Silver Superman (Marvel)

Chapter 1: CH 1

"In fact…"

"I am Iron Man…"

The scene was broadcast live around the world as Tony Stark uttered that famous line in front of all the reporters.

Even Ethan, who was watching the press conference in front of the TV, couldn't help raising the corners of his mouth.

After all, seeing this familiar scene in another world was a feeling that couldn't be described in words.

Yes, Ethan is a time traveler.

An accident three years ago had transported him to this extremely dangerous Marvel universe.

When he first arrived, there was no system, no cheat abilities, and no awakening of powerful mutant powers. Apart from inheriting a small estate, he was basically no different from an ordinary person.

But just a while ago, after Tony Stark disappeared, Ethan awakened the sign-in system.

The system's function was very simple: as long as he signed in every day, he would receive various rewards.

During this time, Ethan had been signing in daily, collecting all kinds of strange abilities and items:

• "Godly car skills" that guaranteed he would never crash, even driving one-handed.

• "Leon's culinary skills" (non-light version), allowing him to cook incredible dishes.

• "Exquisite medical skills" that enabled him to treat most diseases.

• A "low-temperature candle" that never burned out.

• Most importantly, the "Silver Superman template"—a power that granted him abilities similar to Superman from his previous life's comics.

This Silver Superman template gave Ethan the confidence to settle down in the Marvel world. After all, when superheroes and villains clashed, it was always the ordinary people who suffered. Any day, a car falling from the sky could turn him into a pancake.

Although he had only recently acquired the template and hadn't absorbed much sunlight yet, it was enough.

After all, Tony Stark had just announced he was Iron Man.

Captain America was still a popsicle frozen for 70 years.

And Thanos—the Mad Titan—was nowhere near Earth.

By the time Thanos arrived, Ethan was confident that he could defeat him with a single punch. Not because he wanted to be a hero—he had no such ambitions—but because he didn't want to gamble his life on that 50% chance.

As for using his powers to become a hero?

Come on.

Ethan had no such noble aspirations.

Why risk his life fighting villains when he could lie back and enjoy life?

And as for money…

The corners of Ethan's mouth curled into a smile.

As a time traveler, how could he not use his knowledge of the future to make money?

Before the system had arrived, Ethan had already taken advantage of the information gap between worlds. He began his path as a cultural pioneer, copying all the excellent works from his previous life and publishing them as novels.

"The Lord of the Rings," "Terminator" series, "Resident Evil," "Harry Potter"… All these masterpieces now existed in the Marvel universe, courtesy of Ethan's "original" works.

Today, Ethan was already the most famous novelist in America—and even the world.

Not only that, but not long ago, he had bought stock in Stark Industries.

With Tony Stark publicly admitting that he was Iron Man, Stark Industries' stock was about to skyrocket.

In other words, Ethan was about to become one of the wealthiest men in the world.

Rich and powerful!

If not now, then when?

Switching the TV to the financial channel, Ethan smirked as he watched financial experts—who had previously spoken poorly of Stark Industries—suddenly change their tune as if they had rehearsed it.

"Typical. These so-called experts are all the same."

The stock graph for Stark Industries was climbing like a vertical line.

Satisfied, Ethan suddenly remembered that he hadn't signed in today.

[Sign-in successful: Obtained Superpower - Suppression Magnetic Field!]

[Superpower - Suppression Magnetic Field]: Can be deployed anywhere within a certain range. All superpowers, mutant abilities, and magical abilities within the range are suppressed and cannot be used—unless the host personally designates someone as immune.

"Now this is useful!" Ethan's eyes lit up.

"With this covering my entire estate, no mutant or powered individual can cause trouble here. Perfect."

This estate was part of the inheritance he had received when he first arrived in this world.

"Let's set it up now."

Placing his hand on the floor of the living room, Ethan activated the power with a thought. An invisible magnetic field expanded outward, covering the entire estate.

At that very moment, outside the manor gates, a blonde girl in a black school uniform was walking along the path. Absentmindedly, she touched the back of her neck.

"Strange… I remember getting bitten by a bug last night… It kind of looked like one of Oscorp's genetically engineered spiders…"

But the bite mark had vanished without a trace.

Before she could dwell on it, an invisible force seemed to squeeze her heart, making her chest tighten painfully.

"W-What's happening? Is that bug poisonous?"

Panic set in as the blonde girl staggered to the nearest building—Ethan's manor—and rang the doorbell before collapsing unconscious.

Inside, Ethan clapped his hands in satisfaction.

"Perfect! Done!"

DING-DONG!

Startled by the sudden sound, Ethan opened the front door and found a girl lying outside.

"What the—?"

Without hesitation, he rushed over and turned her onto her back, freezing when he saw her face.

She was stunning—short blonde hair that gave her a capable look, and her school uniform highlighted her youthful figure.

But another thought popped into Ethan's head—one that perfectly fit the situation.

"Did I just… pick up a girl at my doorstep?"
