"A wise choice," Akeno says, as the other two options fade out, leaving just the mirage of Sasuke pumping into the featureless woman. "Do you feel that?"
He does. A tingling sensation that goes throughout his body.
"You're Level One now," Akeno says. "That ability is at your disposal whenever you wish. Remember: once a week. There is potential to upgrade it in the future, but I wouldn't focus on that in the here and now."
"Right," says Sasuke.
There's an awkward pause. Sasuke isn't sure what to do now. Akeno's eyes flit towards the door and he recognizes that it's about time for his journey to begin in earnest.
"How does this work? You being my handler and all?" Sasuke asks.
"If you ever need to see me again, all you have to do is will me into existence," Akeno tells him. "Close your eyes. Imagine this room. If no one else is around, then a door will appear and lead you here."
"That's awfully convenient," says Sasuke. "What if someone's around?"
"Nothing will happen. The laws of the game won't allow it."
"Yeah, that does sound about right," Sasuke murmurs. "I suppose it's about time for me to leave."
"Oh, there's no need to worry, my sweet Sasuke," Akeno purrs. "I'm sure I'll be seeing you again soon.'
With a lump in his throat, he heads for the door. Akeno's eyes burn into the back of his head as he fiddles with the knob.
"One more thing," Akeno says, making Sasuke pause just as he was about to open the door.
She waits. He turns to face her.
"What is it?"
"I have a hint: follow the water. Oh, and do be careful not to let the sun's reflection blind you."
Akeno smiles and waves. Sasuke swallows.
Then he exits through the door.
He finds himself back on the corner of that stream. When he looks over his shoulder, the cottage is gone. More than gone—there's a cusp of trees and rocks where it'd been a second ago. There's a tingly sensation up and down Sasuke's back. He pinches his arm to make sure that he's awake and alert, and unfortunately he is.
"Follow the water and don't let the sun blind you," Sasuke mutters to himself.
He can recognize where he and Akeno came from by a twist in the stream. He only can assume that she means to keep heading in this direction. So he does.
A shiver runs down his spine. The longer he walks, the more he's sure that this isn't all a dream. He can still taste Akeno's tea on his lips. He can still picture the sight of her deepthroating his cock. And he checks the map in his pocket at least five times to make sure that it's shape-shifting properties haven't gone away.
It's a quiet hour or so. He's left with his thoughts, what little there are when all of his memories are stricken away. He relives that time in the cottage with Akeno again and again; the visceral details of that blowjob are scarred into the back of his mind.
'Is that all I'm in this world to do?' Sasuke muses. 'To fuck and to get stronger doing it?'
It seems incredible. Yet really, with his memories gone, it's all he knows. To be honest, he can't bring himself to complain. A world like that sounds lovely.
He follows the stream, which widens and contract, it twists and bends. He doesn't see much civilization aside from the occasional felled tree or desolate hunting shack.
Then he rounds a corner and sees a village in the distance. Chimneys pump smoke into the air as figures mill through the paths. It's a rich enough place, with solid stone houses and a little palisade enclosing the perimeter.
In front of him is the end of the stream, a small lake that gleams with the sun's glow.
He finds himself momentarily blinded.
Then he sees her.
She's stunning in a way that he can't quite describe, and captivating in a way that has his gaze glued to her without fail. She's stepping out of the water, oblivious to her presence, a quirky little grin playing on her lips.
Long, platinum blonde hair falls down her back in a glossy curtain. Clad in blue undergarments that match her eyes, Sasuke can see everything.
He likes what he sees.
She's gorgeous. With a firm and toned body that gleams with water droplets. He can't help but salviate as he looks her up and down.
'Is she who Akeno wanted to lead me to?'
