very beautiful in your eyes, isn't she? Her bloodline is unique, though I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. She's almost as exceptional as a chosen one."

"If you can keep her by your side, her bloodline might awaken one day. She'll need a little help, though."

Zhen Chen pondered deeply. Yu Xue Yin's father might have been a cultivator. He needed to learn more about her father.

What if Yu Xue Yin became a cultivator...?
