In Shin-chan's arms, Yukino temporarily forgot all her worries.

Shin-chan seemed able to precisely find every comfortable spot on her body. With just a light scratch here or there, it brought her immense pleasure.

Suddenly growing so much fur after turning into a cat had naturally felt unfamiliar, but Shin-chan's massages were just right, easing all that discomfort.

As her eyes met Shin-chan's, Yukino suddenly remembered, she wasn't just a little cat. And now wasn't the time to enjoy herself. If they didn't hurry and change back, she might end up being a cat for life.

Although that recent experience made being a cat feel kind of okay… Yukino still wanted to return to being human.

"Yukino, hurry and think of something!"

Shin-chan hadn't completely let go, he just freed one hand from Yukino, changed the TV channel, grabbed a bottle of juice from the side, and continued brushing Haruno's fur with the other hand.

Using the last bit of her strength, Haruno looked at Yukino, letting out a meow.

'Damn this greedy guy, having one little cat isn't enough? He even has to make a move on my sister!?'

Even though Yukino was also annoyed in her heart, all she could do was meow twice. That was it.

She wanted to raise her paw and scratch Shin-chan, but she realized she couldn't do it. Not even a hiss would come out. Her cat body completely disobeyed, almost like it had already submitted to Shin-chan.

Hearing Shin-chan's question, Yukino simply shook her head and stared intently at him, hoping to get him to recognize who she really was.

"Hehe, I know I'm super handsome, but you don't have to stare at me like that, you know?"

Shin-chan sheepishly scratched his head. Yukino flopped onto the couch.

'I'm such an idiot… actually believed this guy… there's no hope anymore. Guess I'll just be a stray cat forever...'

She was at her limit. Coming to this infuriating guy for help and letting him pet her just for some food, what was she even doing?

Yukino's broken mind had officially started to wander.

"But hey, this little kitty looks a lot like one of my friends. How about I name you 'Yukinoshita Meowno' from now on?"

"Eh?!"

Yukino sprang back to life, just one letter off. He was just one letter off.

She jumped up again and began waving her limbs in front of Shin-chan, trying everything to get him to recognize her.

"You wanna dance? Are you asking me to teach you the G***m dance or something?"

Although she didn't know what a "G***m dance" was, Yukino had a very bad feeling in her heart.

"How about this? Let's play a game. I'll say 'Yukinoshita Yukino,' and you respond with 'meow'!"

"Meow?!"

Boom!

A puff of white smoke exploded.

Shin-chan felt a sudden weight on his leg, Yukinoshita Yukino had appeared before him, sitting right on his right thigh.

Shin-chan, '…'

Yukino, '…'

"Ahem… So, uh… what a coincidence."

Truth be told, Shin-chan had recognized Yukino long ago. He just wanted to mess with her a little. After all, it's not every day your friend turns into a kitten.

Under normal circumstances, Shin-chan wouldn't feel awkward about this. But… he hadn't realized one thing.

Yukino and Haruno had turned into cats on the bed. Their clothes had been left behind. After they became cats and were covered in fur, they didn't think about the clothes at all.

Now, suddenly turning back into a human, Yukino was completely naked.

Expressionless, Yukino stared at Shin-chan with deep disdain.

'Whatever. Let this world be destroyed already.'

"That, uh… Yukino, this cat is your older sister Yukinoshita—"

"NO!"

Yukino realized what Shin-chan was about to do, but it was too late to stop him.

"Haruno?"

Another puff of smoke. Haruno returned to her human form, still in a state of complete shock.

"You're still looking?!"

Yukino instantly tried to shield Haruno with her body, but realized it was utterly pointless.

She couldn't block her. They were sisters, yet the difference in figure was so unfair.

And in her effort to shield Haruno, Yukino had completely exposed her own weaknesses.

"Don't look!"

Overwhelmed with shame and fury, Yukino recalled the signature move of Hiratsuka-sensei, and used all her strength to deliver a loving iron punch to Shin-chan.

Maybe he thought it was time to stop, or maybe he really felt the need to end this properly, Shin-chan cooperatively clutched his head and stopped looking around.

"Ahh… that really hurts!"

"Stop faking it! It didn't hurt at all, did it!? Hurry up and get us some clothes!"

Yukino felt like she had nothing left to lose. He'd seen everything. This guy, Shin-chan, was seriously infuriating.

But deep down… Yukino was also happy. He really hadn't let her down. He recognized her, and helped her turn back into a human.

It's just… the cost was a bit too high.

Feeling a little disheveled, Shin-chan headed to the bedroom and saw Shiro.

"Shiro, you rascal, why didn't you warn me!?"

'I knew you were gonna blame me! Do something wrong and shift the blame onto me, huh?' Shiro looked at Shin-chan helplessly and sighed.

'But Yukinoshita-san had turned back into a human now, so… this was a joyful occasion, worth celebrating with a Coca-Cola, right?'

When Shin-chan returned to the living room, the Yukinoshita sisters had already come out of the bathroom, each wrapped in a bath towel.

"That disappointed look in your eyes, what's that supposed to mean!? Hurry back to your room! We need to change!"

Yukino felt that in her entire life, she had never been this angry all at once.
