Slave Harem In A Labyrinth Of Another World (Fix)

Chapter 22 – Capital Teleportation, Adventurer

I started a full-scale exploration of the second floor.

Regenerating my Mana regularly using Excalibur, I primarily used Spells to take down the Demons.

Whenever groups of two appeared, I used Firestorm, which killed both in a single attack--but would lead to minor depression…so I could never feel happy about that achievement.

Is there nowhere around here like the first floor’s Demon Spawning room?

Or are there special conditions that need to be fulfilled for it to appear?

I got a few leaves, and it seemed to be late in the day--so I decided to call it a day before I got too exhausted and made a mistake. Making sure my Mana was full, I cast Warp with the Adventurer’s Guild as my destination.

The building had a strangely calm atmosphere that is quite comforting--transferring in an instant from a lonely battlefield into this atmosphere further enhances the feeling.

“Is there anyone who wants to go to the Capital?”

A woman who teleported through a wall, like I did, seemed to be recruiting customers. I saw them as I exited the Guild, after selling all my loot, and managed to make 3 gold. A lot more than yesterday--because I got a rare golden thread from one of the Green Caterpillars.

Now I only needed 5 gold in 7 days--it’s beginning to look more likely I can make it in time without taking drastic measures.

Maybe I should take the chance and go to the Capital, in case I need it in the future; as long as the cost isn’t too high.

“How much will it cost?” I stopped and asked the female Adventurer.

“1 silver coin, or 50 coppers for a one-way trip.”

When I handed her 50 copper coins, since I could Warp back--theoretically, she recited the Party Formation Incantation.

A floating window appeared in front of me, asking if I wished to join the party, to which, of course, I chose ‘yes’.

So, this is how Party Formation works.

With a polite nod to me, she turned and cast Field Walk; the Adventurer’s Guild’s wall became pitch-black.

I quickly follow along behind her, of course taking the time to admire the nice curves of her butt straining against her tight leather hot-pants.

On the other side of the black wall was a large room.

The same basic structure is the same, so this is probably the Capital’s Adventurer’s Guild; though it is over three times larger than its counterpart in Vale.

The counter had 10 receptionists, all of which had a line in front of them.

While I was slightly zoned out, the female Adventurer cast the Party Formation Skill, and I accepted the ‘disband party’ option. Another of the people who came along with us nodded and left.

“Then, I’ll take my leave.” The woman glanced around and walked off, beginning to advertise a round-trip between the Capital and Vale.

To take a quick look around, I exited the Adventurer’s Guild. The Capital was rather crowded, with a lot of buildings and people; movement and noise.

The design of the buildings reminds me of ancient Rome, in its golden days--well, I was never there of course, but it’s how it was shown in shows and books.

The road in front of me stretches out into the distance.

A history book I had read, for homework, had said that the roads in the Middle Ages were constructed incredibly complex; so as to make it more difficult for invading armies.

But the path here is straight, with branching alleys--is it incredibly peaceful here?

Well, I did select a peaceful world; but, why would I be taken to a peaceful world?

Usually people cross worlds because of conflicts.

Well, it’s my loss if I mind it.

It seems like the day is surprisingly young--it seems that there is a time difference between Vale and the Capital…I wonder what the range of Field Walk actually is?

Since I didn’t come for a lot of sightseeing, I mainly came to ‘unlock’ the location, I swiftly returned to the Adventurer’s Guild.

Like in the Vale Adventurer’s Guild, there is a board covered in posters.

I take a quick glance at the contents.

There wasn’t really anything interesting--so I ignored it and went to one of the free places at the reception counter.

When I ask about the cheapest Stamina Potion, I found out that it’s 60 copper. If I were to use them instead of Excalibur’s abilities, I would use up a lot of money, very quickly.

This was, of course, simple curiousity. I had no reason not to use Excalibur, and I might be able to let Roxanne use it if needed after I buy her. It wouldn’t matter if she got suspicious as to why I had an overpowered weapon, since I could tell her the truth…as a slave, she couldn’t betray me apparently.

I returned to the Vale’s Adventurer’s Guild using Warp. Of course, since there were people around me, I made sure to mutter random words and then, “Field Walk.”

While I had heard the actual chant for Field Walk before, I hadn’t memorized it--but if I spoke quickly and quietly, it was unlikely that anyone would notice.

Thus, from an outsider’s perspective, I use Field Walk to innocently teleport myself to Vale.

It’s evening back here, in Vale--so the Capital is west of Vale.

Returning to the Vale Pavilion, I quickly stop by the reception counter and ask for a bucket of hot water, before going to get some dinner.

I wander what I should choose today.

“Welcome. Since some fresh beef arrived today, I’d recommend that.” The female version of the receptionist said to me with a polite smile and nod. She seemed more polite than her male version…it was strange.

“Alright. I will take your recommendation.”

“Thank you, would you want herbal tea to drink again tonight?”

“Yes, please.”

“Take a seat. Your meal will be out soon.” She gestured to the mostly empty dining room.

I quickly sat down at the nearest table.

Unfortunately, I am still 5 gold from buying Roxanne--and only have 7 days to go; I cannot depend on rare drops. While I am fairly sure I can make the money--I still can’t help the feeling of worry rising in me.

Though, if I think deeply about it…why am I so drawn to Roxanne? I mean, there are other slaves I could buy, maybe even some which are cheaper. Well--it’s not really that important. I will just see how things go.

Unfortunately, the Dungeon doesn’t seem to have treasure chests, unlike the ones in games and books. There may be some if I go to lower floors, or maybe I just missed them…like I did the many small rooms on the first floor, until I accidentally stumbled onto one and then went back.
