Instead, there was a white light that suddenly surrounded Joan before she started moving faster.

Even Joan couldn't help being surprised by how light her body had become when this white light surrounded her. It was as if there was an infinite source of energy that was coming from this white light that filled her.

After she was filled with energy from that white light, she began moving much faster than before. The corruption energy bird found that it just wasn't able to create any space with Joan no matter how fast it flew.

So in the end, the corruption energy bird had no choice but to turn around and try to fight back.

The problem was that the moment that it stopped, there was a mist that appeared around it that started purifying it just like before. The corruption energy bird flapped its wings in a panic as it tried to find a way out.

While it was panicking like this, that was when Joan came up right in front of it and reached out to grab it.

The corruption energy bird did all that it could to fight back, but there was nothing that it could do. All of the corruption energy that it tried to gather seemed to be purified by the mist that was around it.

It just wasn't able to fight back at all.

In the end, the only thing that happened was that there was a ball of ice that appeared around the corruption energy bird.

Even though the ball of ice was thin enough that the corruption energy bird could be clearly seen, it didn't seem like it would break that easily. No matter how the corruption energy bird slammed into the ball of ice, there wasn't a single thing that the corruption energy bird could do against it.

In fact, it seemed like more and more of the corruption energy bird was being purified as it slammed into the ball of ice that was around it.

Eventually, the corruption energy bird was only a tenth of its original size.

It was clear that this corruption energy bird had already burned through most of the corruption energy that it possessed by trying to break free. It seemed like just a single hit would be enough to take it down at this point.

But even then, it didn't seem like the corruption energy bird was planning on giving up.

It was just temporarily stopping itself from slamming into the ball of ice around it since it knew that there was no point in doing so.

However, even if it tried to find a way out, it wasn't as if there was a way out.

Just from all of this, I could tell that I was completely different from before.

From gaining that second inheritance, my power had completely exploded and I was much stronger than before. I was now on a completely different level when it came to how strong my divine energy was.

Especially when it was used to boost other sources of divine energy.

The divine energy that was inside of me had increased by more than ten times, but it wasn't just a ten times increase when I used it on other relics. In fact, it was more like I increased the power of these relics by a hundred times when I used my divine energy on them.

So far, I hadn't even used the full power of the divine energy inside of me and I had already taken down this corruption energy bird sent to take me down.

"But the Apostle of Destruction that says it's one of the Four Omens is on a completely different level." I couldn't help saying to myself.

Joan grabbed the ball of ice and went down to the ground before shaking it in her hands as if she was enjoying seeing the corruption energy bird being trapped like this.

"Kaw!" There was an aggrieved sound that came from the corruption energy bird as it slammed into one of the walls of the ball of ice, completely purifying it and making it disappear.

Seeing the awkward look that was on Joan's face, I said, "It's fine. It's not as if this thing would have said anything. I would have killed it in the end."
