"Today, you will die—"
As the trailing sound of the last word just passed, Tobirama vanished. Kamihane's pupils constricted sharply as he shifted his steps, turned his body, and tilted his head! The movements were executed in one fluid motion, without the slightest hesitation.
"Slice."
A line of blood shot across his right cheek, the searing pain causing his face to twist slightly. Tobirama, holding a kunai, had launched a sudden attack from his side without any warning.
Kamihane's reaction was remarkably swift. His right hand lashed out instantly, the afterimage of his arm resembling a whip. With a resounding "crack," he tightly grasped Tobirama's wrist, the force so great that the kunai slipped from his hand and fell.
He clenched Tobirama's wrist with an iron grip, while the palm of his other hand emitted a blue light. "Autumn Dew" transformed into an icy-blue blade, thrusting directly toward Tobirama's heart.
"Swish!"
Tobirama's body vanished once again. Kamihane sensed a slight disturbance in the air behind him, and a bone-chilling cold surged straight to the crown of his head. However, there was no time to turn around. In a moment of terror, his crimson pupils hastily glanced back.
A dazzling gleam pierced the air. Tobirama, gripping the kunai in reverse, ruthlessly aimed for Kamihane's eyes!
"Got it!" Tobirama's gaze was dark and sinister. The tip of the kunai tore through the air, producing a long, ear-piercing screech.
Silently, the kunai struck nothing but air, and Kamihane's body disappeared into thin air, instantly reappearing five meters away. He stumbled, nearly falling.
"That was close!"
Kamihane's breathing was erratic. Even though he had escaped danger, his eyes still flickered with panic, like a wary young beast.
Just a little more, and his right eye would have been gouged out by Tobirama!
However, compared to Kamihane, Tobirama's expression was even more intriguing.
"Space-Time Ninjutsu? Your ocular abilities aren't just limited to restoration? You can also perform spatial teleportation?" His brows furrowed, and a glint of light flashed in his eyes.
"Compared to Lord Tobirama, there is still a significant gap," Kamihane deliberately spoke with ease.
Tobirama's expression returned to normal as he spread his hands and said, "This place has long been marked with countless Flying Thunder God seals by me. I can appear at any location. This place is a tomb I have specially built for you!"
Kamihane instinctively scanned his surroundings. The low grass, the cracks in the broken trees, the edges of the fissures on the ground, beneath the water's surface, within the stone walls, on the rocky cliffs... countless Flying Thunder God seals came into view. Numerous Flying Thunder God kunai were scattered across the battlefield, mixed among the chaotic array of weapons. Unless one deliberately searched for them, they would be nearly impossible to detect!
In the moment Kamihane was distracted, Tobirama teleported in front of him once again, the kunai slicing through the air with a cold, eerie gleam.
It was too late. In the presence of Senju Tobirama, Kamihane had no time to perform the Body Flicker Technique. He could only activate "Ama no Tokotachi." His right pupil instinctively rotated with an eerie glow, and he appeared out of thin air at the position Tobirama had just occupied.
From an observer's perspective, the two figures blurred for an instant in the heavy rain, and in the blink of an eye, they had swapped positions. It was nothing short of a miraculous feat.
"Besides the Body Flicker Technique, the injury on the right side of his face has also disappeared. Does this ocular technique not only restore injuries but also restore spatial positions? These positions... are not random."
While launching his attack, Tobirama analyzed the battle.
In the blink of an eye, he reappeared before Kamihane like a vengeful spirit, kunai aimed directly at his right eye.
"You can't escape. I can teleport to any corner of this space!"
"Thud!"
The kunai pierced through the palm, blood splattering. Kamihane tightly grasped Tobirama's fist with his hand, the blade stopping just an inch away from his eyeball! A cold, eerie light flowed past, reflecting the jade-like fine luster of his Mangekyō Sharingan.
"He didn't teleport away immediately? Is there a cooldown period or..."
Tobirama narrowed his eyes. Although his attack seemed fierce this time, based on Kamihane's previously displayed agility, he could have predicted the attack and used his space-time ocular technique to escape at the first moment.
As soon as the thought surfaced in his mind, Kamihane vanished in an instant.
With a "swish," a faint shadow quietly appeared atop the wooden figure, marking the position Kamihane had occupied approximately three minutes prior.
"The ocular technique of the left eye grants immunity to my Water Release, while the ocular technique of the right eye... is it temporal reversion? Not only can he teleport to a previously occupied position, but he can also restore his own health condition. However, it seems there is a cooldown period of one second, preventing consecutive activations..."
Tobirama's mind rapidly analyzed the intelligence, his gaze as calm as still water. "Since he hasn't left this area, it suggests that the time he can revert is limited, roughly a few minutes..."
In just a few brief exchanges, he had nearly deciphered Kamihane's abilities.
At the moment Kamihane landed, without the slightest hesitation, he summoned the Susanoo.
Ribs stretched, arms grew, and meridians rapidly filled the gaps, swiftly coalescing into solid flesh and blood.
The Second Stage Susanoo manifested in less than half a second, its colossal body fully extending under the cold, desolate moonlight, its lines severe and unyielding.
The half-bodied giant clasped its hands together, condensing that peculiarly shaped weapon. But this time, the gathering of chakra did not cease. As the surging black energy filled it, the tail of the weapon abruptly elongated, eventually transforming into a majestic spear!
"Finally decided to use this move, huh?" Tobirama did not pursue, a cold smirk curling at the corner of his mouth.
The Susanoo spear swept horizontally, its tip carving a perfect circle in the curtain of rain. The arc was dark and profound, appearing more like it had torn through space, leaving behind a void of darkness.
Immediately after, the arc contracted like a black hole, then explosively expanded. The powerful strike tore through the earth, akin to a storm sweeping through!
Centered around the Susanoo, the ground began to crumble and tear apart inch by inch, with shattered wood and rainwater being swept up by the fierce wind, following the arc to a more distant place. Even the Wooden Human and the colossal Wooden Buddha were severed in a single sweep!
Without the enhancement from Hashirama, these wooden constructs were no different from ordinary trees.
As the shockwave gradually subsided, only the barren earth remained at the scene. The giant trees, puddles, Flying Thunder God kunai, and seals had all vanished. A radius of a thousand meters had been completely leveled by a single strike!
At a slightly greater distance from the Susanoo, the space distorted faintly, and Tobirama's figure reappeared. However, he did not continue his assault on Kamihane.
The moment he appeared, he hurled the Flying Thunder God kunai in his hand, but his target was not Kamihane, but rather an entirely unrelated direction.
As the kunai flew through the air, it erupted with a puff of white smoke, and a second Tobirama materialized out of thin air. He grabbed the kunai, twisted his body mid-air, and flung it in a different direction.
"Whoosh!"
When the third Tobirama appeared, Kamihane furrowed his brows. Within the dynamic vision of the Mangekyō Sharingan, the trajectory of the kunai left straight, elongated lines in the air, faintly encircling him.
He had already discerned Tobirama's intent. With a flick of his wrist, three shuriken shot through the air, catching up to the Flying Thunder God kunai in the blink of an eye, seemingly on the verge of successful interception.
However, the fourth Tobirama appeared ahead of time. Amid a chaotic clanging, he swung his kunai, deflecting all the shuriken. Seizing the momentum, he leapt sideways, joining the other three to occupy the east, west, south, and north corners, encircling Kamihane at the center.
"Whoosh!"
At that moment, a strand of crimson light shot up from in front of one of the Tobiramas.
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
Three more strands of light followed closely behind, piercing the sky like skyrockets.
The beams interconnected, extending into a deep red barrier, forming an encirclement that sealed off a radius of a hundred meters!
"Linked Instant Shadow: Flying Thunder God: Four Red Yang Formation!" the four Tobiramas chanted in unison.
Kamihane's heart sank heavily, a chill rising along his spine.
From the barrier, he felt an immense sealing force. The air grew heavy, his meridians sluggish, and the chakra throughout his body became several levels slower, no longer flowing as smoothly as before!
