Chapter 32: Chapter 32: The Predator Lone Wolf

Chapter 32: The Predator Lone Wolf

Moreover, the Xenomorph-Predator hybrid also possesses the reproductive capabilities of a Xenomorph Queen. The embryos it implants in pregnant hosts mature significantly faster than regular Chestbursters.

While normal Chestbursters take at least an hour, or even several hours, to emerge, these embryos develop far more rapidly.

The most perplexing aspect of Xenomorphs is their growth rate. Within mere minutes after emerging, they mature at an incredible pace, seemingly drawing nutrition and energy from an unknown source.

Chang Wei was aware of this plot and setting, yet he didn't intervene.

He couldn't bring himself to act directly, but letting the alien Xenomorphs do the dirty work spared him the guilt.

Moreover, he could have his Hunters kill them later to avenge the victims.

Five Warrior Xenomorphs encountered the Hunter. After a brief standoff filled with snarling and posturing, the Black Armored Hunter struck first.

The terrifying explosive power of an arthropod was instantly evident. The speed of its attack was even faster than that of the mantis shrimp, recognized as one of the fastest-striking creatures on Earth.

Although the Black Armored Hunter's speed was limited by its size, the biomechanically engineered predator still delivered attacks of incredible velocity and power. Even at subsonic speeds, its blows were monstrously devastating.

In the blink of an eye, before the Warrior Xenomorph could react, the Black Armored Hunter crushed its skull with a single blow. The deafening shockwave and air blast rippled outward with a thunderous roar.

The ground was left with a massive crater from the impact, and the remains of the Warrior Xenomorph were obliterated into fragments by the shockwave.

The remaining Warrior Xenomorphs immediately scattered, opting to hide and launch ambushes. Faced with an insurmountable gap in strength, they chose to resort to stealth.

But now that the Black Armored Hunter had established itself as the apex predator in the food chain, how could it let them escape?

Initially, the Black Armored Hunter had hesitated during the standoff, as it was assessing these unfamiliar creatures. Its genetic memory contained data on all life forms on Earth.

Thus, it had an innate understanding of terrestrial life forms, unlike creatures like the Indominus Rex that needed constant testing.

Chang Wei hadn't provided the Xenomorph genetic data to the Hunter, using the encounter as a test of its intelligence and adaptability.

The results pleased him; his Hunters demonstrated impressive situational awareness.

This indicated that they possessed a certain level of intelligence.

The Warrior Xenomorphs planned to utilize the darkness to their advantage, a strategy effective against many creatures. Their exoskeletons rendered them invisible to thermal detection.

However, the Black Armored Hunter split up, and before long, the Xenomorph-Predator hybrid sensed that the five Warrior Xenomorphs it had sent out had all been killed.

This both shocked and agitated the hybrid.

To the Xenomorph-Predator hybrid, powerful and dangerous organisms meant valuable offspring and superior genetic material.

Thus, it transformed the hospital into a slimy nest of biological matter, advancing all its Xenomorphs into Warrior Xenomorphs.

It couldn't produce Praetorians, and the Messenger Xenomorphs were still incubating. As for Spitters, they were out of the question.

The Xenomorph-Predator hybrid concealed itself in the shadows, commanding the Warrior Xenomorphs to encircle and attack the powerful predators while it observed and waited for an opportunity to strike.

Meanwhile, Chang Wei's gaze shifted to the distant mountains. His electrical sense and heightened perception detected an unusual electromagnetic field.

Could it be the Predator known as the "Lone Wolf"?

Speaking of which, he had never seen an alien spacecraft before.

Chang Wei also had a bold and audacious plan: to make the Predator view him as a strong, dangerous, and suitable prey.

In later Predator series movies, there were plotlines where Earth's warriors were taken to other planets to fight. If they considered human combat prowess worthy, it showed how desperate they were for prey.

Moreover, Chang Wei was highly interested in the genetic material of the powerful organisms the Predators gathered from across the cosmos.

Besides, with the Blacklight Virus' mimetic abilities, he might even disguise himself as a Predator to infiltrate them.

The "Lone Wolf" was a veteran tasked with handling Xenomorph outbreaks. Seasoned and composed, he was an efficient and lethal hunter.

"Boom—!!!"

A massive explosion echoed as the Predator Lone Wolf detonated its crashed ship. However, just as it turned around, it was sent flying by a powerful punch.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

It crashed through three massive trees, each with a diameter of about half a meter, before collapsing on the ground, barely alive. Its mask locked onto the approaching Chang Wei.

The mask served as a means of communication, and Chang Wei naturally refrained from striking it directly.

Fluorescent green blood trickled from beneath the mask, dripping onto the ground.

Powerful! Dangerous!

The Lone Wolf stared at Chang Wei with a mix of unwillingness and regret. Such a formidable prey...

And then, it died.

Even so, in its final moments, the Lone Wolf managed to transmit Chang Wei's information.

Chang Wei then removed the mask and tossed it far away to ensure it wouldn't record or broadcast what happened next.

He proceeded to devour and absorb the Predator Lone Wolf.
