NOVEL WEB Chapter 13: A Child's Requests
"What are you doing? Convince him that my mana core awakening should be done early as well." Wanting to test his new skills as soon as possible, Taurus quickly took the chance to ask Mammot for help through the established link.
'More work, huh?!' Mammot muttered internally and although it wasn't a direct response, Taurus heard the words perfectly.
He waited until the current matter was settled with Edmund before relaying what Taurus wanted.
After going back and forth a few times, Taurus couldn't handle their conversation anymore and patted Mammot's frame a couple of times.
"Now you have a reason, don't mess it up!" Taurus spoke and the titan grumbled upon taking the damage.
"You've seen it, haven't you? He's more than qualified if he can do this much damage." Mammot spoke and Edmund stared at both suspiciously, feeling something unusual was happening before his eyes.
"I'm sorry and get it, but isn't it risky?"
"Risky? Check out my status." Mammot spoke, and then his status panel directly appeared before Edmund and Amelia.

"Now tell me, is it still risky to you?!" Mammot muttered nonchalantly as both stared at his status.
What seemed like a causal smack to them turned out something greater upon witnessing the damage he took from these two attacks.
"I see and I apologize for the child's behavior. Please heal him, Amelia." Amelia nodded her head upon hearing his words before shaking her head and stepping forward.
Her hands landed on Mammot's frame as the golden light spread through her palm, invading the titan's body.
After an hour of healing, Mammot's health rose to 5,861 but she looked too exhausted to continue.
"I'm sorry, but I'm out of mana," Amelia spoke while Taurus secretly analyzed her skill.
'Amazing skill, but the cooldown could be a problem.' Through the golden light, Taurus figured out the cooldown was around ten minutes or a little more.
The mana consumption was a mystery to him since he couldn't sense it yet. However, he didn't bother himself further since he got his wish granted through Mammot's suffering.
"Thank you again, friend. I will take my old man back so you can resume your sleep." Knowing Mammot's favorite hoppy, Taurus relayed his thoughts while continuing his tours around Mammot before finally feeling tired.
He eventually slowed down his speed and acted accordingly to make it believable before making his way back to his father.
'Just go away already,' The titan responded and Taurus almost burst out laughing, already used to Mammot's laziness.
Taurus rested in his father's arms while Amelia continued her healing before leaving after bidding their farewells.
'Now that I made sure my awakening would be early, I can continue my attribute farming in peace…' Taurus thought while falling asleep on his father's shoulder.
With the three figures disappearing from his sight, Mammot's eyelids grew heavy, and soon, he finally drifted off to sleep.
Over the next few days, Taurus found himself free to do his exercise once again.
Theo wasn't present, Amelia returned to her studies in the academy, and his family was busy with house repairs.
Those house repairs acted as a distraction and kept everyone occupied, giving Taurus the freedom he needed to train.
With time passing, Taurus noticed the efficiency of his exercise dropping considerably.
It went from having to do 3 sets to 4 sets for a single attribute point.
Thankfully, it was not as bad as it seemed, as it only took a little extra time.
Soon, the fall arrived, and his parents began executing their plan since they decided to help him awaken once he was seven.
Alexandra began teaching him reading so they could know his exact stats, and thankfully, the process went smoothly.
Edmund on the other side was responsible for getting Taurus to control his strength by playing games and rewarding the child if he managed to win.
It started with games to help him control his speed. For example, Edmund would hand him a cup of water and challenge him to run from one point to another without spilling it.
For his strength control, it was way simpler since most objectives were building stuff without crushing them accurately.
Time went by, and with winter's arrival, Taurus proved he could control his power to a certain degree.
He could read simple words, and his parents were pleased with his steady progress.
Still, his vocabulary was much better compared to his reading skills, or at least what he shown to his parents.
During that time, Taurus' golden hair reached his shoulders, and his primary teeth were all out and ready to chop properly.
Nearing the end of the season, Taurus received the news about the monster empire's delegation arriving at Tyran after three years of negotiations and attempts to earn the empire's trust.
"Papa, what is a monster?" Taurus took the chance and questioned his father the moment he heard the news despite the clear tension on the man's face.
A stunt came into his mind and despite knowing very well he would be rejected, he decided to do it just to lessen his father's tension as far as he could.
"Can I come too?!" He stuck closer, begging to accompany Edmund while pulling the man's pants down.
"Aw, I wish you could. But this is an important meeting." Edmund responded before pausing for a few seconds, thinking about compensation to avoid saddening the child.
"How about you stay here with your mother, and I promise we'll do something fun afterward?" The man clapped his hands before continuing.
Taurus' eyes gleamed immediately upon hearing his father's words, wondering what he had on mind.
"Ehm!" Noting his father's face brightened compared to before, Taurus nodded his head in agreement without giving it much thought.
