Chapter 370: Chapter 367.

Chapter 367.

Tang San observed Wang Wu closely, comparing him to his brother Feng. Although their abilities were different, some similarities stood out. Both were incredibly strong and gifted, with unpredictable combat strategies.

Yet, that was where the resemblance ended.

"What's caught your attention?" Wang Wu asked with a slight shake of his head.

He had never revealed his true identity. Disguising himself as a competitor served a purpose, particularly because Hu Liena was Bibi Dong's disciple. If she discovered his identity, there was a chance she might report it to her teacher upon returning to the Soul Hall.

Wang Wu could sense that Hu Liena harbored some feelings for him, but he didn't dwell on it. Any affection she felt couldn't possibly outweigh her loyalty to Bibi Dong, who had raised her within the Soul Hall. Letting his identity slip could be a foolish and costly mistake.

Thus, during his years in the Slaughter City, Wang Wu had carefully avoided using any abilities linked to his time in the tournament that happened in Pope's Palace. His cultivation of the Dark Angel martial soul and mastery of the Domain of Original Sin were pursued in secrecy. Even his use of the Armored Black Thorns was disguised as a technique involving imperial weapon control.

Wang Wu wasn't particularly concerned about showing his face, as his appearance had changed significantly over the past four years. However, he hesitated because his current looks were too striking and might cause unnecessary attention—or worse, stir unwanted emotions in Hu Liena.

What if she falls for me? Wang Wu thought to himself, half-amused.

"I..." Hu Liena sighed softly. She had shared a deeply personal secret with him about the flaw in her soul bone. Was it really too much to ask for such a small request?

What a heartless man, she thought.

Seeing her troubled expression, Wang Wu stepped forward and said in a calm voice, "I know how to fix your weakness in the soul bone."

Hu Liena froze in shock.

Her soul bone had fused improperly because her physical constitution wasn't strong enough, resulting in a fatal flaw. It was an issue she had only confided in Bibi Dong, who, despite her vast knowledge, didn't know how to resolve it. Soul bones were rare. Their unique properties made such defects difficult to study, let alone remedy.

"You know how to solve it?" Hu Liena asked quietly, her eyes lighting up with a mix of hope and disbelief.

This hidden weakness was a deadly liability in battle. If exposed, it could lead to catastrophic consequences. She understood all too well the danger it posed.

"Of course," Wang Wu replied.

Leaning closer, he whispered a few words in her ear.

When he pulled away, he turned and said, "Farewell, both of you."

Without waiting for a response, Wang Wu swiftly disappeared into the distance.

Hu Liena remained rooted to the spot, her cheeks burning as if aflame. She stared at his retreating figure, her expression a mix of embarrassment and disbelief.

"Nonsense... how could that possibly be a cure?" she muttered, biting her lip in frustration.

Then, casting a final glance at Tang San, she said, "Tang Yin, until we meet again."

With that, Hu Liena departed, though the blush on her face lingered.

Tang San watched them both leave, feeling puzzled. What on earth did Wang Wu say to her?

Shaking his head, Tang San began reflecting on his experiences over the past two years. He lingered for a while before preparing to leave the open field when a deep, familiar voice called out:

"Xiao San."

Tang San stiffened and turned. Standing a short distance ahead was his father, Tang Hao, who had seemingly appeared from nowhere.

The older man's face, already marked by hardship, now bore even deeper lines, as though he had aged several more years.

"Father, is the Killing God Domain the reason you sent me here to train?" Tang San asked, taking a deep breath to calm his rising emotions.

It had been more than two years since they last met. Now over eighteen, Tang San felt a newfound complexity as he faced his father.

Tang Hao nodded, his voice hoarse. "That's correct. The Killing God Domain you've acquired is still in its early stages. It provides an oppressive aura, allowing you to weaken an opponent's strength by 10% while boosting your own by the same margin. With further cultivation, this aura will evolve into a true Killing God Domain. It will be invaluable, rivaling even your Blue Silver Domain."

Tang San nodded in understanding.

The two spoke for a while, catching up. Eventually, Tang San hesitated before asking, "Father, I encountered a mysterious individual in the Slaughter City. He entered two years ago and accompanied me on the Hell Road. His name is Wang Wu. Have you heard of him?"

Tang Hao's expression turned thoughtful.

"His strength is formidable," Tang San continued. "I'd estimate he's at least at the Soul Douluo level. His abilities are peculiar, and he possesses an innate domain too. Could he be a renowned figure on the continent?"

Tang Hao was silent for a moment.

During the past two years, he had been watching Tang San from the shadows. However, the Hell Road was a place even he couldn't easily traverse, leaving him unaware of the specifics.

Tang Hao finally said, "Forget about him for now. I recently went to the Soul Hall to gather information about Xiao Feng."

Tang San's eyes widened in surprise. "Brother Feng? Did you find out where he is?"

Tang Hao shook his head. "After I took you away four years ago, Xiao Feng managed to escape from the Soul Hall."

Tang San exhaled in relief. At least he's alive.

"But after his escape, he was hunted relentlessly," Tang Hao continued, his tone grave. "The one pursuing him is the strongest Titled Douluo in the Soul Hall and maybe even in the whole of Douluo mainland."

"The strongest Titled Douluo?" Tang San echoed, his heart sinking.

Even his father spoke of this individual with respect, a testament to their immense power.

"For the past four years, the Soul Hall hasn't launched another search. This means one of two things: either Xiao Feng is dead, or he's still within their grasp."

Tang San clenched his fists. Neither outcome was acceptable. Yet, deep down, he clung to the hope that Brother Feng was still alive and had managed to escape.
