Electric arcs flicker within the apparatus, filling its interior with blue-white lightning. The Enhanced Strong Smash convulses uncontrollably.

Even just watching from the outside, Qing Mu begins to feel a tingling sensation throughout his body. “They’re ruthless; not even Professor Yang went this far. These people are truly merciless.”

This experience grants Qing Mu a profound understanding of the ruthlessness of Eternal Technology Inc. Conducting experiments on living individuals of this nature certainly doesn’t align with the practices of a legitimate company.

“My dad used to work here. Could he be like them? Is my dad actually a villain?” In this moment, Qing Mu can’t help but question his parents’ moral standing.

Only villains could commit such brutal acts; righteous individuals wouldn’t stoop to such cruelty.

After several minutes of intense electrocution, the Enhanced Strong Smash finally falls silent. It no longer struggles, primarily because it can’t move anymore. Surviving a prolonged period of high-voltage electrical shocks is nothing short of a miracle, demonstrating the extraordinary resilience of the Enhanced Strong Smash.

Inside the laboratory, the middle-aged man responsible for operating the apparatus glances coldly at the container housing the Enhanced Strong Smash and remarks, “This specimen is a failure. It couldn’t withstand the transformation and became a Smash. We can only sell it as a bio-weapon. Take it to confinement.”

“Understood, Director Wu,” the other staff members reply in a practiced manner.

They proceed to open the apparatus, carefully lift the Enhanced Strong Smash from inside, place it on a wheeled gurney, and then wheel it out of the laboratory.

Outside the laboratory, Qing Mu, who had overheard Director Wu’s words, strokes his chin as he contemplates the situation. “Bio-weapon? Could it be that creating powerful bio-weapons like the Smashes is the main business of Eternal Technology Inc.? Turning humans into formidable bio-weapon Smashes and selling them? If that’s the case, they’re daring. They’re not afraid of causing global chaos with this kind of business.”

Qing Mu could never have imagined that in this seemingly peaceful world, such a dangerous force could exist. Moreover, judging by these individuals’ adeptness in their work, it’s clear that they’ve been involved in these activities for a long time.

“What role does my dad play in all of this? What does he do here? Does my mom know?” For the first time, Qing Mu is deeply concerned about his parents’ professions.

If he had known it would be like this, he would have paid closer attention to his parents’ work.

Those with Hazard Levels are the valuable advanced bio-weapons. Hazard Levels are a term from Kamen Rider Build and are ranked from one to seven, with seven being the highest.

When ordinary humans are injected with Nebula Gas, they gain a Hazard Level. Those with Hazard Levels below 2.0 become mindless Smashes. Once defeated, they immediately perish. In the original plot of Kamen Rider Build, Ryuga Banjo’s girlfriend perished because her Hazard Level was below 2.0. Even with Kiryu Sento’s help in removing the Nebula Gas from her body, she couldn’t survive.

Those with Hazard Levels exceeding 2.0 have a slight chance of not turning into Smashes and maintaining their human form, as Kiryu Sento and Ryuga Banjo did. If they do transform into Smashes, they can be restored to normal by removing the Nebula Gas, thus avoiding death.

When the Hazard Level exceeds 3.0, individuals can use the Build Driver to transform into Kamen Riders. A Hazard Level above 4.0 allows them to use an enhanced transformation device to squeeze the Drive, gaining even greater strength.

The higher the Hazard Level, the greater the combat power after transformation, whether it’s into a Smash or a Kamen Rider. With a sufficiently high Hazard Level, even in their base form, they can overpower opponents using enhanced or super-enhanced forms.

In the later stages of Kamen Rider Build’s plot, Kiryu Sento’s father, Shinobu Katsuragi, used his base form to defeat the main cast, who were using enhanced forms.

Hazard Levels are not fixed and can increase through battles or strong emotional fluctuations.

For instance, Ryuga Banjo has frequently experienced a significant increase in his Hazard Level due to extreme anger. Compared to mindless and uncontrollable Smashes, humans with intelligence and emotions are more appealing and can fetch higher prices.

Qing Mu reflects, “No wonder Eternal Technology Inc. has achieved such massive scale. Their products are so potent that it’s hard not to make a fortune.”

The arms trade has always been one of the most profitable businesses globally. However, Qing Mu believes that a company specializing in selling Kamen Riders and monsters is undoubtedly more lucrative. After all, these products are far more powerful than ordinary weaponry.

Unconsciously, Qing Mu watches Director Wu finish an entire experiment log.

“Alright, that’s it for today’s work. It’s time to go home,” Director Wu says as he prepares to leave.

At this moment, a sharp blade is quietly pressed against his neck.

“Sorry, but it seems you can’t leave just yet. I’ll need you to work a little overtime,” Qing Mu’s playful voice whispers in Director Wu’s ear.

“I’m just a passing Kamen Rider,” Qing Mu replies casually. “As for what I want to do, do I really need to say it? Of course, it’s to dismantle this den of monster production you’ve got here.”

“A passing Kamen Rider? Are you from the Dragon Nation’s authorities?” Director Wu assumes that the secret behind Eternal Technology Inc. has been exposed, attracting an investigation from the Dragon Nation’s government.
