Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 756: 754: No fun

From the moment he was dragged into the coffin, he had been shaken and stunned far too many times, but this time around, he was truly shaken.

With a glance, a talented Letherion could make a swordsman forget how to swing his sword.

With a glance, a talented Letherion could make a magician forget how to cast spells.

With a glance, an enemy could forget why they were fighting.

A god could become a mortal.

And mana and several other types of energies could forget their functions and abilities?

These were extremely terrifying abilities, and Corey could not imagine himself ever facing an enemy that had these abilities.

He could imagine himself wanting to swing his axe, but the moment he did that, he'd realize that he was a complete novice.

It was terrifying.

Extremely terrifying.

'No wonder people feared them... I can only imagine how much more terrifying they'd have been if they had a powerful physique.'

'What about me?... What would happen if I'm able to fuse with the heart and gain the abilities of the Letherions?... How terrifying would I be?'

'With the physique of a Paragon and the abilities of a Letherion, how powerful would I be?'

'Would I even need to lift a finger against most of my enemies when I can just make them helpless chickens... Would I ever struggle?'

'How powerful would I become?'

'And what limitations would I face when using the abilities of the Letherions?... What would I become?'

Corey had so many questions, especially in regards to what would happen if he fused with the heart of the last price of the Letherions?

What would happen to him?

Would he still be a Paragon or he'd become a Letherion or he'd become a new race entirely?

Corey had no idea, and he was extremely curious about it... However, he was also cautious.

He looked at Prince Zakar'el, "Apart from your weak physical body, what other limitations would I face if I fuse with your heart?... For example, I'm a Tier 3 in my universe, would I be able to make a Tier 5 or a Tier 6 forget how to use their abilities and weapons with just a glance?"

A long and uncomfortable silence filled the throne room for several seconds, and Corey was perplexed.

Had he asked something he was not mean to?

"Hmm... What a strange cultivation... or should I call it power system?"

Prince Zakar'el mumbled with an intrigued and also baffled tone while looking down with his hand on what Corey presumed was his chin.

Corey curiously raised a brow, "The power system of our universe is strange?"

Prince Zakar'el looked at Corey for a few seconds, and then he spoke.

"Hmm... It is ... Your power system uses soul energy but..."

The Prince paused, and then he shook his head.

"Don't worry about it. You'll deal with it when you're stronger..."

Corey frowned.

"If you fuse with my heart, you'll gain some of my knowledge... Part of this knowledge contains the cultivation system of my people."

"You'll have to cultivate your powers of a Letherion, and I'm sure that with your talents, you'll learn it, master it, and progress at an astonishing speed."

Corey furrowed his brows in thought, and then he looked at his Genesis Armament.

"You want to ask about the creation of the Old Ones in your hands?"

Corey looked at the Prince, "Yes... But before that, I want to know who was responsible or the group that was responsible for the nigh-extinction of your race."

'How funny would it be if it's the Supremes that almost brought the

Prince Zakar'el remained silent and just stood without moving a single muscle for at least five seconds.

Corey would have thought that the Prince was frozen and could not move, but he could sense the aura of the last Letherion Prince trembling like he was fighting an internal battle.

Fifteen seconds later, the Prince grunted and was about to keel over, but he remained on his two feet.

"Ugh."

Corey stood without moving or reacting.

"Dealing with those bastard's dreadful power is really difficult."

Corey heard the Prince mumbling a curse after he said these words, and Corey raised a brow slightly.

"Although I tried to fight the power of those bastards, I couldn't completely dispel it."

Prince Zakar'el sighed, and Corey kept on waiting without a change in his expression.

"I can't give you a lot of information about those bastards, but what I can tell you is this... Evil."

Corey raised his brows, "Just Evil?"

Prince Zakar'el nodded.

"So... Those guys are evil?... Like... They're evil beings?"

Corey looked at Prince Zakar'el with an extremely baffled expression.

He expected to hear the name of a race or a hidden organization of some sort, but all he got was a word- Evil.

What was he supposed to do with that word?

For all he knew, a lot of beings, people, race, and organizations were evil.

For example, the Underworld could be regarded as an evil organization. There's also the demon race and several other evil races.

How was he supposed to use just the word, Evil, to know what he was to face in the future?

"That's all I can tell you... Just think of it like this... Good and Evil... A Great War between Gold and Evil."

Corey furrowed his brows with a thoughtful expression, and then he looked at his hand.

"Have you ever heard of these two people....The Supreme Ancestor and the Paragon Ancestor?"

"Hmm... No, I have not... Is one of them the origin of your current bloodline?"

Corey narrowed his eyes but chose not to comment on the Prince's reply.

"Do you want to know about that axe you're holding?"

Corey glanced at his Genesis Armament, "Nah. Don't worry. I'll get to know more about my axe in the future."

Prince Zakar'el tilted his head, and with a confused tone, he spoke.

"Why don't you want to know about it now?"

"Because it'll be no fun learning everything from you all at once..."

Corey grinned, and Prince Zakar'el was stunned.
