Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

After teleporting away from the location of the Crimson Orchid, Corey appeared close to the Verdant Lotus, and a second after he appeared, he and the rest were attacked.

A massive crocodile that was ten times the size of a normal crocodile appeared out the water and snapped its jaw at him at a speed that was terrifyingly fast for Selene, Kiefer, and Willow to follow.

Corey was able to react, and he held the jaws of the crocodile and stopped it from closing it.

Corey smiled, and then he used Breath Control and increased the rate of his mana circulation to gain a temporary boost in strength because he could feel the crocodile trying to increase its strength.

He could choose to try and match the crocodile's strength, but he chose not to.

It would be too stressful.

His eyes flashed, and his Tri-Pupil Eyes appeared for a second before disappearing, and a second later.

The Ancient Spear appeared above the crocodile, and Corey held it with his telekinesis.

'Quite a very useful ability. I wonder why the Underworld never sold a skill like this... Maybe it's because it's too strong, or it's because it's a byproduct of a person's Will which should only be formed at Tier 9, so getting a telekinesis skill is most likely impossible for the Underworld.'

This was Corey's thought at the time, but he knew that he was not totally correct because he had encountered somebody with telekinesis.

'Well, she used telekinesis against me, so I'm sure that there are others that have it. Though it might be rare.'

Despite the bulging veins on his arms, body, neck, and legs, Corey was still able to calmly think about several matters. But only three seconds had passed.

With a thought, he controlled the Ancient Spear like he was the one holding it, and despite the crocodile trying its best to break free of his hold, it was useless.

Corey's hold was something he could not escape from.

BANG!

The ground cracked beneath the crocodile as the Ancient Spear pierced through its head with ease.

With his ability to see the weaknesses in almost everything, he was able to spot the weakness of the crocodile which could not move.

After killing it, he sent the corpse into his Tri-Pupil Eyes, made sure that the bottom of the lake was safe, and that there was no hidden treasure in the lake.

Seeing that the lake was safe, and that there was no hidden treasure, he told Kiefer to take the Verdant Lotus, and he did it with joy.

After doing all of that, Corey told Pamela to guard Kiefer, Selene, and Willow, and without waiting for a response, he teleported to where a field of spirit grass were.

Knowing that it would take Kiefer a lot of time to uproot everything, he decided to do it himself.

To save time, the herbs would not be uprooted as nearly and perfectly as Kiefer's, but he did regardless knowing that he couldn't waste time on some Spiritgrass.

He created a magical formation, and made the entire earth where the Spiritgrass lived on, to rise.

After doing this, he stored everything in his Tri-Pupil Eyes, and teleported back to Pamela and the rest.

Due to the Verdant Lotus being a Grade 6 herb and Kiefer just being a Tier 3, he had to be careful uprooting the herb.

Although he was wasting time in Corey's eyes, when he saw the excitement, determination, and focus that was in Kiefer's eyes, he decided not to rush Kiefer.

Fortunately, it took him around fifteen minutes to perfectly uproot the Verdant Lotus, and Corey immediately stored the herb in his Tri-Pupil Eyes, and then he teleported all of them to the ridge where the Celestial Dewfern was.

Corey looked around, and then he looked up. His eyes turned pure white and glowed brightly as Corey increased the output manifold.

When he did this, he was able to see the ridge in its entirety from a bird's eye view, and he instantly noticed where the Celestial Dewfern was.

'Oh... That's not good. Not good at all.'

And how could he not?

When he saw numerous beasts in the surroundings of the Celestial Dewfern.

And when he saw a beast whose aura he could see through his Eyes of Omniscience gave him shivers and made his eyes bleed.

Selene, Pamela, and the others were taken aback when they saw him bleed from his eyes. Selene approached him out of concern, but Corey put out his hand and shook his head.

Although Selene, Willow, and Kiefer were curious, worried, and baffled as to why Corey was bleeding from his eyes, they decided to obey Corey and leave him.

To his surprise, the beast opened its eyes and looked up with a confusion, and Corey instantly stopped focusing on the beast.

'It could sense my gaze. Although it couldn't pinpoint where the source of the gaze was, it could sense it, and that has never happened before.'

'Are the senses of an Immortal beast that strong? This might be a problem.'

Corey frowned deeply, and the stars in his mind burned brightly as they thought of numerous ways to not defeat the beast, but to survive, cause he felt like that was going to be their main concern if they wanted to take the Celestial Dewfern for themselves.

Just as he was about to reduce the output of his Eyes of Omniscience, he noticed something odd on the ridge. He squinted his eyes, and narrowed his focus on what he saw, and his eyes flashed with slight surprise and then a calculating glint.

'Other humans from New Earth... Hmm...'

Three seconds later, Corey deactivated his Eyes of Omniscience and looked at Pamela, Kiefer, Selene, and Willow.

"So, there's an Immortal beast up there, and I don't believe we have a chance at killing it. Its aura... is too strong."

Corey looked at Pamela with a solemn expression, and Pamela frowned.

"I know. I can sense its aura from here."

Corey nodded. "One more thing. We have company over here. There are other humans."

Everybody blinked in surprise.

"Other humans? Was it humans that lived on this planet then? Or is it the King of the Kingdom of Miracles and his friends?" Kiefer asked with a confused expression.

Corey shook his head. "No. They're humans from New Earth. Invaders to be precise."
