STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Chapter 321: New blade technique!

City A, 10th Zone:

Western Area:

Gisela drives him around the western area. The Sun Wheel Organisation's Main Building is located inside the gated community, like them.

So she can't enter that place. But she shows him around the nearby locations. While driving, she spotted Sun Wheel Organisation members from the car.

She then told Jeremy to take notice of their uniforms. Jeremy obviously saw their uniforms. It's a red dress with a blazing sun wheel insignia on their chest.

His eyes flickered. Soon, he would be meeting them face to face.

Time passed.

Dusk fell, and they returned to the Shadow Moon Organisation. After stepping out of the car, Jeremy turned around and thanked her.

He could tell that Leader Gisela had her own home in the city.

"No need to thank me. You are a member of my team. You should know these things. Now get ready for tomorrow. I'll take you to the wilderness, where your real test awaits," she said mysteriously before leaving.

Jeremy nodded to her. When she left, he walked back into the building and started heading towards his room. Once again, the staff and other members saw him.

They could tell that the newcomer was adapting to the new place. They were curious to know about his strength and his future here.

About five minutes later,

He returned to his room, locked the door, and went to take a bath. He spent twenty minutes in the shower before stepping out. Then he changed into fresh, comfortable clothes.

Only when he sat on the sofa did he feel relaxed. Today's experience was overwhelming, as if he had visited multiple cities in one day.

But they were just different parts of the same city. There were still northern and southern parts left.

Leader Gisela told him that the City Administration and other government department offices were located in the northern area, including the offices of the Beast Taming Association.

Similarly, the major beast taming families were living in the southern area.

In the small middle part, which is almost equal to City A of the 14th zone, the Central University 10 and other academies are located there. All other major business shops are spread around the whole city.

Coupled with the information he had read earlier, he now had a clear idea of the city. It was unimaginably big, with numerous small forces wielding Tier-5 Beast Tamers' strength.

After pushing down those thoughts, he considered his new team members. They were his seniors with Tier-3 strength, and he hoped everything would go well.

Not long after, he received another surprise. Team Leader Gisela sent him the new blade technique that suited his single sharp-edged blade. His eyes flashed with interest.

He hadn't expected her to act on his request so quickly. He opened the technique to read it. It came with a skill division description as well.

About ten minutes later, a look of understanding dawned in his eyes. He was surprised by the history of the technique, but it was an incomplete one. Leader Gisela bought it through an auction.

Compared to the simple "Triple Rapid Cuts," this blade method was very detailed with skill divisions.

"Maybe she knows that, apart from the ability, I'm not an actual weapon talent beast tamer," Jeremy thought.

Because only those with awakened weapon talents study their attack techniques more deeply. He just knew the basics about stance, grip, slashes, thrusts, and footwork.

It was enough for him to manage with the "Triple Rapid Cuts."

But the technique given to him by Leader Gisela was even more detailed. It was more intricate than the sword arts he had studied back in the library.

However, he was confident in himself because of his A-Grade Supreme Combat Body Talent. He believed it would help him comprehend this powerful technique.

It's just that the technique given to him was incomplete. It had been created by a Beast Tamer who awakened "Blade Talent" 300 years ago. However, this talent had died out halfway when he was just a Tier-7 Beast Tamer.

Later, it had changed hands through auctions before Leader Gisela bought it. This incomplete blade technique contained one chapter called "Blade One: Silence."

Maybe because of this one chapter, it hadn't become famous unless someone was willing to put in their energy on it. Jeremy pushed those thoughts aside.

Fortunately, this blade technique was attribute-less, which meant he could use starlight energy to cause elemental damage.

Then he looked at the skill division description. When he finished reading it, he felt his horizons had widened.

Skill Division: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, and Void.

Time passed.

He continued to read about each division. He was familiar with the beginner stage because it covered the basics of the katana with more detailed information.

Then he went through the intermediate stage, which dealt with multiple strikes, distance, and control. Jeremy's eyes gleamed with excitement. This was the stage he was currently working on.

Suddenly, he couldn't help but think about the "Triple Rapid Cuts." If his skill had been better, perhaps he could have caused more damage with the previous technique.

Now that his horizons had expanded, he realized he lacked mastery over the blade. He couldn't imagine what someone at the Advanced stage could do with the "Triple Rapid Cuts."

But he was not disappointed. He was not a sword talent to begin with; he would need to put in extra effort in training compared to others. He pushed those thoughts aside before turning toward the third stage.

The Advanced stage was more about control, adaptation, precision, and awareness. His eyes shone with bright light. He was hearing about the advanced concepts for the first time.

Then came the fourth stage, the Expert stage. As the name suggests, it encompasses expertise over everything.

At this stage, one can teach others. It's also mentioned that people at this stage have unique powers known as sword light.

Jeremy didn't know if he could reach such a stage, but he believed he would become powerful if he became an Advanced Sword Wielder.

Then his gaze fell on the last stage. It was completely blank. The Void stage, it was the name given by seniors. But it stated that no one could teach such a stage unless one experienced it.

Gasp!

Jeremy took a sharp breath. The last Void stage was difficult even for those with Sword Talent. His current goal was the Intermediate stage.
