Ruler's Awakening: Inheritor of the SSS-Rank Dimensional Talent

Chapter 318: Seeking Information

Getting information about the truth of the Golden Cross group, Aaron was determined to find out more, especially about the location of their headquarters and the significant number of members.

"Do you know the exact location of their base?" Aaron asked Jackson.

Jackson shook his head. As for the exact location, he didn't know it because he wasn't part of an elite mage troop unit, such as the Integrity Knight.

He also added that the Golden Cross group was quite difficult to track, even the Integrity Knight also needed time to find their whereabouts.

"Sorry. I don't know their whereabouts," Jackson replied.

Aaron nodded. He realized that Jackson's position was limited to the academy's chief instructor, not holding an important position in Integrity Knight. Asking him for a definitive answer about the location of the Golden Cross would be futile.

"I see. It looks like I'll have to leave to find out more information," Aaron said.

"I don't know when I'll be back, but at least I'm glad I got to see you again, Jackson," Aaron replied, turning around and reaching out, asking Jackson to shake his hand.

Jackson was touched by Aaron's words, it was an honor for him to be friends with a Great Ruler mage like Aaron.

"Thank you for surviving. If Natasha sees you, she'll be very happy," Jackson explained.

"I'll see her later."

After sufficiently saying goodbye to Jackson, Aaron opened the dimensional crack by swinging his hand to the side.

Jackson's two students looked shocked, as did Jackson. They gasped at Aaron's ability to manipulate dimensional boundaries.

"He's not lying. He really can use dimensional abilities," said the female student.

Before long, Aaron stepped into the place and left it. Slowly, the dimensional cracks closed and shrank, until they completely disappeared.

Jackson could breathe a sigh of relief. Although Aaron was his friend, he still had to be careful in his words so as not to offend Aaron, especially since Aaron's abilities were higher than his.

He turned around, looking at his two students who were still in shock. They still couldn't believe that their teacher was friends with a mage who was good at using dimensional abilities.

"How did you become friends with him?" the male student asked, curious.

"It's a long story. You don't need to know it, because it's not important for your development," Jackson replied.

"But after you see her, I hope you have the ambition to reach the Great Ruler tier like her," said Jackson.

Both of them were even more surprised that they didn't know the mage tier of their teacher friend because Aaron had hidden his mage tier. However, after Jackson said it, a sense of admiration began to grow in their hearts towards Aaron.

"Not only that, he's also a former student of the London Academy of Magic. However, due to one unexpected incident, he was stripped of his status as a student."

"What happened?" a female student asked.

Jackson paused while looking at his desk, then sighed and shook his head. Again, he had no intention of telling them the story of Aaron's past.

That made Jackson's two students curious. However, Jackson asked them to forget about their friend and focus on improving their magic skills.

Jackson asked so because they soon had to focus on the First Union Tournament which was attended by graduating academy students throughout Europe with certain requirements. It was to attract the graduates to sign up as members of the Integrity Knight group.

The two Jackson students nodded. They agreed to follow what their teacher said.

Elsewhere, Aaron again opened the dimensional crack and arrived fully at the gate of Earth Core Tower. There was another reason why Aaron came to that place.

There, all the mages gathered to interact more casually and freely. They were much more knowledgeable about the situation of magic in the world than the natives in the city or Union.

Aaron paid the administrative fee and stepped into the portal. A cross-dimensional journey ensued until Aaron fully arrived at the 1st floor city of Earth Core Pillar.

Just as he imagined, mages filled the first floor city just like a fantasy world. They interacted, relaxed, partied, and fought together with the same goal.

However, it was different with Aaron. The man had come with the intention of seeking more information about the Golden Cross, although Aaron wasn't sure if he could get the information or not.

Aaron stepped through the city gates, several times encountering mages with luxurious and glamorous looks, such as thick, shiny iron armor and luxurious and glamorous mage suits.

"Why are they so enthusiastic? Why don't I see people like them in the Dark Pillar Tower?" Aaron asked.

Some of them didn't seem to care much about Aaron's presence, either because of their ignorance or because they were busy.

Aaron stepped among the crowd until he arrived at the city center, where people were gathered while voicing invitations to join their groups or parties.

The atmosphere seemed more festive in the city on the first floor of Earth Core Tower than on the first floor of Dark Pillar Tower.

However, that was not Aaron's goal. He walked back in the other direction until he arrived at a crowded tavern.

When the door was opened, Aaron saw that the atmosphere was quite crowded inside the tavern that he had difficulty finding an empty table.

"Welcome. Would you like to order something?" asked the bartender, greeting Aaron.

Aaron walked over to the bartender's table and asked the man to serve him the best drink they had. The bartender was happy to do so.

"Did you come for the monster raid?" asked the bartender, Aaron shook his head without speaking.

"I'm looking for a group," Aaron replied.

"What group?" asked the male bartender, handing Aaron a glass with a drink.

"Golden Cross."

The man looked stunned and paused in his activity for a moment, then resumed it again as if nothing had happened. However, he replied to Aaron's words.

"If you want to stay alive, you should never look for trouble with them," the man replied, "Don't look for trouble. Don't look for their existence. Don't hate them."

"Is the Golden Cross group that scary?" asked Aaron.

"Sir... you have absolutely no idea about what you're dealing with."
