SSS Ranked Awakening: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 164: Weird Kink

She looked in the chat, terrified and broken; no response came from the Lord. If anything, the silence made her even more scared.

I-I have to ask for his forgiveness.

A faint chill crawled up her spine. The room seemed to close in, the only sound the distant chatter of her own teeth.

She knew her life was over. When others learned about whom she had disrespected, she would be gone forever—no matter where she tried to run, there wouldn't be any place for her to hide.

Running was not an option for only a lesser divinity like her; those sent from the guild would hunt her down in no time. She had to find a way to get him to forgive her. It would still not change the outcome; she just hoped the punishment would be her death, which would have been the case for using cosmic phenomena as you wished if caught.

But the insult—

Not any insult, but a direct insult to the Lord himself.

That.

That would very well be the end—they would kill her, not any death but a true death. She wouldn't even get the chance to reincarnate.

Even as a lesser divinity, she had touched the foot of godhood, earning her the permanent right to reincarnate no matter how long it took. Still, if her soul got permanently destroyed, it didn't matter who saw it before that; that would be the end of her.

Which terrified her.

She thought of another message and sent it again.

Tagging the person, but her tone had turned entirely upside down.

MoonWhoEatsHerself:

@Elemental Paragon My Lord, please forgive me, please... I didn't know who you were before. Just forgive me, I would do anything you want.

----

She waited for his response. Her life depended on this moment; she had one resurrection treasure—even if she died, she could be revived. But if true death occurred, everything would be over. After hundreds of thousands of years of cultivation to reach this level and become one, she would die like this.

The seconds dragged, each one pounding like a drumbeat in her ears. Her mouth tasted bitter with dread, her fingers clammy against the crystal panel.

No, she didn't want that.

She prayed.

Yet she believed in none of the gods of any church or any other group worshipped.

The air felt heavy, thick with unshed tears. The faint scent of incense from her room clung to her clothes, oddly out of place in her terror.

So, to whom did she pray?

She prayed to the very Lord who might as well be her end, the end of her who had with so much hardship reached this level.

The Elemental Paragon.

The new mysterious Lord that came out of nowhere, in the same chat where Lord of Time and Space came before.

Because it only made sense to her to pray to him, in hopes that he would forgive her. If her words weren't enough, she hoped, by some miracle, that her prayer might be answered by him, and he would let her off and her guild.

Otherwise, she would be killed by them.

It felt as if history was going to repeat itself, which made her shiver even more.

MoonWhoEatsHerself:

@Elemental Paragon, are you a retard? Why are you offending others, especially over a question about mana heart? You are in this Cosmic Chat; you can message here. You have clearly reached Lesser Divinity.

----

Every day, we encounter new idiots.

Leon thought they had a lot more words to say as he seemed to have asked something stupid, but no message came to him again.

So he decided to ask it again, but changed how he said it so that he didn't look like an idiot, as to these, he was also at least a lesser divinity like them.

Elemental Paragon:

I have asked that question because I am doing some research on mana heart. How did their process of forming a mana heart go, and which method did they use?

-----

Yep, this was the idea he had come up with.

He didn't want them to think he was a fool, so he decided to act like he was doing research on mana heart.

There might be someone curious who would share some details with him.

However, when the following message came, it was just after him, or could be said the very second he had sent his message.

The same person who had tagged him before and insulted him with solid reasoning—unlike the blatant threat by others—had messaged him, yet he still didn't like the way she had called him.

But he had to keep himself quiet for now.

Yet when he read her message, the expression on his face changed entirely, and he had a strange look of confusion on his face; he didn't understand why she sent that.

He had not a single clue.

MoonWhoEatsHerself:

@Elemental Paragon My Lord, please forgive me, please... I didn't know who you were before. Forgive me. I would do anything you want.

----

The change in her tone was too significant; it almost felt unreal.

He didn't know what was happening. Was she trolling him, or was there something going on that caused this?

He was as clueless as a bean bag.

Yet he played along with her weird message. He only wanted to know how to form a mana heart and, if possible, about the holy energy.

But before he sent her another message, another message came in again.

However, this one made his hope even higher, even if it felt as if she was putting on an act or some weird kink she might have—if they played it to the end, he would really get what he wanted.

MoonWhoEatsHerself:

@Elemental Paragon, My Lord, I just read you're doing research on mana hearts. If you want, I'll tell you anything you want and even send the manual I used while creating my mana heart, but I will ask you j-just one thing, P-Please forgive me for my mistake earlier, I-I was ignorant—I really don't want to die... sob sob

----

For a moment, reading her message and the way she talked as if she really was afraid and wanted him to forgive her for some reason, all in all, she was acting as if her life was on the line.

He had to admit, she really knew how to get into her role. Even with this weird kink, she was playing it well.

But the fact that she said she would send him her manual, he didn't believe her even for a second; she was really playing too much.

Even still, he would ask, and if it really arrived, then he would genuinely believe she was scared for her life for some unknown reason. Still, it wasn't even a possibility in his mind.

He was completely new here, and the fact everyone's identity was secured by the cosmic system—she had no reason to be scared of him even in her thoughts.

Elemental Paragon:

@MoonWhoEatsHerself I will forgive your mistake if you send me your manual and tell me about your experience.

----

Tagging her was quite easy; with just a thought, it worked.

She couldn't believe her eyes. She read the message repeatedly. Before any thoughts could form inside, she quickly took out her manual from her space ring.

Without even a millisecond of wait, she sent it to the Lord, fearing he might change his mind.

[Do you want to accept the item sent by MoonWhoEatsHerself?]

[Accept it if you want the item]

[The cost of 1000 causalities would be deducted from your account for delivery]

[...]

The message appearing in front of Leon shocked him to the core. He didn't know if she was taking this act to another level or just another troll; he might get only an empty box.

His own heartbeat thundered in his ears as he hesitated, the world narrowing to the faint glow of the system's question.

But then, another message came which made his hand tremble in excitement.

His breath caught. For a split second, the world seemed to hush—the glow of the system screen bathing his face in pale gold as his hand hovered above the [Accept] prompt.
