Slaughterer's Ode To The Blade

The next day.

Eiji didn't have anything to do. It was kinda an unwritten rule to take a day off or a few days off after each mission.

So Eiji and his team decided to have one day, day off and then continue tomorrow.

Even though they might not have any mission for the next few days, it was still better to get a few relaxing day.

In fact, they didn't even rest one bit in the last six months. It was a continous day of training. So it was kinda fair to have a rest day.

So Eiji decided to stroll around the city.

His master Muri was at the school. School had already started last four months ago.

So Eiji was sometimes alone in the house when he comes home early.

And now bored and wasn't in a hurry to train he decided to do some shopping.

With lots of money in him, he was now different from the past who was in a financial burden!

He had paid the tuition and subsidies given by the school and still have some left with him!

Eiji arrived at the market place.

He found the second hand shop he had seen before. Now, he wasn't interested in the things in that shop anymore as he already has a trusty katana in him.

Besides, the things that that shop sold were a bit shady.

So Eiji went to a rather well off shop in the city.

Golden Treasure Shop.

It was one of the highest and most reliable merchant store in the whole world!

The Golden Treasure Shop, was renowned throughout the whole Kingdoms!

It has branches in all the big and small cities in the kingdoms, and even has one in remote places where danger lurks!

Eiji looked at the towering building, it wasn't adorned with any glittering things or sparkles everywhere. What sets apart the shop from the others is that, the shop was huge, but it was beautiful, it was also very clean and tidy.

You can feel a sort of calming effect when you looked at the place.

Eiji set foot inside the building.

Inside, there were a lot of people, it was loud, but wasn't a bad one.

It was a sound of people talking happily but because there were so many pf them, it became a bit loud.

No one really bothered about Eiji.

They just looked at him then nothing more.

Although there was an attendant coming towards him.

"Hello sir! What would like to buy today?!"

"Uuhh... I- I'm just.. gonna browse f..for today..."

"Uhh.. okay! No problem sir! If you have any questions just ask anyone with the same uniform as me, and they will take care of you instantly!"

The woman attendant was first perplexed at Eiji, she then saw his embarrassment, but she just smiled and slowly informed him.

"O-okay! Thanks!"

Eiji was a bit embarrassed about what happened so he hastily walked towards a boutique in the store.

When he entered a boutique, there were many essential things for camping in it.

Eiji saw a lot pf people wearing the same outfit as him. Taking things they needed or putting back things as they looked at the prices.

Eiji knew that he was in the right place so he also started to browse.

Eiji saw a lot of things and even new things that he didn't know he would need but looked cool.

But he wasn't an impulsive type of person so he just looked at it then put it back to its place.

He wants to ask his master first about the things that he saw today and take his opinion if he needed these things or not.

As he picked up things he think that would be helpful in the future, he suddenly saw a person looking curiously at a tool in her hand.

"Lime?!"

"Huh?!"

"Eiji!!!!!"

*Thud!

Lime didn't know who called her at first but when she saw it was Eiji, she just ran up to him and hugged him directly!

Eiji hadn't seen her since the celebration party.

He felt like she became even more beautiful!

"Wow! Eiji! You look so cool in your nagagi!"

"Haha! Thanks! You too! You modified yours a bit huh?!"

"Hahah! Yeah! It was kinda in the way in my right hand so I snip it up until the elbow! Same as here, it was also in the way when I run, so I also cut the left part halfway ahha!"

Eiji watched Lime laugh in a silly way.

"Well, You still look pretty in it!"

"Haha! Thanks Eiji!"

Although Eiji would complement her beauty before, now that they haven't seen each other for quite a while, Lime fet a bit shy at Eiji.

"So! What were you looking up here?!"

"Well.. I had a day off, and got bored in the house so I took a stroll and found this place!"

"Ohh! So you guys have day offs even when you are still rookies huh?! W- wait! which department are you in Eiji?!"

Actually, no one knew about Eiji and what department he was in, all of his classmates did not know mor did they had any news about him.

As a secret department, they weren't allowed to talk about his department in public or anywhere or to anyone other than people in their own department.

"Well...."
