Strongest Level 1

5 years ago, a VRMMORPG Earthisia, became suddenly popular. No one knows who develops it or what company manages it, it just came. You can order the VR helmet online then after a day, it will suddenly appear outside your door like magic.
There are many debates online, that it was made by a secret organization or a secret invasion by Extra Terrestrials, It was also said that an advanced AI made it for a simulation of another world. But no one came to a conclusion.
Earthisia captivated players with its vast and boundless world, so expansive that even after years, no one had discovered its edges. The game's realism was breathtaking, with stunning landscapes, dynamic weather systems, and creatures that felt alive. What truly set it apart, however, was its lack of pain suppressors. Injuries in the game were felt as they would be in real life but not lethal, but certainly not dulled either. For many, this heightened the thrill, making every battle and exploration a pulse-pounding adventure. The magic, the danger, the possibilities, it was everything that the real world could never be.The potential to be different, is more enticing than anything. The wants to be successful is everyone's drive to be stronger.

Gerry Frey, a 17 years old boy, Brown eyes, black hair, he has sharp features too and tall. He has the talent in almost everything and he does his job efficiently but one thing is, he is an unlucky fellow.
"Everyone seems to be talking about this game, Does it really work like that?" Gerry frowned.

Although talented, he doesn't have any family because his parents died in an accident besides his little sister, Lila which he is working hard for to pay his little sister's tuition. Lila is only 2 years younger than him but he wants to do everything for his little sister. He works at a convenience store at night and goes to school at morning every weekdays. And spends his time with his little sister every weekends.

"Hey, what level are you now in Earthisia? I'm already Level 58, with a Knight as my class" a kid asked his classmate inside the store.
"58? You're so weak, I'm already 97 with the class swordsman." his classmate exclaimed.
They continue to mutter while picking what they want to buy at the convenience store Never eleven.
Soon, A blonde guy entered the store and talked to Gerry.
"Hey boss, haven't seen you for awhile now in school, how are you boss?" the blonde guy named Raven asked Gerry.
"I have to work harder to pay my sister's tuition soon, but I'll be attending tomorrow." Gerry explained.
"Boss, why don't you play Earthisia. I heard that you can earn a lot there. It's also great to play while earning money, and you have your own time too." Raven asked while he explained the benefits of the game.
"I didn't know that you can earn a lot there, I thought only streamers can earn there through donations." Gerry said.
"well, if you got a lot of rare weapons and equipment there, you can sell it to players. and that how you'll earn. though the drops are somewhat hard to get." raven explained.
"well, I'll order later and will try it out. I have extra savings here and will use it after getting my pay later." Gerry said.
Raven's phone rang and he has to leave earlier than expected. "Well, looks like I have to go boss. Please just try it, you are the most talented person I know and you'll get stronger there than most people. Bye boss."
"Okay sure, just be safe on your way" Gerry said.
Outside the Never Eleven, Raven answered the phone.
"Hello, I've tried my best to entice him to play the game. It's a matter of time before he started to play." Raven reported.

At night at the Frey residence, his little sister is waiting for him. Then Grey opened the door to their house, he saw his little sister.
"I'm home. What's for dinner tonight?" Gerry asked his little sister.
"Its Fried pork with a special sauce, my specialty. I felt like something is going to happen soon." His little sister exclaimed.
As they were eating, He opened the TV to watch the news and it is also about Earthisia.
"As the news flash for today, Yana, the only daughter of the Glade conglomerate has discovered a legendary class called "Archmage's apprentice" which gathers a lot of attention in the game. There are also talks that no one has found the Main Quest storyline of the game." The news anchor said while in front of the building of the famous conglomerate family.
"Yana." Gerry muttered.
8 years ago, when his parents was still alive, their status was the same as the Glade family. He was close with Yana as a fellow heir to the family but when his parents died he didn't inherit anything except for the house they are living. Since then, he isolated himself from everyone, even for Yana.
At midnight, Gerry ordered the VR helmet after paying his sister's tuition online.
At morning, as Gerry was about to take his trash out, he saw a box in his door and the only label is that his name, the address, and its a VR helmet and store it to open later
Gerry has to attend his classes first at the high school called Quiranes High school. and catch up for his missing classes when he was absent. (make more details here) He has the wits to catch up too because Gerry is in the top 2 of the whole school despite the circumstance.
Gerry's sit is in the back corner of the classroom near the window. He always sat there as he read the topics that he missed during his absence.
"Gerry, its been 3 days since you attended the school. Here are the notes I wrote for you during those days. I modified the contents a bit for it to be more understandable." Yana offered her notebook to Gerry.
"I'm fine Yana, I can do this alone. Just get lost or something." Gerry replied coldly.
Gerry blamed Yana's family for the death of his parents because they are the ones who take over their company after their deaths. He thought they are the scheming ones.
"Fine, I will not bother you anymore. Since your parents died you became cold to me its as if you became a different person." Yana sadly said as little tears dropped in her eyes.
The whole class passed by and Gerry didn't seems to see Raven at the class.

Back in his home, Gerry started to put on his VR helmet and play Earthisia. After putting his helmet a jolting experience could be felt as if you rode a roller-coaster falling down.
Then there he was, in a gray world with little screen indicating to input a name.
There is no character customization in the game but you can edit your In-Game-Name "IGN". His IGN is Grey which hold no meaning he just randomly typed it as he saw the gray world he was in. But after that the world came into. A buzzing wind came through as the grass flutters and light rays came upon. And soon a big letters could be seen "Welcome to the world of Earthisia" and disappeared. There is no map available in his map screen because you have to buy the map of the area first before seeing it or you had to explore the area first.
Gerry found himself in the middle of the plains with no equipment. He wandered around and still can't see other players. Maybe he got spawned into an unknown area where other players haven't explored yet. He walked and after a while you can see in a distance a kingdom but its a lot further than one thought.
He have to farm his level first before going to the kingdom, there he saw wild rabbits which are basically low-level monsters of the game.
He saw 3 wild bunnies in the Plains, so he ran after then. The wild rabbits run fast but he came up to lure them in a corner then punch them to death one-by-one.

After farming for a while, Gerry saw that many magic stones are in the ground so he thought that some kind of monster vs monster take place there which fought for territory. He could sell the magic stone for money too.Then a roar could be heard as if an Earthquake came, you can see a silhouette of a giant Dog which has a face of a dragon coming to him.

It was a Level 100 field boss called Growler and it has a title called "The one who eats."
Gerry run because of what he heard that the pain here is not suppressed so he will feel everything if he was eaten by that Giant monster.
He run and run opposite to where the kingdom is and soon he came to a nearby forest.
Then bam, his unluckiness accompanied him in the game. He fell into a hole and portal appeared and fell again into it but luckily the monster can't get in the hole where he fell.
He wandered a round, there are a lot of statues and at the end of the path there is a book. it was blanked. Maybe he can sell it for a lot because unidentified items. He could make a million peso in real life money for it. as so he was about to touch the book all the statues moved so he immediately grabbed it, then boom an explosion occurred. He died.
"You died" the system exclaimed.
"Main Quest has progressed to 1%" the system exclaimed.
"You have been.." Gerry saw a message before experiencing something.
Gerry groaned in his bed as he shouted when the explosion happened. the pain was too real, but he got it, the book.

In a certain mansion, a man sitting has smiled and said "So, it begins. The main quest has appeared."
"After 5 years since Earthisia appeared, the main quest appeared and a lot of players has been figuring out what the conditions for the main quest." A news anchor reported in the TV.

"There is also a bounty posted by the Glade family which is whopping 100,000$ if they found the one who discovered the Main Quest." the anchor added.

Gerry needs 24 hours before logging in again as penalty of dying. He doesn't have an ounce of idea what kind of uproar he caused in the whole world because he went to sleep after dying in the game.
It was weekends, so Gerry don't have a work. And it was morning, so he decided to go shopping with his sister.
They went to eat at the fast food restaurant "Nyalimi" where their parents used to bring them. After that they went shopping in a nearby mall called "SM", Super Mall to buy his sister new clothes and after that they proceed to watch a horror movie in the cinema. After walking for awhile, they decided to stopped by in the Wisdom Park. Then after that, they went home.
Gerry felt that the death penalty has subsided so he went to his room to get his VR helmet. He couldn't get used to the feeling of the process of logging in like going to the system menu of the game where he got dragged by a roller coaster going down in a high altitude.
"That was scary and thrilling at the same time." Gerry muttered while waiting to enter the game.
24 hours had passed and as soon as he logged in he checked his inventory and the book was not there and when he saw his stats he got this cursed passive, he got a new passive skill called "Forever Level 1" and there are no other description to it other than its name and it was bounded to him and he cant delete it also. He also got a new title called "cursed by the ancient one" which boosts his stats by 15 in all aspects.
