"How do you feel?" Akeno asks.

"Great," Sasuke manages to say. "I feel different...?"

"As I said, it doesn't take much to get to Level One," Akeno murmurs. "One blowjob was more than enough. Do you care to take that map out of your pocket again?"

"Sure," he says.

He takes the map out, unfurling it. Only this time, instead of a map of the Queendom of Riwyth, there's text written onto the parchment.

'Congratulations!' it reads. 'You've reached Level 1. See your Handler for your leveling up options.'

"Handler?" Sasuke asks.

"That's me," Akeno chirps. "I'm an avatar, more or less."

'Avatar?' Sasuke thinks.

"An embodiment of the game you've found yourself entangled in," Akeno answers, as if she can read his mind. Which, it seems, she possibly can. "I've been given a personality, but to call me real is a stretch."

"So, you'll describe to me my leveling options?" Sasuke says.

"Mhm."

If he has any doubts as to the veracity of her claims, it's wiped away by her next actions.

Akeno holds out her hands. In one, a small mirage appears—it's him. Sasuke. He's running and jumping, and then, he's in battle against some vacant figure, teeth gritted, a sword in hand.

In the other is also Sasuke, trapped in a different kind of battle. A faceless, curvaceous woman writhes beneath him as he pumps away into her with wild abandon.

In the center between the two, numbers and pieces of parchment float on by.

"Every time you level up, you get what we'll call a Skill Point," Akeno explains. "These Skill Points can be applied to a variety of things, but for the most part, we can reduce them to three primary categories. There are skills that will enhance your combat ability. There are skills that will enhance your prowess in the bedroom. Then, there's skills that will enhance your ability to gather information and to access me, not to mention other tidbits that might come in handy.

Sasuke slowly rises from the chair, staring at the holograms that Akeno is projecting. They're almost life-like, and he finds himself poking a finger through the mirage of him. It's incredible.

"What would you be most interested in?" Akeno wonders.

"Um—"

He pauses for a moment and weighs his options.

"You say I can only Level up through sex…"

"Correct," Akeno confirms.

"What's stopping me from just investing all of my points into my prowess in the bedroom?" says Sasuke, folding his hands across his chest as he watched that particular mirage.

"Your journey is yours to choose," Akeno says. "I would advice caution, though. Remember this: when you're tempted to choose something over enhanced Strength or Dexterity, there's more to deal with in this playground of yours than just beautiful women."

Sasuke pauses.

"Okay," he says. "What are my options this time around?"

"For your first Level up, you get to choose between three," says Akeno.

She takes a hand and slices it through the holograms, erasing them form existence. Then she waves her palm one more time and three more holograms come to life.

Akeno looks to Sasuke's left.

"Your first choice," she says. "Are you worried about your performance in the bedroom? Or perhaps even in the field of battle? Than this perk will enhance it. Not only will it give you a good boost to start with, but it'll make it easier for you to train your Dexterity on your own."

The hologram demonstrates Sasuke sprinting down a field. Then he's climbing up the side of a mountain. Lastly, he's hammering away into the cunt of some featureless woman with wild abandon. The hologram cycles through these three scenes.

Akeno looks dead ahead.

"Your second choice," she says. "Information is powerful—entire countries have been felled by the right intelligence in the right place. This perk will enhance your character sheet and could potentially give you an edge with the right woman."

Finally, she looks to Sasuke's right.

"This last choice is simple. You'll be granted something we'll term an 'ability'—once every week, you'll be able to use it. In this case, the ability is called 'Arousal.'

"Arousal?" says Sasuke.

"As you might expect, it has something to do with arousing prospective women you might come across," Akeno says, smirking. "Once a week, you can turn a woman on with the flip of a switch. Maybe, you want to rack up a bunch of experience by having sex over and over with a sure thing? Or perhaps, you want to seal the deal and bag a new conquest by pushing her over the edge? The uses are innumerable." She pauses. "Tread carefully, however. Arousal will only work if they're already attracted to you and can have varying effects depending on who you use it on. Generally, the stronger the person, the weaker a low-level ability like Arousal will be."

Sasuke weighs his options.

Dexterity sounds useful, but to put his first Level up into something that doesn't have immediate results seems a little silly. Extra information on a character sheet could be helpful too, but of the three options, only one has an immediate use that he can foresee.

"I think I'll go with Arousal," he says. "It might be low-level, but I imagine it'll help me out in the early goings."
